It is indeed a fact that more than half the world uses social media in today’s context. The rise of social media occurred at a massive rate within the past decade. Social media is basically an application or a group of software programs and websites that connects us to the world.  Social media enables one to create and share content or to participate in social networking by sharing text, photos or any sort of data and information. The main reason why social media is so prominent is because it provides a platform for us to communicate from any part of the world at any time as long as we have internet access.

As a matter of fact, social media has completely changed the world and has made a huge impact on the world. Clearly, we can view the impact created by social media in today’s day to day life as most of the people are glued to their phone from morning till night-time. Social media is like flying a fish you might not know what you’re actually doing and why and where exactly you are investing your time but you are still putting your efforts to stay connected. For many people not a day passes without them posting on social media and scrolling on Instagram or Facebook feeds. The astonishing thing about social media is that it knows how to keep their users glued to the screen for hours. Social media is manipulating us both directly and indirectly. Most of us spend hours of our day wandering in social media platforms that means it is consuming our priceless time for not much in return. It is seen that those who use social media for a long time they gradually build insecurities about them not being as good or as happy as others. We unknowingly start to compare ourselves and our life with what we see in social media. I am not saying that all what we see on social media are unreal or unnecessary. I believe that it is a privilege for being able to use social media applications.

Nowadays, through social media business marketing strategies have also been profited as it manipulates users to buy their product. In general, social media has benefited the people to a great extent rather it be video call, text, time pass or sharing your status or presenting your view to the world. In my point of view social media has its own pros and cons ,it is regarded to be useful because it serves as a way of connecting to the whole world but again it exposes our data directly or indirectly, and in today’s context data is the most important thing in the world if they can access our data then they can manipulate us very easily. Social media has vastly evolved from being a handy means for keeping in touch with friends and family to being used in ways that have a real impact on the world. Social media is now being used in ways that involves politics, different cultures, education, careers, innovation, business and many more.

Social media is a remarkable progress in technology as it provides information, connects us to the current situation and what is happening in the world, but more of anything does more harm than good likewise maximum use of social media spoils us and our time. Social media, if used when only needed to consume information or to provide useful information, can lead us to a very productive life. Any platform where we spend our most time should be for our personal development and not for passing time only, we should learn and enhance our knowledge and ignore conflicts which are of no use that prevails in these platforms. We should spread positivity, wisdom and knowledge in social media and should not strengthen cyber-crime like cyber bullying, hacking or spreading hate on social media.

Moreover, everyone should be using social media as a boon of technology and use it tactfully so that it serves us more convenience. One should not invest their most valuable weapon that is time, on something that doesn’t do any good. I wish that Social media would be regarded as a blessing and not a tool that takes one’s time and makes one unproductive. 

Three great men changed history forever by accomplishing their mission to go to the moon. One of them was Michael Collins who was part of the Apollo 11 crew which launched from earth on July 16, 1969, at 13:32:00 UTC. Even though Michael Collins did not walk on the moon, he flew the command module Columbia and had a crucial role in the mission. 

Michael Collins was born on October 31, 1930, in Rome. He grew up in a family where most of them were part of the U.S. military. Collins graduated from the United States Military Academy in June of 1952. Collins was selected as part of the third group of astronauts by NASA in 1963 to participate in the Gemini and Apollo programs. Collins’ was first assigned to Gemini 7 as a backup pilot. But his first spaceflight was on Gemini 10. The goals of the mission were to perform 15 experiments and also undertake 2 spacewalks. During the training for Apollo 11, Collins was offered to get back into the crew sequence which would have made him commander of the upcoming missions. But he rejected the offer and wanted to stop participating in space programs because his schedule had affected his family’s life like many of his astronaut friends. He believed that he could fulfill John F . Kennedy’s promise that Americans would land on the moon within the decade. On July 21, Eagle lifted off the surface of the moon and rejoined Collins aboard the Columbia. Collins and the other astronauts safely returned to earth on July 24, 1969. 

After working at NASA, Collins was appointed to the position of Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs. After that, he became the director of the National Air and Space Museum. Collins was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 2011. Michael Collins passed away from cancer on April 28, 2021, at the age of 90.

के साँच्चै मानव विवेकशील प्राणी हाे त ? झट्ट हेर्दा के भनेकाे हाेला जस्तो लाग्न सक्छ तर यसमा गहिराे अध्ययनकाे आवश्यकता छ । लाग्छ, हामी विज्ञान र आधुनिक आविष्कारकाे तालमा भकुन्डे उफ्राइ उफ्रिरहेका छाैँ ।

 त्यसभन्दा पनि अझ भयानक त्रास याे छ कि त्यो भकुन्डाे जति बेला पनि फुट्न सक्छ, आजकाे मानव जीवन धरापमा भएजस्तै । हामी आधुनिक युग र प्रविधिमा यसरी पाेख्त भएका छाैँ कि विश्वकाे ताजा हावालाई प्रदूषणमा परिवर्तन गरिसक्याैँ । कति विवेकशील हामी अनि कति प्रकृतिप्रेमी ?

 सुन्छु, आविष्कारकर्ताहरू मङ्गल ग्रहमा बस्ती बसाउने तरखरमा छन् रे । अरे पृथ्वीजस्तै दूषित र अनेकौँ राेगव्याधले त्याे ग्रहलाई पनि भर्न कति आतुर अनि प्रतीक्षााविहीन अवस्थामा छाैँ हामी । याे पढिरहँदा कतिलाई लाग्न सक्छ यसलाई त आधुनिक उपलब्धिकाे नयाँ फड्काेकाे रूपमा स्विकार्नुपर्छ तर आधुनिक विकासकाे नाममा प्रकृतिलाई विनास गर्ने अधिकार कसले दियाे मानवलाई ? भाेलि त्यो ग्रह पनि आजकाे जस्तै प्रदूषण हुन सक्दैन र ? प्रविधि र विज्ञानलाई मात्र आविष्कारकाे स्वरूप देख्ने हाम्राे मनस्थितिमा प्रकृति र वातावरणबारे कसले साेच्ने ? त्यसकाे जिम्मा कसले लिने ? यही भूमिमा निलाे आकाशमुनिकाे स्वच्छ हावालाई खुला रूपमा लिन मिल्ने वातावरण फेरि बनाउन सक्दैनाैँ  र हामी ? 

दिन प्रतिदिन हाम्राे वायुमण्डल फाेहाेर अनि प्रदूषणकाे खानी हुँदै गइरहेकाे छ । विभिन्न राेगले मानव जीवन नै धरापमा परेकाे अवस्थामा छ । क्षणभरमा लाखौँ मानिस मरिरहेका छन् । अरे हामी छाती फुलाएर गर्वका साथ आफूलाई विवेकशील प्राणी भन्छाैँ तर मेराे एउटा सानाे प्रश्नकाे उत्तर दिन नसकेर अझै पनि चुप बस्ने ?

आवश्यक खबर सम्बन्धित सबैलाई थाहा दिने वा दिनका लागि पठाइएको वा टाँसिएको पत्रलाई सूचना भनिन्छ । प्रविधि भन्नाले कुनै काम गर्दा अनुभव तथा प्रयोगका आधारमा अँगालिने खास विधि वा प्रक्रिया बुझिन्छ । महत्त्व भन्नाले त्यसको विशेषता बुझिन्छ । वर्तमान विश्वमा सूचना प्रविधिको महत्त्व व्यापक रूपमा बढ्न पुगेको छ । 

संसारको कुनै पनि ठाउँमा भएका घटना आदिका विविध सूचना संसारभर फैलाउने माध्यम सूचना प्रविधि हो । अहिलेको विश्वमा सूचनाको निकै महत्त्व रहेको छ पहिले पहिलेको जमानामा विज्ञानमा त्यति विकास नआएकाले सूचना प्रविधि धेरै थिएन तर अहिले टेलिभिजन, रेडियो, मोबाइल, इन्टरनेटद्वारा सूचना सजिलैसँग दिन र पाउन सकिन्छ । सूचनाले हाम्रो जिन्दगी धेरै सजिलो पार्दछ । केही महत्त्वपूर्ण कुरा छ अथवा केही आवश्यक कुराहरू छन् भने सबैको कानमा पुर्याउनको लागि सूचना प्रविधिले धेरै सहयोग गर्दछ । अहिलेको समयमा कम्प्युटरले गर्दा सूचना दिन निकै सजिलो भएको छ । मानिसले दुनियाँको कुनै पनि कुनामा बसेर यो विश्वमा के-के घटनाहरू घटिरहेका छन् भनेर जानकारी पाउन सक्छ । इन्टरनेट एकदमै राम्रो प्रविधि भए पनि केही मानिसहरूले याे प्रविधिकाे दुरुपयोग गर्ने गर्दछन्, जस्तैः नक्कली खबर वा सूचनाहरू इन्टरनेटमा हाल्दछन्, जसले गर्दा समाजमा निकै ठुलो भ्रम सिर्जना हुने गर्दछ । 

त्यसैले यो समय भनेको सूचना प्रविधिको समय हो । मानिसहरू यस विद्युतीय सञ्जालबाट आफ्नो कामदेखि लिएर अनेक सूचनाहरू लेनदेन गर्ने भएका छन् । यसको महत्त्व यसैले पनि झन् बढ्दै गएको छ । एक कोठामा बसेर संसारको कुनै पनि कुराको खबर वा जानकारी राख्न सकिने हुनाले मात्र होइन, आजको यस व्यस्त युगले नै ल्याएको यस प्रविधिबाट ताढा कोही पनि रहन नसक्ने हुनाले नै सूचना प्रविधिको महत्त्व झन् झन् बढ्दै गइरहेको छ ।

I don't want to remember the time because from that time I became alone and I got away from my home. It was a day of poush 3, I left my home and came here to Kathmandu. After finishing my SEE exams, my parents decided to send me away for my further studies. They sent me to Kathmandu where I would learn and achieve something, changing my way of thinking for the better.

After a lot of research my parents send me off to Deerwalk sifal school +2. This massive college is located in Sifal, Kathmandu. This was the first time I was away from home, the first time I was interacting with new people. The first day of my college was not so good because of my exam.  I was so nervous it wasn't funny. Also, I didn't have my mom right by my side and I felt very hard in doing work.

I have to do everything like cooking, washing, etc. The biggest challenge for me at the very first time was to adjust in a new city, community and college because previously I was used to being in my own city, with my old friends, at my old school. At the very first time, I often got homesick and wanted to go home but after some days I was adjusted. After adjusting here, I felt much easier than the previous days but the feeling of living alone makes it quite difficult. Every morning I used to wake up at 6:00 am and do my work and get ready for my college. After college, I come back home and do my work as usual. The routine is usual as other days.

The biggest thing about living alone is to get freedom and there we get a chance of doing our own. Sometimes we get homesick because we miss our parents, family and neighbours so much. Living alone helps to improve discipline, encourages independence and develops communicating and participating skills. We learn how to evaluate the things we assume to be true in light and help in developing ideas, views etc. Thus, away from home makes improvement in self living, self dependent and other surrounding activities.

“Wow thing called can be very amusing, every day can be fun in a painful way. The way we interpret life can show how satisfied we are. Even though I am , Why don’t that pain go away!!!?? Why does it hurt for a person to survive!”

“Why do I have only 365 day to survive? Please why won’t anyone tell me that thing is a lie ! Why doesn’t anyone deny the fact! .”

Voices in my head,”Because you were never meant to survive , after the extraction disaster”

Me whispering ,”So , I was affected by that huh! No chance of living, body slowly decaying.”  

*Laughs while holding tears in the eyes*

“So whatever i do , i am gonna die, anyways huh! Will crying stop the inevitable, The answer is ‘NO!’. My hand keeps shaking , why.? , why..? , I told myself that I won't fear anything, I won't cry to anything, But the tears can’t stop falling down.” 

*Wipes the tears with a cloth*

“Now, let fulfill every wishes that I have written, but who is gonna help me if my family don’t exist”

*Hits in his face*

“No negative thoughts , Just Moving forward in life, Weaks tend to take a shortcut, But strong overcomes it. I will see throughout the life, Each day of this life won’t go to waste and i will see my end myself with the satisfaction of completing everything as listed ”

*Stands on his feet*

“Now let start fulfilling my needs  for 363 days”

The countdown started of the boy’s life. The boy has countless wishes. In this world, surviving without support is similar to going through hell. Yet, after many times of cheering himself on, he did tend to do anything because it seemed pointless. He was kicked out of workplace , school and was isolated from society. The boy fell into despair.

“Nothing can be done, how much I try, huh, all leads to nothingness at last, so why to suffer with a big face!!”

The boy just kept sinking in the void of nothingness. The life he wished for breaked into pieces. Nothing can be done to patch this up. The memories of his family flashed before his eyes. The word everyone told him to grow and become a source of return.

“I promised my parents that I will correct myself, I will become a great human being that survived, I will make this world remember my name.”

Everyday in his life, he didn't waste any time. He decided to live for the name. He worked everyday from dawn to dusk. He tends to create his own life and make a remarkable progress that could make him famous. But everything wouldn’t go smoothly. In this Cruel World, ‘Superior being suppresses the weaker’. Superior make people under their control by means of threats. No-one ever dares to defy the superiors.

“Why !, Why !, Why !, even though the work I did was better so why was I not chosen, Why was the worst work chosen over others, that guys didn't even do anything, so Why”

When he asked the same question to the head person in charge. The head person avoided him. But then she turned back and said a few words.

“ Superiors win at all cost, Suppress-es the weak, Threats everyone……..”

Then the head person fell down, losing consciousness. The boy realized that he had faced hard times that she committed sucide through poison. Boy cried in despair.

“Wow! I never had any chances in front of them, how do people survive? I wasted 205 days for nothing.”

*Falls into void of no return*

“I give up on my life, but I will have my revenge on these superiors who walked around like kings. They don't deserve to live. For their crimes that will pay, Now i guess i won't be popular from good means, i would be popular from the evil side.”

*Boy laughs as a new evil was born*

He learned about hacking, and created many terrorist items. It took him about 100 days to perfect everything. Hence, Only got 60 days to survive and execute his plan.

“NOW LET’S START THE HELL TIME, COUNTDOWN  STARTS NOW!!”

The boy injected the virus into their system. Causing system failure and emergency system to turn on. Every Single door was closed in the facility. He injected a harmful virus in the ventilation system and flooded the whole place with toxic smoke containing viruses. He bombed the nearby facilities.

“Let the destruction start.”

*Tap the button in the detonator*

Everything falling apart. The army outside could enter the building as there was a risk of a bomb nearby the area. 

 

“MISSION SUCCESSFUL”

Then he fled from the place. Camera caught footage of the boy in the area which was recorded in nearby buildings. 

“Now, my revenge has been taken, i will spend rest of my remaining day”

The incident had mentally affected the boy. Then his condition got worse. He couldn’t even stand. There was no-one to take care of him. The house was old Rotten no-one used to go there. The boy passed away in the house, which is said to be haunted.

Government was still in search of the terrorist. Someday later, one of the head detectives of the case visited the house said to be haunted with some people as that could be a perfect place for hiding. But found piles of bones on the bed with spider webs all round the room. He was given a proper burial but the house was taken down by the government, but the house was still reported to be seen standing in the night.         Every Year!!.

हामी मानिसहरूसँग धेरै खराब बानीहरू हुन्छन् । जीवनमा मानिसले खराब बानीकै कारणले धेरै कुरा सिक्ने गर्दछ । यही खराब बानीले मानिसहरू जीवनमा खुसी वा दुखी हुन सक्छन् । थाेरै मात्रामा खराब बानी हुनुपर्छ, जसकाे कारण मानिसहरूलाई अनेकाैँ कुराहरू थाहा हुन्छन् । संसारभरका सबै मानिसमा कुनै न कुनै नराम्रो बानी हुन्छ, जस्तैः वैज्ञानिकहरूको खराब बानी हुन्छ, जसकाे कारण तिनीहरूमा विभिन्न विचारहरू आउँछन् । केही नयाँ काम गर्न हामीसँग खराब बानी हुनुपर्छ । व्यापारीहरूकै उदाहरण लिऊँ । तिनीहरू पैसा कमाउनकै लागि मानिसहरूलाई मुर्ख बानउने गर्दछन् । हरेक कुरालाई नकारात्मक तरिकाले हेर्ने, धुमपान गर्ने, धेरै टिभी हेर्ने आदि खराब बानीका उदाहरणहरू हुन् ।

अरूकाे आलाेचना गर्ने धेरेे मानिसहरूकाे खराब बानी हाे । यदि कुनै मान्छेकाे लुगा फोहोर छ भनी हामी त्याे मान्छे गरिब छ भन्ने मान्छाैँ । समय समयमा मानिसहरूले मेराे आलाेचना गर्छन् किनकि मेराे कपाल अरूकाे भन्दा फरक र लामाे छ । त्यसै कारण कसै कसैले पागल पनि भन्ने गर्दछन् । 

त्यसैले हामी यस्ता कुरालाई ध्यान नदिएर अगाडि बढ्नुपर्छ । सुनेको कुरा चाँडै पत्याउनु एउटा खराब बानी हाे, त्यसमाथि पनि खराब कुरामा सबैभन्दा छिटाे विश्वास गर्ने बानी झनै खराब बानी हाे । 

Think back to your favorite moment of your favorite show. What do you remember about it? Surely, it could be the thrills you felt, the tears you wept, and the joy you experienced. All of the senses were elated, making it a most memorable experience. Now I ask you to think hard, do you remember the music that was played? 9/10 people don’t realize what music was playing during the scene. Doesn’t this suggest that the music was insignificant? Quite contrarily, that’s the beauty of it. Enhancing the caliber of a show while so little realize its existence is not a small feat. I guarantee that if the choice of the music, its composition, theme, whatever it might be was bad, it would’ve destroyed the experience. I daresay it could even be the worst scene. Basically what I want to talk about is the impact of music, be it an OST or a song in a show, how it affects it.

When you think about an action-packed show, say ‘The Avengers’, all you remember is the fights and the hype that it brought. But once you remove the music element of it, suddenly it just resembles a backstreet fight. There would be no tension, no thrill, no impact. More examples can be seen a lot in Japanese anime. One of which I’d like to talk about is titled ‘Megalo Box’, which is a boxing show heavily influenced by its music. The soundtrack of the show is gorgeous and enhances the show tenfold. The already action-packed show was further hyped up. Furthermore, the timing to play the music and the timing to play it was impeccable. It always gives that thrill, waiting for one more punch to land. And I believe all of this was due to the music.

For those people who don’t indulge in the action side of media, surely have heard about “Titanic”, the famous James Cameron movie which is, to this day, hailed as one of the best in the history of entertainment. I said before that music helps hype up a show and give it more spice. Conversely, it makes a scene more emotional. Taking “Titanic” as an example, many people who watched the movie cried, especially during the climax. But what made it so tear-jerking? One would say that it was because of the heart-breaking scene of Jack and Rose’s final goodbye. However, I would like to add that the final song, the final music that the band played until the Titanic sunk, made me feel more immersed. Yes, the Jack and Rose scene was the highlight of the scene, but what captivated me more was the music. If it weren’t for that, I wouldn’t have been so immersed in the scene.

Long story short, every show is heavily influenced by its music. Sad shows can be made sadder, action shows can be given more thrill, even mysteries can get more exciting if the correct music is played. More often than not, people complain about a scene if there is bad music played because it ruins their viewing experience. But when it is done perfectly, it subtly blends with the show, seeming non-existent but surely enhancing the show. And that is its beauty. In the end, being able to create a  big impact is not something that can be achieved easily, but it is something that music has done beautifully.

संसारमा फैलिरहेको महामारीको कारण हामी सबैजनालाई निक्कै समस्या परिरहेको छ । कोही आफ्नो परिवारबाट टाढा हुनु परेको छ, कोहीले आफ्नो काम छोड्नु परिरहेको छ भने अरूले अन्य समस्याहरू भोग्नु परेको छ । नेपालमा पनि केही महिना लकडाउन भएको थियो । विद्यालयलगायत अरू सबै कार्यालयहरू बन्द गरिएका थिए तर बिचमा फेरि सबै खुलाइए । एक समय यस्तो पनि थियो जब मानिसहरू कोरोनादेखि डराउन छाडे । सबै चिज खुलिसकेका थिए तर मास्क चाहिँ सधैँ सबैको अनुहारमा हुन्थ्यो । अब फेरि त्यो समय फिर्ता आएको छ । मानिसहरूमा फेरि त्यो डर बढ्न थालेको छ । त्यसैले सरकारले विद्यालयहरू अनलाइनबाट हुने निर्णय गर्यो ।

जब मैले यो कुरा थाहा पाएँ, म खुसी पनि थिएँ तर साथसाथै निरास पनि थिएँ । विद्यालयमा बसेर पढ्दा शिक्षकले पढाएको निक्कै सजिलोसँग बुझिन्छ । साथीभाइहरूसँग पनि सँगै बसेर पढ्न पाइन्छ र पढाइको साथसाथै रमाइलो पनि गर्न पाइन्छ तर अनलाइन कक्षा हुँदा धेरै समस्याहरू भोग्नुपर्दछ । कहिले नेट जान सक्छ, कहिले बत्ती जान सक्छ र बुझ्न पनि अलि गाह्रो नै हुन्छ तर कहिलेकाहीँ मलाई मज्जा पनि लाग्छ । आफ्नै घरबाट कक्षा लिँदा आराम गर्दै पनि लिन पाइन्छ । विद्यालयमा जस्तै नियमहरूको पालन गर्नु पर्दैन र जीवनमा यसभन्दा पहिला कहिले अनुभव गर्न नपाएकाे कुरा पनि अहिले गर्न पाइएको छ । यो वर्षभन्दा पहिला सधैँ विद्यालय गएर पढ्नुपर्थ्यो, परीक्षा पनि भाैतिक उपस्थितिमा दिनुपर्थ्यो तर अहिले हामीले अनलाइनबाट परीक्षा दिने अनुभव पनि गर्न पायाैँ । पहिला पहिला 'जुम', 'गुगल मिट' जस्ता नामहरू सुनिएको पनि थिएन तर अहिले त्यसमै गएर पढ्नु परिरहेको छ । त्यसैले मलाई अनलाइनबाट पढ्न पनि निक्कै रमाइलो लगिररहेको छ । अनलाइन कक्षा हुँदा बिहान कलेज जानलाई जस्तो छिटो उठ्नु पनि पर्दैन तर कहिलेकाहीँ साथीहरू, शिक्षकहरू र मेरो कलेजको निक्कै याद आउँछ तर यही कुरा गाउँका विद्यार्थीहरूको बारेमा सोच्दा एकदमै दुख लाग्छ । हाम्रो लागि यहाँ रमाइलो छ तर त्यहाँ केही विद्यार्थीहरूका घरमा वाइफाई नहोला, अनलाइन कक्षा लिन ल्यापटप नहोला त्यसैले यो कोरोना छिट्टै समाप्त होस् र सबै फेरि पहिलाजस्तै होस् ।

अनलाइन कक्षाका निकै बेफाइदाहरू पनि छन् तर आहिले यस्तो महामारीको कारण यसबाहेक अरू केही उपाय नै छैन । त्यसैले अनलाइन कक्षा भए पनि राम्ररी यसको प्रयोग गर्नुपर्छ । हामीले यस्तो समयमा सकारात्मक सोच्नुपर्दछ र यो परिस्थितिको सामना गर्नुपर्छ ।

कालो कोठाको त्यो सानो कुनामा गुटुमुटु भएर बसिरहेको थिएँ । कतैबाट पनि मेरो मनलाई चित्त बुझेको थिएन । मेरो मन आत्तिएको थियो, डराएको थियो । कति कति बेला कुनै अग्लो ठाउँबाट तल खसेको जस्तो लाग्थ्यो र कुनै बेला यस्तो लाग्थ्यो कि मलाई केही कुराले थिचिरहेको छ, जसबाट म बाहिर निस्किन सकेको छैनँ l मेरो वरिपरि केही थिएन, थियो त केवल अन्धकार l बिस्तारै म उठेर त्यो सानो कुनाबाट अलिकति अगाडि बढेँ । १/२ पाइला अगाडि बढेपछि सानाे दुलोबाट एउटा उज्यालोको प्रकाश आयो । मैले कसो कसो गरी त्यो कोठाको ढोकासम्म पुगेर ढोका खोलेँ  l ढोकाकाे पछाडि एकदम अचम्मको दृश्य थियो l त्यो ढोका मेरो घरको छतको ढोका रहेछ l मेरो घरको छतमा मान्छेको हुल थियो मानौँ दसैँ नै थियो । केही समय त्यो दृश्यलाई हेरेर म त्यो हुलमा मिसिन पुगेँ l अचानक मेरो हातबाट एउटा मान्छे छतबाट खस्यो l

यो घटना कसरी भयो भन्ने मसँग कुनै पनि जवाफ थिएन l यो घटना भइसकेपछि सबैजना मेरो विरुद्धमा लागे । म पुरै होसमा थिइनँ l अचानक सबैजनाले मलाई आक्रमण गर्न थाले । म आत्तिएर त्यो ठाउँबाट भागेँ l कसो कसो गरी मूल सडकसम्म निस्किएँ । बाहिरको दृश्य पनि एकदमै अनौठो थियो । मलाई कुनै कुरा पनि सामान्य जस्तो लागिरहेको थिएन l अचानक मलाई ती अघिका मान्छेले फेरि लखेट्न थाले । म चिच्याउँदै आत्तिँदै भाग्न थालेँ । कतैबाट मेरो कानमा ‘कबु ! कबु !’ भनेर आवाज आयो । म सपनाबाट बिउँझेँ । मेराे जिउभरि पसिनैपसिना थियो र मन एकदम डराएको थियो l

निद्राबाट बिउँझिएपछि मैले त्यो सपनाबाहेक अरू केही सोच्नै सकिनँ । मैले त्यसभन्दा पहिला कहिले पनि त्यस्तो किसिमको सपना देखेको थिइनँ । त्यो सपनालाई लिएर ममा एकदमै उत्सुकता बढ्यो । मलाई अझै त्यो सपनाको बारेमा जान्न मन लाग्यो l मैले यो सपनाको बारेमा अनुसन्धान गर्दा आफ्नो बारेमा कालो सत्य थाहा पाएँ l मैले आफूले आफूमाथि नियन्त्रण गुमाउँदै रहेछु, जीवनको बाटोबाट हराइरहेको रहेछु l

Nothing is good or bad in the world, our thinking makes it so. This mighty remark made by William Shakespeare the emperor of English drama is absolutely right in the case of science.  Science is neither a curse nor a blessing. it’s fully up to us how we use it.

Science has brought a modern and improved lifestyle and gifted creative change to us.  Innumerable wonders done by science are seen in every route and path of life. Science has given us speed, luxury, comfort zone, satisfaction, achievement, and a safe life. Countless inventions and discoveries made in the realm of science have made human life worth living.

Science has given care to all incurable diseases. Science has provided us each and every productive facility. People are planning to make mars as earth and it is possible with the help of science and technology. The electricity and countless electronic devices provide us entertainment and enjoyment.

However, science is no exception to its mighty drawbacks. Machines perform our works which makes us lazy, unhealthy, and parasites. At the same time, they are the causes of unemployment which ultimately leads society towards poverty, crime and chaos. Worst of all, atom bombs, rockets, and other harmful scientific human devices were used in the war killing millions of people within a second. So, they are the real causes of carnage. Because of this fact, one of the scholars said, “science is an angel in peace but a devil in war”.

At last, our ills are not only due to science, it is its misuse that has created unthinkable havoc. Therefore, the intelligent and reasonable use and control of scientific inventions is a boon to humanity whereas its wrong use is a grievous affliction. 

I recently had an idea of going somewhere around Kathmandu and capturing some random moments.Kathmandu valley without a doubt is a terrific place when it comes to photography but I wanted to try somewhere and something different.So, me and my friend thought of going to Sankhu, an ancient Newari town located in north eastern - corner of Kathmandu.While walking down the streets of Sankhu Bazar we had this incredible moment to encounter: a middle aged newari mom. We saw her sitting down on her balcony and told her to smile.She indeed gave an innocent and adorable smile and this is where things took a turn. She came down properly dressed  and wanted more of her photos to be clicked. Being frankly honest we enjoyed every moment, the typical front yard of her newari house was not a yard anymore , it was her stage and she was the main role there. She was a perfect example of how you should live your life and make each moment count.Now the thing that got me in the feels was - we both were a complete stranger to each other , it was our first time there in Sankhu and due to the turn of events we face in life we met. Two strangers who had no idea about the existence of each other now have that little piece of memory about each other and I guess this is what makes the  world a beautiful place to live in.
She taught us a lot of positive things within that short period of time we had.
