One Saturday, we got ready and went to Chandragiri in our uncle's car. We were all so excited for the trip. We bought many snacks to eat on the way. We reached there at 1:00 pm and got tickets for the cable car. The view from the cable car was awesome! We could see the whole Kathmandu valley and Bhaktapur District. We captured pictures of beautiful scenery. 

It took a bit to reach the top of the hill.It was so cool and fresh on the top. First we visited a temple, explored the place and ate yummy momos at a restaurant, and took lots of pictures. There was a statue of Prithvi Narayan Shah, and we took pictures with it. We also clicked some photos of the big mountains like Annapurna and Manaslu.

My uncle and dad tried some fun things like free fall and swing. I was also interested to do that but I got scared and did not try that.  It looked so cool! After all the fun, we came back home in the cable car and reached our place around 5:00 pm. It was a really great day!

 सेलरोटी मिठाइ खान्छाैँ

१ हप्तामा सात दिन हुन्छन् ।  सात दिनमा सात ओटा वार पर्दछन् । आइतवार, साेमवार, मङ्गलवार, बुधवार, बिहीवार, शुक्रवार र शनिवार । यी सात ओटा वारमध्ये मलाई सबैभन्दा मनपर्ने वार भनेकाे शनिवार हाे । हप्ताभरिकाे प्याराे लाग्ने दिन हाे शनिवार किनभने शनिवार छुट्टी हुन्छ, स्कुल जानु पनि पर्दैन । शनिवार त मेरा बुबाआमाकाे पनि  छुट्टी हुन्छ । उहाँहरूलाई  पनि त मलाई झैँ शनिवार आउँदा रमाइलाे लाग्छ हाेला नि । म शनिवार ढिलासम्म सुत्छु । उठेपछि भान्सामा गएर आमालाई  खाना बनाउन सहयाेग गर्छु । शनिवार मैले बाबाआमासँग बसेर खाना खान्छु । गमलामा पानी पनि हाल्छु । आफ्नाे परिवारसँग समय बिताउन पाउँदा मलाई रमाइलाे लाग्छ । शनिवारकाे दिन म कहिले काहीँ आफन्तकाे घरमा जान्छु । कहिले काहीँ नाच्ने, गाउने र सिनेमा हेर्ने पनि गर्छु । शनिवारका दिन मेरा बुबाआमाले मलाई रमाइलाे ठाउँमा घुमाउन लैजानुहुन्छ त्यसैले त म शनिवार कहिले आउला भनेर कुर्छु । 

I love the green plants growing on the ground,

And the birds chirping, their sweet sounds all around.

I can’t even describe the beauty of her,

I know that nature is my second mother.

Oh! How she controls so many things,

Even royals bow down to her,like the queens and kings,

A queen or a god, that’s what she is,

We just nod at whatever she says.

Nature is so beautiful to see!

With cute bumblebees buzzing happily and free.

कुलमान घिसिङ विशेष व्यक्तित्व भएका मानिस हुन् । उनी हामी नेपालीहरूका लागि विशेष हुन् किनकि उनले नेपालको ठुलो लोडसेडिङ अन्त्य गरेका छन् । उनी विद्युत  प्राधिकरणमा कार्यकारी निर्देशक हुनुभन्दा अगाडि नेपालमा दिनमा १८ घण्टासम्म पनि लोडसेडिङ हुन्थ्याे । त्यतिबेला नेपालीहरूलाई धेरै गाह्राे थियाे । विद्यार्थीहरूले भनेकाे समयमा पढ्न पाउदैनथे । कलकारखाना चल्न पाउँदैनथ्याे । नेपालीहरूका दैनिक जीवन निकै जटिल थियाे । उनी नेपाल विद्युत प्राधिकरणका कार्यकारी निर्देशक पदमा नियुक्त भएपछि २०७३ चैतदेखि लोडसेडिङ अन्त्य गरे । त्यतिमात्र होइन उनले सबैभन्दा बढी नाफा कमाउने कार्यालय बनाए । उनको जन्म रामेछापको गाउँमा भएको थियो । उनले गाउँमा नै कक्षा ५ सम्म पढे । त्यसपछि उनी काठमाडौँमा आएर पढे । उनी कक्षामा सधैँ प्रथम हुन्थे । उनले आफ्नो पढाइ सकेपछि इन्जिनियरको जागिर खाए । उनले कामका साथै पढाइलाई पनि एकसाथ लगे । यसरी उनी प्राधिकरणको कार्यकारी निर्देशक भए । उनले सारा नेपालीलाई उज्यालो दिए । अझै पनि उनी यसमा नै काम गर्दैछन् ।

I visited Disneyland when I had gone to France. It was a wonderful experience. The place looked so beautiful. I was very happy to be there. I had been seeing Disneyland only in the movies and pictures. Visiting the place in real life made me feel like I was one of the characters in a movie. 

There were many fun games to play. I enjoyed the rollercoaster ride. I also did some horse riding. I saw many Disney characters too. 

I hope to visit the place again.

मलाई मन पर्ने खेल फुटबल हो । फुटबल सबैभन्दा प्रसिद्ध खेल हो । यस खेलमा ११ जनाको दुई वटा समूह हुन्छ । जुन समूहले अर्को समूहभन्दा धेरै गोल हान्छ त्यो समूहले नै त्यो खेल जित्छ । यस खेलमा खेलाडीहरूका फरक फरक पोजिसनहरू हुन्छन् । जस्तैः मिडफिल्डर, स्ट्राईकर, डिफेन्डर, गोलकिपर, अट्याकर, राईट विन्ग, लेफ्ट विन्ग आदि । यस खेल युरोप, दक्षिण अमेरिका र अफ्रिकामा छ तर यसको प्रभाव उत्तर अमेरिका र एसियामा बढ्डै गएकाे छ । यो खेल २०० ‍‍‍देशहरूबाट २५० मिलियन जना मान्छेहरू खेल्छन् । यो खेल चीनबाट सुरु भएको थियो । यस खेलमा वर्ल्ड कप, च्याम्पियन्स लिग, प्रिमियर लिग, आदि जस्ता अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय प्रतियोगिता हुन्छन् । सबैभन्दा पहिलो वर्ल्ड कप १९३० उरुग्वेमा भएको थियो । त्यस वर्ल्ड कप उरुग्वेले नै जित्यो । वर्ल्ड कप आठ वटा देशहरूले मात्र जितेका छन् । ब्राजिलले ५ वटा, इटाली र जर्मनीले ४ वटा, अर्जेन्टिनाले ३ वटा, फ्रान्स र उरुग्वेले २ वटा र इङ्ल्यान्ड र स्पेनले १ एउटा वर्ल्ड कप जितेका छन् । मेस्सी, रोनाल्डो, नेमार जुनियर, आदि सबैभन्दा प्रसिद्ध खेलाडी हुन् ।

My name is Drishtanta Raj Sapkota. I am ten years old. I live in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu..  I have four members in my family; my parents, my elder brother and me. My father’s name is Dinesh Raj Sapkota, my mother’s name is Hira Sapkota and my brother’s name is Dikshanta Sapkota. 

I study in Sifal School in grade 4. I study many subjects in school but I love reading English. I also play many games at school with my friends. I like drawing during my free time. I also like watching movies.

The drama teaching school, Lalabala, organised an international festival where different countries showcased their acts. It was not a competition; it was a festival. Our school participated alongside countries like France, Poland, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Slovakia. The festival, organised by Lalabala's chairman, Tanka Chaulagain, took place at Swasti Sri Gurukul IB World School, an impressive institution with a futsal ground, basketball court, and an indoor heated swimming pool. The main building stood six floors high.

Our school had prepared an act for the Drama Night a year ago, and we decided to perform the same act at the festival. The day before our performance, we had a rehearsal at Swasti Sri Gurukul. My mother and grandmother were coming to see me act, and, coincidentally, it was my birthday on the day of the festival.

On the festival day, our teacher, Rajan sir, gathered us at the elementary school at 7 a.m. There, we changed into our costumes and practised our act with sound. We headed to Swasti Sri Gurukul at 9 a.m. The journey was quite long, and our performance was scheduled for 11 a.m.

After our act, many people approached me for photos. We went downstairs and played futsal for a while before going to a restaurant for lunch. After eating, we returned to watch other shows. First, we watched Slovakia's drama titled 'Sadness for John Lennon.' Their act portrayed a bullet believed to be the strongest thing in the world, but John Lennon's songs were depicted as even stronger. The drama concluded with John Lennon's famous song, "Imagine."

Next was Nepal's drama titled 'Saili Barai,' depicting the story of a 15-year-old Dalit boy who died at the hands of the police. It was the most intense act I had ever seen.

After the act, we attended the medal and certificate distribution ceremony, where small statues of Buddha were also given. Once the distribution concluded, we returned to the elementary school. My friends called their parents, and Rajan sir dropped me home, where I celebrated my birthday party!

हरेक वर्ष आउने एउटा ठुलो चाडपर्व दसैँ हो । दसैँकाे मलाई मन पर्ने दिन चाहिँ नवमीको दिन हो । किनकि त्यो दिनमा मेरो पूजा हुन्छ । यो दिनमा कुमारी अर्थात् किशोरी कन्याको पूजा गरिन्छ। कुमारी भनेकाे दुर्गा माताको स्वरुप हुन्। मलाई यो दिनमा कुमारी मानेर मेरी आमा र मेरा तीन जना हजुरआमाहरूले पूजा गर्नुहुन्छ। त्यत्ति मात्र होइन, मलाई पूजा गरेपछि उहाँहरूले नयाँ लुगा, दक्षिणा र अरु सामग्री उपहारमा दिनुहुन्छ। दिनभरि मैले मिठो मिठो खानेकुरा पाउँछु। यो दिनमा मलाई सबैले धेरै  मान गर्नुहुन्छ। मैले यो दिन गाली पनि खादिनँ । सबैले धेरै माया गर्नुहुन्छ । तर बिहान चाँडै उठ्नु परेर मलाई अल्छी लाग्छ। ठाउँ ठाउँमा जानु परेर मलाई थकाइ पनि लाग्छ। तर जे भएपनि आफूलाई देवीलाई जस्तै गरी जल, फूल, अक्षता, अबिर, केसरी, जौ, तिल सहित नैवेद्य वस्त्र चढाएर गरिने पूजाको अनुभव एकदमै रमाइलो र मेरा लागि अविरस्मणीय हुन्छ।

हरेक वर्ष मेरो विद्यालयले डियरवाक सिफल नाइट कार्यक्रमकाे आयोजना गर्छ । सिफल नाइट कार्यक्रमकाे लागि केही दिन अगाडिदेखि नै प्राक्टिस सुरु हुन्छ ।  नाटक, नृत्य, , योग,  तेक्वान्दो सङ्गीत जस्ता थुप्रै कुरामा  विद्यार्थीहरूले आफ्नाे प्रस्तुति दिन्छन्  । म चाहिँ धेरै जसो नाटकमा छनाेट हुन्छु । मेराे नाटकमा अभिनय गर्ने कला एकदमै राम्राे छ भनेर सबैले भन्नुहुन्छ । सिफल नाइटमा धेरै रमाइलो हुन्छ । सिफल नाइटभन्दा  अघिल्लाे दिन चाहिँ रिहल्सल पनि  हुने गर्छ । रिहल्सलमा पुरै दिन पढाइ  हुँदैन । दिनभरि प्राक्टिस हुन्छ । सिफल नाइटको दिन हामी आआफ्नो पोसाक लगाएर मेकअप गरेर तयार भई कक्षामा गएर  बस्छौँ । हामीले त्यो दिन खाजाका रूपमा  स्यानविज  र केही फलफूल पनि पाउँछौँ । हामीले आफ्नो पालोअनुसार पालो आएपछि मञ्चमा गएर आफ्नाे प्रस्तुति दिने गर्दछौँ । हाम्रा अभिभावकहरू पनि सिफल नाइटमा हाम्राे प्रस्तुति हेर्न आउनुहुन्छ ।  विद्यालयले डियरवाक सिफल नाइट कार्यक्रम वर्षमा दुईपटक आयाेजना गर्दछ ।

We experience different weather throughout the year. Someday it's windy, some day sunny, rainy and sometimes, we experience different weather in a single day too. 

People like checking weather on the internet to make sure they meet their needs depending upon what weather they are likely to experience that day. Weather affects lives in many different ways. From what we wear, what we eat, what we grow in our garden. There are different devices that help the experts detect the upcoming weather. It is very rare that the detection goes wrong. There are weather satellites that monitor Earth from space. 

Generally, people in particular regions experience similar weather from year to year based on the seasons. This regular pattern of weather over extended periods of time is called the region's climate.
