तिमीले हिँडेका पाइलाहरू

नेपाल बन्द हामीलाई कुनै नयाँ कुरा होइन । सन् १९९० मा बहुदलीय जनवाद स्थापना भएसँगै बन्द हडताल हुन थालेको थियो । नेपाल कम्युनिस्ट पार्टीले आफ्नो असन्तुष्टि जनाउन सुरु गरेको बन्द हडताल आज पनि अभ्यासमा छ । बन्दको बेला धेरैजसो बाटामा गाडीहरू चल्न नदिने, विद्यालयहरू बन्द रहने गर्दछन् । यसले गर्दा देशको आर्थिक अवस्थामा निकै प्रभाव पर्दछ ।

बन्द हडतालको धेरै प्रभाव कम आम्दानी भएका मानिसहरूलाई पर्दछ, जसलाई दैनिक जीविका चलाउन गार्हो पर्दछ । बन्दले गर्दा विद्यार्थीहरूले पनि आफ्नो पढ्ने अधिकार गुमाउनु परेको छ । यसले स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रमा पनि धेरै समस्या ल्याउँछ किनकि स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्राप्त गर्न चाहने मानिस सवारी साधनको अप्राप्यताका कारण गम्भीर रूपमा प्रभावित हुन्छन् र बिरामीहरूलाई बोकेर अस्पताल लग्न बाध्य हुन्छन् । यसका कारण गर्भवती महिला, घाइते, अपाङ्ग, वृद्ध र कमजोर व्यक्तिहरू बाटामै मर्दछन् ।

जब हडतालहरू केही दिनका लागि लम्बिन्छन्, देशको आर्थिक अवस्थामा ठुलो क्षति पुग्दछ । साना पसलहरूदेखि सेयर बजारहरूसम्मा यसले क्षति पुग्दछ । यसका अतिरिक्त यस्ता बन्द र हडतालले अनिश्चितता र अप्रत्यासितता सिर्जना गरेर लगानीकर्ताहरूलाई निरुत्साहित गर्छन् ।

Women are equally important in society as men are. They're the pillars of the country and also the world further. Seeing the present data of the world, half of the ladies are functioning from morning to evening and fulfilling their family’s basic needs. But we board a society where only men are considered to be good. If a person works all day, all of them see and praise his toil but when a lady works the entire day, nobody notices her and her diligence. Both the male and female should be seen and treated equally not on their gender but on the content of their character.

In the 21st century, in rural areas of Nepal, daughters aren't allowed to go to school rather are forced to interact only in household activities. Also in the name of God, daughters are being offered in temples, which is known as Deuki Pratha. The subsequent superstitious belief is Chhaupadi pratha. During menstruation, they're tortured to remain in an exceedingly small temporary house which is made up of hay, rather than taking care of her in such bad situations, they’re not allowing them to enter their house. They don’t even allow to touch the lights/diyos and luxuriate in Festivals. This is totally an ill-practice in our society.

Finally, nowadays, many of us have started realizing the importance of females in society. Even those who are accustomed to old superstitious beliefs have also started sending their daughters to varsities for her education which positively affects our society and nation. Besides managing household works, women also are engaging themselves within the service sector like banks, hospitals, airlines, schools, and other possible work fields. Similarly, they need to start showing interest in putting in their own business. To mention, they're showering excellent outcomes in various areas like sports, education, literature, science, business and health sectors.

Creating awareness programs and educating the comminity are some of the common steps taken by the people to eradicate these kinds of social problems in our society. A girl must have equal opportunities as compared to a boy. They have to be respected and never be discriminated against in terms of their gender. Their choices and perspectives must be looked upon as they're the backbone of the country. A girl doesn't only bring competition into the work field but also helps within the collaboration of ideas and execute teamwork correctly. They assist in bringing a perspective that values an open economy, modern, and social organisation.

In this way, women play an important and vital role in our society. They exert themselves just to form their family and youngsters happy. Therefore they must have freedom in whatever she does and should be restricted within four walls of the house. We should always remember the contribution of female leaders and have a positive attitude towards women.

We all know what overpopulation means, simply it is an increment in the number of people. These days human beings are confined or living in much-facilitated places. This is due to the Urbanisation and industrial development being centered within urban areas only, resulting in overpopulation in most of the developing countries more than the developed countries. In this modern life, we all want to live a happy life and luxurious life too. So, we move to the facilitated places and start living there. This is an issue of this whole world. Taking an example of Mongolia we can see half of the population residing only in two big cities. I think Overpopulation is mainly caused by a lack of development in all places. As we can see development is only seen in urban areas. Urban areas are getting much more urbanized and rural areas are getting much more ruralized. Personally, I can feel that development is seen only in urban places and no facilities are provided to any rural place in the context of Nepal. The effect of overpopulation is very destructive. It is damaging various aspects. 

Overpopulation is creating a lot of pollution and also degrading the environment as well. It is one of the main causes of global warming. Our natural resources are diminishing and our future generations will not be able to use these natural resources. It is also creating a shortage in the facilities, opportunities, and many more things. Due to overpopulation, lots of diseases are spreading and impacting the whole world. It is affecting, directly and indirectly, not only the human population but also the whole habitat around the globe.

This centered population issue can only be solved by equal distribution of the development and population. Also, facilities should be provided to all the places. Here, Education plays a vital role in solving this problem. Everyone should be aware

of the consequences of overpopulation and more focused on decentralization.

एकादेशमा राम भनने एउटा सानो मान्छे थियो । उसको धेरै कुरा गर्ने इच्छा थियो तर उसको आफ्नो उचाइले गर्दा उसले केही गर्न सकेन । उसको धेरै दुखी थियो । ऊ दिनदिनै रुँदै बस्थ्यो, याे सोच्दै कि "किन मलाई नै यस्तो हुनुपर्थ्यो ? किन म ?? किन यस्तो हुनु परेकाे मलाई नै ?" तर उसले भन्यो, "जस्तो भए पनि जे भए पनि म आफ्ना सबै इच्छा पुरा गर्छु । म यत्तिकै हार मान्दिनँ ।  म जस्तो भए पनि गर्छु । प्रयास नगरेसम्म केही थाहा हुँदैन, त्यसैले म ज भए पनि गर्छु ।" 

 

उसलाई एउटा सफल मान्छे बन्नु थियो । उसको इच्छा  एउटा पाइलट बन्नु थियो । उसलाई बच्चादेखि नै हेलिकप्टर उडाउने इच्छा थियो तर उसको पाइलट बन्ने परीक्षामा उसको उचाइले गर्दा उसलाई लिइएन । ऊ धेरै निरास थियो तर उसले केही गर्न सकेन । उसले सोच्यो, "ल, मेरो जिन्दगी सकियाे, अब म के गर्न सक्छु ?  मेरो सपना यत्तिकै सिद्धियो ।" यस्तै कुराहरू साेच्दै ऊ निरास बन्याे तर बच्चामा उसले सोचेको जस्तो फेरि उसले त्यो कुरा याद गरेर अगाडि बढ्छु भनेर फेरि मिहिनेत गर्न थाल्यो । उसले दिनदिनै धेरै मिहिनेत गर्यो । उसले सबै फेरि सिक्यो र अभ्यास गर्यो ।  उसले आफ्नो उचाइ बढाउन खोज्यो तर केही उसकाे केही सिप लागेन, उसको उचाइ बढेन ।  तर ऊ फेरि परीक्षा दिन गयो । उसलाई फेरि परीक्षा दिलाउन सुरुमा काेही मानेनन् तर उसको पाइलट बन्ने दृढ सङ्कल्प देखेर त्यहाँका पदाधिकारीहरूले अन्त्यमा उसलाई परीक्षामा सहभागी गराए ।  सबैजना ऊजस्तै मिहिनेती बन्न मन गर्थे र धेरैले उसले मिहिनेत गरेको देखेर उसलाई सहयोग पनि गर्थे । 

 

३ वर्ष भइसक्दा पनि उसको दृढ सङ्कल्प घटेन । उसले धेरै प्रयास गर्यो तर पनि उसलाई सफलता मिलेन । ऊ धेरै निरास र शक्तिहीन भयो । जे गरे पनि मेरो मिहिनेतले काम गरेन,  जति गरे पनि सबै अन्तिममा बेकार भयो भन्ने साेचेर उसलाई यस संसारमा जिउन मन लागेन र अन्तिममा उसले यो संसार छोडेर गयो । 

 

जीवनमा जति गरे पनि आफ्नो सीमा हुन्छ ।  कुनै पनि मान्छेले त्यो सीमा पार गर्न धेरै मिहिनेत गर्नुपर्छ तर जति गरे पनि त्यो सीमा पार गर्न सकिएन भने चरम निराशामा मान्छेकाे जीवन बित्छ । त्यसैले हामीले जे गरे पनि समयसँगै चल्नुपर्छ र समस्यादेखि कहिल्यै हार मान्नुहुन्न नत्र जीवनमा धेरै पछुतो हुन्छ अथवा पछुताउनका लागि जीवन नै बाँकी नरहन पनि सक्छ । 

प्रकृतिले पृथ्वीमा जीवन धान्नको लागि महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्दछ । आजभोलि पृथ्वीको वातावरणमा धेरै समस्या देखा परेको छ । मानिसकै बेवास्ताका कारण पृथ्वीको वातावरण दिनानुदिन बिग्रिँदै गएको छ । वातावरणको स्वच्छतामा गिरावट आउँदा मानिस मात्र नभई पुरा प्राणी जगत्‌लाई नै असर पार्दछ ।  पृथ्वीको  वातावरण बिग्रिनुको कारण  प्रदूषण, जलवायु परिवर्तन, ग्रिन हाउस ग्यास आदि हुन् । मानिसको लापरबाहीले गर्दा नै आज वातावरणमा समस्या देखा परेको हो ।    यदि वातावरणलाई बचाउन सकिएन भने पृथ्वीमा कुनै पनि जीवित रहन सक्दैन । आहिलेको समयमा भूमण्डलीय उष्णता र वायुमण्डलमा परिवर्तन नै सबैभन्दा ठुलो समस्या हो । यी समस्याहरूले अन्य समस्या निम्त्याउँछन्, जस्तैः विकिरणमा वृद्धि, रोगहरू फैलिने, माटाको आम्लीयपन बढाउने, हिमनदी पग्लिने आदि । यदि यी समस्याहरू समयमै नियन्त्रणमा ल्याएइनन् भने सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌कै सर्वनास हुन सक्छ । आजका दिनहरूमा वातावरणीय मुद्दाहरू चिन्ताको विषय हो । प्रदूषण स्तरको वृद्धि र ओजोन तह पातलिँदै जाँदा विश्वका सबै देशहरू वातावरणका बारेमा चिन्तित छन् । यो समस्यालाई गम्भीरतासाथ लिनुको कारण यही हो कि वातावरणीय गिरावटले मानवजातिको अस्तित्वलाई खतरामा पार्दछ । पहिले कसैलाई पनि वातावरणको ख्याल र चिन्ता गर्न जरुरी लागेन । मानिसहरू आफ्नो वरिपरिको वातावरणलाई ध्यान नदिई  लापरबाही गर्थे तर अब बढ्दो सचेतनाका साथ धेरै जना सतर्क भइसकेका छन् ।   आजको सबैभन्दा मुख्य वातावरणीय मुद्दा भनेको भूमण्डलीय उष्णता हो । भूमण्डलीय उष्णता भनेको पृथ्वीको तापक्रममा वृद्धि हुनु हो र यो सबै प्राकृतिक स्रोतको अत्यधिक प्रयोगका कारण भएको हो । यसले अन्य वातावरणीय मुद्दाहरूलाई निम्त्याउँछ, जस्तैः तापक्रमको वृद्धि, माटाको क्षरण र अम्लीय वर्षा । हामी सबै जान्दछौँ कि मानवले अक्सिजन लिन्छ र कार्बनडाइअक्साइड फाल्छ । त्यस्तैगरी बोटबिरुवाले कार्बनडाइअक्साइड लिन्छन् र अक्सिजन दिन्छन् । वन फँडानीको कारण वातावरणमा रुख र बोटहरूको सङ्ख्यामा कमी आएको छ । त्यसकारण वातावरणमा कार्बनडाइअक्साइड लिने थोरै बोटबिरुवाहरू रहेका छन् । कार्बनडाइअक्साइड कारखानाबाट पनि वातावरणमा फैलिन्छ । अधिक कार्बनडाइअक्साइडले सास फेर्न र भविष्यमा अन्य समस्याहरू पनि  निम्त्याउन सक्छ ।   अत: अबदेखि मानिस आफैँ वातावरणको अवस्थाका बारे सतर्क हुनुपर्दछ । प्रकृति र मानव जातिलाई फाइदा पुर्‍याउने गतिविधिहरू सबैले गर्नुपर्छ । हामी सबैले आफ्नो वातावरण संरक्षण गरी सुरक्षित राख्नुपर्छ । 

An idea that often comes to one individual's mind after hearing the topic is either WW1 or WW2. Everyone has either read or heard about World Wars. We all know about who started the war or why was it started or its effects, pros, and cons, etc. What we don't know is what must have happened to the people during that era. About the internal strife, the public was facing rather than the so-called bits and pieces of information regarding the battlefield. Coming to the point, The Pianist is a 2002 biographical war drama film that was produced and directed by Roman Polanski. This story revolves around a famous Jewish composer and pianist, Władysław Szpilman. The movie is based upon his life story from when WW2 started and ended.

 

Starring Adrien Brody as the main character in the film, this movie tells us about how the Jewish people in Warsaw, specifically around Poland were the targets of persecution and merciless killings of Germans. Getting moved from one area to another, the Polish Jewish, in the name of sending them to their own private area were slowly thinned out from a population of 1 million to nearly only 50-60 thousand or even less by the time the war ended. Reasons have not been stated but it is believed that Hitler was a believer in Antisemitism, which is hostility to, prejudice, or discrimination against Jews, which stirred the mass killing of the Jewish. Having been closed off to a small area that was only enough to accommodate around 100 Jews, the pianist did not have any sort of adequate services or needs fulfilled for his family. Jewish dying from hunger, the Germans killing them just for fun or new years while recording it with a camera, children and old people getting beaten to death, crimes, civil war, suicides, all sorts of things that a human does when they are pushed to their limits has been shown in the movie. It even shows that there are good and bad people, no matter what their origins or race is.

 

The movie has the right blend of comedy, emotion, sadness, joy mixed in it in perfect harmony, with the mind-blowing performances from the main character, which holds us throughout the movie. It tells us how the main character was able to remain sane even after facing all those things that happened to him and his family, how he kept a stronghold on the will to live, and how he managed to survive for 6 whole years of hiding, running and always being suppressed by the Germans and his own fear for death. All in all, it is a must-watch movie for those who are interested in historical, drama, or war genres.
