सँगै पढ्न गएका,
सँगै बसेर खाएका,
इसारा गर्दै मोनु रसोनुलाई नदिन भनेका

Finally, in 2020, a very stressful year has passed and now here we are 2021. As we come to New Year’s Eve among one of the strangest years ever, it’s time to begin planning for 2021 and of course, make resolutions for the betterment of it. Usually, many people make resolutions but end up as a memory after January. I also make resolutions and break them up but I will try to stick to them this time and change myself. So this year I am sticking to my resolution hope so it will continue after January too rather than to be a memory.
What makes a perfect New Year’s resolution? An idea that shapes and reflects you in a better way can be considered a New Year Resolution. As students, we must always refine our thoughts, cultivate smart habits, and enhance our temperament each year and is also necessary for every student to set a target each year and be capable enough to take each moment to reach the desired and set target. So being a student I will also try to be more productive and materialize my dream as it’s considered a kind of success too. So for this, I have taken some resolutions discussed below.
This year I have resolved to do physical exercise on a daily basis. Although this is the common resolution taken by me at the start of every life. But it ends up in a short period due to my laziness. Anyway, I hope I can continue to stick to this resolution for a long time. After experiencing a very unexpected tough situation last year it’s best to be fit enough just not for fighting with the unpredicted virus or disease but to keep ourselves healthy and live a peaceful life. While I proceed forward in this resolution I got to learn that we can learn and do exercises through different available physical and digital resources.
Then another resolution is time management. Time management creates discipline or vice versa. As a student, time is the most precious thing. If I will rub out time then it will rub out tomorrow. I usually have the habit of not organizing my work properly and therefore end up with incomplete homework and projects. So this year I had planned to be more systematic and organized so that I would be able to complete my work on time and not keep pending, the works assigned to me. So in short form, I have listed out my resolution for time management:
To learn a new thing every day
Get more organized and be innovative
Fix a certain time for sleep and wake up on a daily basis.
To reduce unproductive use of the time
Be more attentive and utilize the time properly.
Enjoy every moment and stay positive
So these are some of the things I have taken into consideration for resolving time management. I will try my best to do it and hope it will continue along. Similarly, after this, my other resolution is to be a good reader and a smart learner. For this, I will read more books, literary works, informative knowledge, and consider learning about intellectual fields. I have decided that I would spend more time reading books that would improve my knowledge and interest in reading. To be a smart learner I think I should be more convenient, straightforward, productive, innovative, and extrovert. Another area that I might wish to improve myself is with the surplus time spent on the web and with gadgets.
Then I feel that another resolution can be to avoid negative thoughts and discard them. Because I think when we get negative results through negative thought, and we fail in each task. So I decided to be positive as I believe that a positive attitude is the mark of a superior personality.
To achieve my preceding resolutions and goals, I will have to bring several changes to my day to day life. According to my opinion, one of the largest causes of procrastination is excessive use of social media particularly Facebook, What’s App, Twitter, etc. except for it, I will also limit the time I pay ahead of the tv. So that the resolution that has been taken can be fulfilled smoothly.
Instead of observing tv to a fault, I will be able to attempt to realize a sport that I favor and play that game to stay fit and sensible. I think that a good student is understood by his behavior and character. I will have to be respectful to my folks, academics, and elders as a result of respecting and obeying elders are counted in courtesy. This is also one of my resolutions.
So above mentioned are some of my resolutions made for this year. Although I shared so many resolutions for this new year made by me, I am not sure that I will stick to them for a longer time. Anyway, I will try to make sure that I follow all the resolutions of this new year for a longer time and change myself for the betterment of my personality of course.
माघे सङ्क्रान्ति हिन्दु धर्मावलम्बीहरू मनाउने एउटा चाड हो । यो चाड माघको एक गते मनाइन्छ । यो चाड जाडो महिनाको बिदाइ र गर्मी महिनाको सङ्केत गर्ने चाड हो । ‘पुस जाडो हाइ हाइ माघ जाडो मुटु खाई’भनेझैँ माघको सुरूवाती दिनमा अत्यधिक चिसो हुन्छ । भित्र मुटु नै छेड्ने गरी जाडो हुने हुनाले यसो भनिएको हुन सक्छ। यो चाड सबै जातजातीको चाड भए पनि माघी पर्व भन्नाले विशेष गरी तराई समुदायमा बस्ने थारू जातिको मुख्य चाडको रूपमा रहेको छ । थारू जातिले माघीलाई विशेषरूपमा मनाउँछन् । नाचगान गर्छन् र आफ्नो मौलिक संस्कृति झल्काउने विभिन्न नृत्यहरू प्रस्तुत गर्छन्।
माघे सङ्क्रान्तिको दिन हिन्दु धर्मावलम्बीहरूले नदी कुवा वा जलाशयमा गई बिहानै स्नान गर्छन् र सूर्यको पूजा र उपासना गर्छन् । हामी पनि माघे सङ्क्रान्तिका दिन धेरै प्रकारका खानेकुराहरू खान्छौँ । तिलको लड्डु, घिउ, चाकु आदि खानेकुराहरू खान्छौँ। यी कुराहरू सूर्य भगवान्लाई चढाउनसमेत उपयुक्त हुने विश्वास गरिन्छ । यी खानेकुराहरूले हाम्रो शरीरमा शक्ति प्रदान गर्छन् । शरीरलाई तातो र बलियो बनाउँछन् ।
Line webtoon or simply webtoon is an app or a site created in 2004 by Jun Koo Kim. It is a website where people read manhwa and manga online. Comics are the stories that are presented through the drawings. Manhwas are comics created in Korea and manga are comics from Japan. In the 1990s and early 2000s, these were really popular and had a big market as the internet and television were not used much. Comics were made into books and people used to wait and buy each part individually because of which it was getting inconvenient because of which webtoons were created. Webtoons are a type of digital comic that originated in South Korea. As digital manhwa has emerged as a popular medium, the print publication of manhwa in South Korea has decreased. The amount of material published in webtoon form has now reached an equal amount as that published offline
This site was originally published in naver.com but never released on global platforms in 2014 AD as Naver is not quite well known in the international market. Kim first created it due to the increasing popularity of manhwa and mangas back in the days and because fewer of them were released, he thought scrolling it in the web browser would be what people would like more. Currently, webtoon is the #1 webcomic app and there are 55 million readers each month. As of July 1, 2019, it gets over 100 billion views each year. Webtoon has hundreds of creators and webcomics. The most popular webtoon is lore Olympics, unordinary, true beauty, let's play, tower of god, freaking romance, save me, age matters, etc. creator on the platform also earn a decent amount of income. Here each page gaining more than 40,000 views earns around $100. It increases even more through advertisements as in 2013 webtoon had created a Profit Page Share program. This compensation program allows artists to get a larger profit through advertisements or their own personal stores but is shared between NHN Corp and the artists themselves. Also, popular webtoons are made into dramas or movies through which creators earn even more.
This webtoon is a really good platform for reading and spending time for the users and a way for artists to publish their work and make money out of it. Since webtoons have a really good international market, creators from all over the world can join it and show off their talent. There are also contests for people to work on.
२०१९/२० लाई फर्केर हेर्दा यस्तो समय फेरि कहिल्यै नआस् जस्तै सबैलाई लाग्छ। २०१९ मा चीनको वुहानबाट सुरु भएको कोविड १९ ले निकै तहस नहस पा-यो। लाखौँ मानिसले अनाहकमा ज्यान गुमाए। विश्व अर्थतन्त्रमा नकारात्मक असर प-यो। नेपाल र नेपालजस्ता अल्प विकसित राष्ट्र विकासको गतिमा निकै पछि धकेलिने निश्चित भइसक्यो।
नेपाली पात्रोअनुसार पुसको महिना थियो । जाडोकाे मौसम नजिकिँदै थियो। हामी कक्षा ९ को अन्तिम परीक्षाको चटारोमा थियौँ । वर्षको अन्तिम परीक्षा दिन बाँकी नै थियो। सबैले अब आउने नयाँ वर्ष र नयाँ कक्षालाई निकै उत्सुकताका साथ लिएका थियौँ । अस्ट्रेलियाको जङ्गलमा आगलागी हँदा करोडाैँ जनावर मरेको समाचार पनि सुन्नु प-याे । केही समयपछि अमेरिका र उत्तर कोरियाबिचकाे टकरावकाे चर्चा पनि सुनियो । यी विश्व घटनाहरू पछि सबैभन्दा नराम्रो समयले डेरा जमाउँदै थियो
काेविड १९ यो शब्दले सबैलाई तर्सायाे । चैतको महिनामा हाम्राे देशले पनि अन्य देशकाे सिकाे गर्दै लकडाउन ग-याे । जेठसम्म त घरबाट बाहिर निस्किन पनि पाइएन वा भनौँ निस्किइएन । विश्वका धेरै मानिसले कोरोनाकै कारण ज्यान गुमाए भने धेरैले रोजगारीसमेत गुमाए । उद्योगधन्दा कलकारखाना व्यापार व्यवसाय सबै ठप्प भए । नेपालमा पनि कैयौँ विद्यालयहरूले शिक्षकलाई तलब दिन सकेनन् । रोजगारीको सिलसिलामा शहर पसेका कैयौँ मानिसहरू यातायातको अभावमा महिनौँ लगाएर पूर्व मेचीदेखि पश्चिम महाकालीसम्म राजधानीदेखि विभिन्न जिल्लामा आ-आफ्नो घर भएको स्थानमा पैदल हिँडेर यात्रा गरे। कतिले भोकभोकै हिँड्नुपर्दा ज्यान पनि गुमाएँ ।
समग्रमा भन्नुपर्दा २०१९बाट सुरुभएको काेराेनाले २०२०लाईसमेत प्रभाव पा-यो । २०२०काे अन्त्यसम्म आइपुग्दा विकसित देशले खोप निर्माण पनि गरे । नेपालमा पनि भर्खर भारतलेको दिएको खाेप आइपुगेकाे छ । आशा गरौँ अब यो काेराेनाकाे भय हराउने छ। विश्व अर्थतन्त्र पुरानै गतिमा फर्किने छ पुनः रोजगारीका अवसरहरू सुचारु हुने छन् ।

Washing machines now take care of our clothing and we can even order food online directly from our fridge, a robot that knows how to cook different food but how cool it is for giant robots. From an anti-robot that could form part of a racing squad to a Russian robot that got fired.

MK II Robot: Robot lovers and creators were well and truly in their element back in January 2015. Megabots partnered up with Autodesk and asked robot makers to create something extra special. But there was a catch, they had to design the armor paneling of miniature Megabots to show a final walking robot would look like, it also had to have reloading left arm cannon and would be shown off at the fair, the results were amazing the creators took the torso shell and right arm of the Megabot Mark II robot and turn it into a full-scale six-ton 15-foot tall robot. It wasn’t just to look pretty either it could drive, stand fire weapons from both arms and even twist its torso. When shown at the maker fair the Mark II robot was a hit. It fired paintball cannons at old cars.
Robot method 2: In 2017 Jeff Bezos got to play with a very expensive robot at amazon’s annual robotic conference, that very expensive robot was Method 2. It was developed and created by Hankook Murray technology, a firm from South Korea and it weighs a total of 1.6 tons. If that’s not eyebrow-raising enough then maybe its price tag will be. It started off costing around 3.96 million dollars the budget is well and truly blown out around 100 million dollars to be honest though we can think why it’s so expensive, it can walk, rotate in a circle, and is controlled remotely by robot engineers. But that's not all, it is the first manmade bipedal that can move 1.5 tons while managing the pilot’s movements, that means that if for example, the pilot moves his or her arm the robot will as well. But some refinement needs to happen before the robot will be let loose on the community. For now, it walks around like a toddler before it tumbles, so it has to be suspended from cables while out in public.
The prosthesis: This is a bit off-topic here but the prosthesis is not a robot but is pretty similar to a robot and probably equally smart. The prosthesis is what you’d call an anti-robot. It has a room for a human inside it and that human is responsible for all the movement of the robot/ anti-robot. But that does not mean it can’t do anything cool, it can tackle all types of terrain at top speeds of around 20 miles per hour and its battery is large enough to power it up to 2 hours. It also has a custom suspension system for a smooth ride and it’s 16.4 feet wide and 13.7 feet tall. It also weighs about 8,000 pounds. The company behind the prosthesis is called “Furion” and they have a big plan not just to build these Exo bionic mechs but to race them.
प्रत्येक वर्ष श्रावण महिनाभरि मनाइने मेला भएकोले यसको नाम श्रावणी मेला भएको हो। विशेषगरी श्रावणका सबै सोमबार शिव मन्दिरहरूमा मेला लाग्दछ। यस मेलालाई ‘बोलबम’ पनि भनिन्छ।सोमबार शिवको प्रिय बार हो। त्यसमा पनि श्रावणका सोमबारको विशेष महिमा रहेको छ । शिवलाई जलधारा प्रिय लाग्दछ। त्यसैले शिव मन्दिरहरूमा शिवमूर्ति वा शिवलिङ्ग माथिबाट जलधारा गराई स्नान गराइन्छ । श्रावण महिनामा सोमबारको जलधारा शिवलाई प्रिय लाग्ने हुँदा शिव भक्तहरुले स्नान गराउँछन् । काठमाडाैँ उपत्यकामा गोदावरीको कुण्डबाट जल बोकेर जुलुस झैँ निकाली बाेलबम शब्द घन्काउँदै ल्याएर काठमाडौँ उपत्यकाको दक्षिणतर्फको पहाडमा अवस्थित सन्तानेश्वर महादेवलाई चढाएर दर्शन गरेमा सन्तान नभएकालाई सन्तान हुने र गर्भवतीले असल सन्तान जन्माउने विश्वास गरिँदै आएको पाइन्छ ।
सन्तानेश्वर मन्दिरलाई सतीदेवीको उपल्लो ओठ पतन भएको स्थान पनि भनिन्छ । त्यस हिसाबले शिवका एक सय आठ पीठ मध्येको याे पनि एउटा शक्तिपीठ हो । ललितपुरको हाडे गाउँबाट पनि त्यहाँ पुग्न सकिन्छ । यस मन्दिरबाट गोदावरीको दुरी झण्डै पाँच किलोमिटर छ । गोदावरी कुण्डबाट पहेँलाे वस्त्र धारण गरी काँधमा जलसहितको घडा बोकी खाली खुट्टा बोलबम भन्दै लगेर सन्तानेश्वर महादेवलाई चढाइन्छ ।
यो बोलबम मेला अर्थात् श्रावणी मेला काठमाडाैँ उपत्यकाकै एक महत्वपूर्ण मेला हो । यस्तै बोलबम मेला भारतकाे बाबाधाममा पनि भव्य रूपमा लाग्ने गर्दछ । केही वर्षदेखि यसले बिकराल रूप लिँदै गएको छ। बोलबम श्रावणी मेला सन्तानेश्वर माध्यममा सिमित छैन । सुन्दरीजलबाट बोलबम बन्दै पीत वस्त्र धारण गरी जल बोकेर ल्याई पशुपतिमासमेत चढाउन थालेका छन् ।

The smugglers allure innocent girls in different ways such as providing a good job, nice clothes, traveling to beautiful cities, or sending them for foreign employment.Due to lack of awareness, being parentless, suffering from domestic violence, the girls are trapped in trafficking. We can control girls trafficking by following ways:
Girls and women should be conscious to be safe from it
Parents should take care of their daughter
Security body should be alert
Child trafficking: Buying and selling of children for different purposes is called child trafficking. It is done with or without the consent of the family. Due to poverty, family tension, carelessness of guardians, etc they fall into the trap of smugglers. We can control Child trafficking by the following method:
Community, guardians, family members, and children themselves should be alert.
Access to education and awareness should be increased
The suffering children should be rescued and rehabilitated
घुम्ने मेचेमाथि अन्धो मान्छे भूपी शेरचनको वि सं २०२५ सालमा साझा प्रकाशनद्वारा प्रकाशित प्रसिद्ध कविता सङ्ग्रह हो । गद्य साहित्यका प्रखर कवि भूपी शेरचनको याे कविता सङ्ग्रह भित्रका सबै कविताहरू उत्कृष्ट छन् । भूपीका यस कविता सङ्ग्रह भित्रका कविताहरूमा राष्ट्रियता मानवतावाद,जीवनका अनेक चोटहरू युद्धबाट पिल्सिएका आमाहरूको,मनको व्यथा, अधुनिकतासँगै हामीले भुल्दै गएका हाम्रा ऐतिहासिक स्तम्भ, सहिदहरूको कथासँगै हाम्रो परनिर्भरताको कथालाई सिमित शब्दमा कविताको माध्यमबाट भूपीले देखाउन खोजेका छन् ।
भूपीका कवितामा सरकारप्रति, समाजप्रति, बेरोजगारीप्रति आक्रोश र समग्रमा एक्लोपन र निराशाको आभास छ | यस सङ्ग्रहमा सङ्गृहित हरेक कविता काव्यात्मक छन्। मार्मिक छन्, विद्रोहात्मक छन् र हरेक कविता आफैमा महाकाव्यभन्दा कम छैनन् | यस कविता सङ्ग्रहमा सङ्गृहित "सधैँ-सधैँ मेरो सपनामा", "हामी" ,"मेरो देश " ,"गलत लाग्छ मलाई मेरो देशको इतिहा", "यो हल्लै हल्लाको देश",जस्ता कवितामार्फत् कविले देश र यहाँका विभिन्न घटनाक्रमप्रतिको आफ्नो धारणा व्यक्त गरेका छन् जुन आजको अवस्थामा पनि निकै नै सान्दर्भिक छ ।
कवि भूपी शेरचनका कविताहरू पढेपछि रगत नतात्ने नेपाली कमै मात्रामा होलान् । ‘घुम्ने मेचमाथि अन्धो मान्छे’ का लागि २०२५ सालमा साझा पुरस्कार प्राप्त गरेका भूपी नेपाली साहित्य क्षेत्रमा फरक पहिचान बनाएका कवि हुन् । भूपीको ‘घुम्ने मेचमाथि अन्धो मान्छेलाई नेपाली साहित्यका सर्वाधिक चर्चित महाकवि देवकोटाको मुनामदन र राष्ट्रकवि घिमिरेको गौरीसँग पनि दाँज्ने गरिन्छ ।
‘घुम्ने मेचमाथि अन्धो मान्छे’का अलावा भूपीका ‘परिवर्तन’, ‘नयाँ झ्याउरे’, ‘निर्झर’ आदि रचनाहरू प्रकाशित छन् । जति जति पढ्दै गयो उति उति मन थर्काउने भूपीका शब्दहरूमा जादु छन्। गम्भीर विषय भए पनि कलात्मक बिम्बहरूले अर्थलाई सरल र खुकुलो बनाएका छन् । यस सङ्ग्रहको मलाई सबैभन्दा मन परेको कविता -

यस कविता सङ्ग्रह भित्रका सबै कविताहरू गहन र ओजपूर्ण छन्। त्यसैले म कविता सङ्ग्रह सिफारिस गर्न चाहन्छु।
The Underarm bowling incident of 1981 occurred on February 1, 1981, when Australia was playing against New Zealand in a One Day International (ODI) cricket match. It was the third of the five-match series in the final of the Benson & Hedges World Series Cup being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This event was legal at that time, but it was against the spirit of the game.
In the final over of the 2nd innings, New Zealand required 7 runs to win, and a six to tie. The Australian captain Greg Chappel asked his brother and bowler, Trevor Chappel, to deliver the last ball underarm, along the ground to tie, requiring the teams to play more matches to decide the series. Bowling’s underarm was within the laws of cricket at the time but against the rules of the Benson and Hedges County Cup Tournament in England, but is regarded as unsportsmanlike. It is not that the Australian team did it suddenly without saying anything, but they pre-informed the umpires that the final ball would be delivered underarm. The series was tied 1-1 with New Zealand winning the first match and Australia in the second match.
The batsman at the non-striker's end, Bruce Edgar, was on 102* not out at the time and his innings have been called "the most overlooked century of all time." The Australian’s were bowling underarm to a NO.10 batsman in Brain McKechnie who would have not been able to hit the ball for a six, even if it was a simple delivery. The New Zealand captain, Geoff Howarth, talked with the umpires that the underarm bowling was illegal, as per the rules in the English tournaments, but nothing happened. The other incident that happened was; Dennis Lilee who was fielding outside the third-yard circle should have been inside the circle. According to the field restrictions, the“underarm” ball should have been called a “no-ball” because of the violation in fielding restrictions. That would have given New Zealand an extra ball to hit and a legal delivery at last to win the match. But that was not called by umpires at all.
After the incident, the then Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rob Muldoon, said that "It was an act of cowardice and I consider it appropriate that the Australian team were wearing yellow". Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Fraser, also called the act "contrary to the traditions of the game". Richie Benaud who was commentating for Channel 9 at that time described the act as "disgraceful" and called it "one of the worst things I have ever seen done on a cricket field".
As a result of this incident, underarm bowling was banned in limited-overs cricket by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as not within the spirit of the game.
