मेरो परिवार सानो छ । मेरो परिवारमा चार जना सदस्य छन् । म, मेरो बुबा, मेरी आमा र मेरो भाइ । मेरो बुबा व्यापारी हुनुहुन्छ । आमा चाहिँ गृहिणी हुनुहुन्छ । म अहिले कक्षा पाँचमा पढ्छु । मेरो भाइ कक्षा युकेजीमा पढ्छ । हामीहरू घरमा रमाएर बस्छौँ । केही समय पढ्छाैँ भने केही समय खेल्छौँ । कहिलेकाहीँ घुम्न पनि जान्छौँ । हामी घरमा परिवारका सदस्यहरू मिलेर खेल खेल्छौँ । हामी सबैले आफूलाई मनपर्ने कुरा गर्छौं । हामी एक अर्कालाई चाहिएको बेलामा मद्दत गर्छौं । मेरा बुबाको र आमाको फरक फरक काम भएपनि हामीसँग समय बिताउनुहुन्छ । मेरा बुबाआमाले छोराछोरीको लागि भनेर धेरै मिहिनेत गर्नुहुन्छ । समय हुँदा मेरो बुबाले आमालाई खाना बनाउनमा पनि सहयोग गर्नुहुन्छ । मेरो परिवारमा मेलमिलापको भावना छ । हामी सबैले आफ्ना कुराहरू साटासाट गर्छाैँ । बुबाआमाले हामीलाई राम्रो विद्यालयमा पढाउनुभएको छ । हाम्रा आवश्यकताहरू पूरा गरिदिनुभएको छ । मैले राम्रो परिवार पाएको छु । मैले मेरो परिवारलाई धेरै माया गर्छु । मलाई मेरो परिवारसँग बस्न धेरै रमाइलो लाग्छ ।
I went to Dakshinkali Temple with my family. We went there by car, and my uncle drove the car. It was raining, and I felt cold. But we had a blanket in the car, so I was able to stay warm. It was a long trip. My family members were enjoying the ride. After a few hours, we reached Dakshinkali. When we reached there, there were a lot of people standing in a line. We also stood in line and waited for our turn. After a few hours, we were able to pray. After the prayer, we were hungry and tired. So we went to Jimbu Restaurant near Dakshinkali and had a good lunch. We rested for a few hours and returned home. Due to heavy traffic, we reached home very late.
During my holidays in Baishakh, my parents and their friends planned a trip to Sunkoshi Beach Resort. When I first heard that we were going to a beach resort, I thought we were going out of the country. When I found out it was in Nepal, just a few kilometres away from Kathmandu, I was quite surprised. I asked my mom how it was possible to have a beach in a landlocked country like Nepal. My mother told me to see for myself.
After a three-hour ride, we finally reached Sunkoshi Beach. As soon as I entered, I saw a swimming pool. I was so excited that I immediately changed into my swimming costume and went into the pool. My parents and their friends followed me. We spent our evening in the pool. I overheard my parents making plans for the next day. They were talking about rafting and hiking. I was more than ready to do both. After dinner, we roamed around the resort and discovered the beach—it had a sandy riverbank! Amazingly, it had the vibes of a real beach. I played with sand for a while, just like on a real beach. We also found many play areas such as carrom board, pool, and table tennis. I enjoyed playing table tennis the most, even though it was my first time playing. I also enjoyed watching kittens playing joyfully with their mother.
The next morning, we woke up early and went hiking to a nearby village on top of the hill. After returning, we had breakfast and were all set to go rafting. It was a nice first-time experience for me riding in the back open part of a pickup truck to the rafting site. At the rafting site, we were given rafting gear like paddles, life jackets, and helmets. Our guide also gave us important safety instructions for rafting. The water was very cold and rushing down the river. I was very excited for my first-ever rafting experience. When we rode down in the raft, there were sudden ups and downs and splashes of water all around us. There was much shouting, laughing, and screaming in our raft. It was so thrilling that I wanted more adventure. However, my rafting journey was over, and we all returned to the resort. I asked my mother if we could stay for one more day and go rafting again. She promised to take me rafting again next year.
Overall, my visit to Sunkoshi Beach Resort was fun and adventurous. There were many 'first times' on this trip. I am looking forward to more such trips with my parents.
हाम्रो देश नेपाल यो सृष्टिकै सुन्दर रचना र रङ्गीविरङ्गी फूलहरूको साझा फूलबारी हो । हाम्रो देश नेपाल सुन्दर अनि शान्त मुलुक हो। नेपाल धर्म, संस्कृति, कला र साहित्यको धनी देश पनि हो। यहाँ बहुसङ्ख्यक जाति, भाषा, धर्म र संस्कृति भएका मानिसहरू बसोबास गर्छन् । त्यसैले नेपाललाई चार जात छत्तिस वर्णको फूलबारी पनि भनिन्छ। यहाँ जडीबुटी र असाध्यै राम्रा फूलहरू पाइन्छन् । हाम्रो देशको राष्ट्रिय पाेसाक दौरासुरुवाल, ढाकाटोपी र गुन्युचाेली हुन् । हाम्रो देशको राष्ट्रिय रङ सिम्रिक, राष्ट्रिय चरो डाँफे, राष्ट्रिय फूल लालीगुराँस, राष्ट्रिय जनावर गाई हाे । यी सबै चिजहरूले हाम्रो देश प्रसिद्ध छ। विश्वको सबैभन्दा ठुलो हिमाल सगरमाथा पनि नेपालमै रहेको छ। शान्तिका दूत गौतम बुद्धको जन्म पनि नेपालमै भएको हो। हामी सबैले हाम्राे देशलाई माया गर्नुपर्छ । हाम्रो देश एउटा धर्मले अर्को धर्मलाई सम्मान गर्ने धार्मिक सहिष्णुता र स्वतन्त्रता भएको राष्ट्र हो।
शब्द, वाक्य, अनुच्छेदलगायत विभिन्न विषयवस्तु छापिएको कागजको समूहलाई किताब भनिन्छ । किताब ज्ञानको भण्डार हो । किताबमा विभिन्न विषयवस्तु समावेश गरिएका हुन्छन् । किताब सानादेखि ठुला आकारसम्मका हुन्छन् । किताब छापाखानामा छापिन्छन् । हामी विद्यार्थीहरूले धेरै विषयका किताब पढ्छौँ । हामीले किताब पढेर धेरै ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्छौँ । आजको आधुनिक समयमा किताब विद्युतीय सञ्चार माध्यमबाट पनि पढ्न सकिन्छ । कुनै किताबमा तस्बिर हुन्छन् भने कुनैमा हुँदैनन् । किताबले हामीमा भएको अज्ञानतालाई हटाएर जीवनमा सही बाटो हिँड्न प्रेरित गर्छ । किताबमा पृष्ठसङ्ख्या लेखिएकाे हुन्छ । आजभोलि त अनेकौँ उपकरणहरूद्वारा किताब अनलाइन मार्फत निःशुल्क र सशुल्क पढ्न र हेर्न सकिन्छ । कुनै किताब पाठ्यक्रमसँग सम्बन्धित हुन्छन् भने कुनै किताब साहित्य क्षेत्रका हुन्छन् । हामी विद्यार्थीहरूले नियमित रूपमा पुस्तक पढ्ने बानी बसाल्नुपर्छ । किताब पढ्दा हामीलाई नयाँ शब्दको ज्ञान हुन्छ । पढ्ने बानी राम्रो हुन्छ । धेरै विषयका बारेमा ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्छौं । किताबहरू पुस्तकालयमा पनि राखिएका हुन्छन् । हामीले आफूलाई काम लाग्ने खालका पुस्तकहरू पढ्नुपर्छ।
Everyone dreams of the perfect vacation, and mine would be an exciting adventure to Pokhara. In this article, I will share why I want to visit this place and what I hope to experience there.
My dream vacation destination is Pokhara because it is known for its stunning natural beauty and serene atmosphere. I have seen pictures and heard stories about its majestic mountains, tranquil lakes, and vibrant culture, which have captivated my imagination. During my dream vacation, I would love to explore Pokhara's iconic landmarks such as Phewa Lake and the World Peace Pagoda. I dream of hiking in the Himalayan foothills, paragliding over the Pokhara Valley, and experiencing the local Nepalese culture and cuisine.
Visiting Pokhara is important to me because it aligns with my interest in nature and adventure. It's a chance to immerse myself in the beauty of the Himalayas, learn about Nepalese traditions, and gain a deeper appreciation for different cultures and landscapes. To make my dream vacation a reality, I would need to research travel arrangements, accommodations, and budgeting. This includes understanding the best times to visit Pokhara and preparing for any cultural differences I might encounter.
In conclusion, my dream vacation to Pokhara represents more than just a trip. It's an opportunity to explore, learn, and create memories that will last a lifetime. I hope that one day I can visit Pokhara and experience everything it has to offer firsthand.
भानुभक्त आचार्यको जन्म वि.सं १८७१ असार २९ गते तनहुँको रम्घा गाउँमा भएको थियो । उहाँको बुबाको नाम धनञ्जय आचार्य र आमाको नाम धर्मावती देवी हो । भानुभक्त आचार्य नेपाली साहित्यका प्राथमिक कालका प्रतिनिधि कवि हुन् । मोतीराम भट्टले उहाँलाई पहिलोपटक नेपाली भाषामा आदिकवि उपाधि दिएका थिए । त्यसैले उहाँलाई आदिकवि भानुभक्त आचार्य पनि भनिन्छ । उहाँले धेरै कृतिहरू लेख्नुभएकाे छ । जस्तैः प्रश्नोत्तरी, भक्तमाला, वधूशिक्षा आदि । भानुभक्तका रचनाहरू नेपाली भाषामा अग्रणी रूपमा रहेका छन् । भानुभक्त अघिका नेपाली कविले नेपाली भाषा साहित्यलाई सरल, सहज र मौलिक रूपबाट प्रस्तुत गर्न सकेका थिएनन् । भानुभक्तको धेरै प्रयासले संस्कृतमा लेखिएको रामायण नेपाली भाषामा अनुवाद भयो । पछि युवा कवि मोतीराम भट्टले भानुभक्तले नेपालीमा अनुवाद गरेको रामायणलाई प्रकाशन गराउनुभयाे । रामायणलाई नेपाली भाषा साहित्यको पहिलो महाकाव्य भनिन्छ । भानुभक्तको सम्झनामा असार २९ गते विभिन्न कार्यक्रम गरी मनाइन्छ । उहाँलाई हामीले सधैँ सम्झिरहनुपर्दछ। उहाँको मृत्यु वि.सं १९२५ साल असोज ६ गते सेतीघाट तनहुँमा भएको थियो ।
पृथ्वीनारायण शाहको जन्म वि.सं. १७७९ मा भएको थियो । उनी नरभूपाल शाह र कौशल्यावती देवीका सुपुत्र हुन् । उनी गोर्खा दरबारमा जन्मिएका थिए । उनलाई नेपालको राज्य निर्माताका रूपमा चिनिन्छ । पाँच वर्षको उमेरमा हुँदा उनले शिक्षा आरम्भ गरे । सानैदेखि उनलाई आफ्नो राज्य गोर्खाको बारेमा चासो लाग्थ्यो । उनका बुबाले नुवाकोट राज्यमाथि आक्रमण गर्दा विजय प्राप्त गरेका थिएनन् । सन् १७४३ मा आफ्नो बुवाको देहावसानपछि २० वर्षको उमेरमा पृथ्वीनारायण शाहले गोर्खाको राजगद्दी सम्हाले । उनी एक प्रभावशाली राजा थिए । आफ्नो राज्यमा बस्ने मानिसहरूसँग उनले आफ्नाे समस्याको कुरा सुनाउँथे त्यसैले त्यस राज्यका मानिसले पृथ्वीनारायण शाहलाई धेरै रुचाउँथे । उनले बाइसे चाैबिसे राज्यलाई जोडेर एउटै विशाल राष्ट्र नेपाल बनाए । पहिला नेपाल बाइसे चाैबिसे राज्यमा विभाजित थियो । पृथ्वीनारायण शाहले सबै राज्यहरूमाथि विजयी प्राप्त गरेर एउटा विशाल राज्य नेपालको स्थापना गरे । त्यसैले उनलाई राष्ट्रनिर्माता भनिन्छ । उनको मृत्यु वि.सं. १८३१ मा नुवाकाेटकाे देवीघाटमा भयो । राजा पृथ्वी नारायण शाहले नेपालको इतिहासमा ठूलो योगदान पुर्याएका छन् ।
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game that is played between two teams. In this game, there are 11 players on each team. It is played in every country in the world. There are so many championships like the ICC T20 World Cup, the ICC World Cup, Test Cricket, etc. There are three umpires in a cricket game. Two umpires are on the field and observe the game as per the cricket rules. One umpire stands at the end where the bowler delivers the ball, and another stands at the square leg. The third umpire helps the other two umpires on the field by checking if the batsman is out or not. Cricket is played for 20 overs or 50 overs. There are six balls in one over. Two countries, the USA and the West Indies, hosted the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024, where India won the trophy by seven runs against South Africa. The player among all who played well is given Man of the Match. There are so many batsmen, like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, etc. There are also so many bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Rabada, etc. There are stumps at two ends of the pitch, and if the ball hits the stump, the batsman will be out. The batman gets out if there is a catch, runs out, and stumbles. There is a wide ball, no ball, a free hit, etc. If the batsman hits the ball and crosses the boundary, then it will be 4 runs, but if it goes by flying and crosses the boundary, it will be 6 runs. In a 20-over game, it is divided into two innings. Each team will bat for 20 overs if they are not all-out. The second team will bat after the first inning is completed and chase the target. If the second team gets the target, then they win; otherwise, they will lose the game. Many people watched ICC men’s T20 cricket recently. Nepal was also selected for the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024. I love to play cricket very much.

The story takes place in several locations: Sheila's house, where she plays hide-and-seek; Tarrytown, where Sheila lives for a couple of months; the swimming pool, where she takes swimming lessons; and Mouse's house, where the girls sneak out to play games and more.
Characters
Sheila: She is a little spoiled, thinks she knows everything, always thinks badly of others but doesn’t tell them, doesn’t admit her weaknesses, and is selfish.
Jennifer: She is a little evil to Sheila and also a bit naughty.
Mumford: He is also a little naughty like Jennifer, but not evil to anyone.
Libby: She remains a good little sister and doesn’t show tantrums, even with Sheila as her older sister.
Sheila's Mother and Father: They are good and responsible parents who take care of the family and some of the people in Tarrytown.
Mouse and Sheila's Friends: They are responsible friends who take care of Sheila and each other.
Marty: He is a good swimming coach, even though he is in college.
Plot
There was a girl named Sheila who was studying in grade 4. Her summer holiday had just started, and she had just arrived at the building where her apartment was. She tried to use the elevator where Henry was, but unfortunately, a person named Peter was also coming. Sheila didn’t have a problem with Peter, but she did have a problem with Peter's dog, Jennifer. Sheila and Jennifer were common enemies. Sheila tried to make some excuses to not let Jennifer in, but due to Henry's common knowledge about the elevator, Jennifer still got in. So, Sheila decided to take the stairs, even though Henry warned her that it would be a long walk (ten flights up). Sheila didn’t care and still went up. By the time she reached her apartment, she was panting hard.
For the summer holiday, the Tubman family was going to Tarrytown. In Tarrytown, they got a temporary house because the owners (the Egrans) were going to England. In Tarrytown, Sheila did many things like having a sleepover, going on a hay ride, making friends, learning some yo-yo tricks, hearing creepy stories, playing hide-and-seek, getting a temporary pet dog who became a mother, playing with pots at camp, becoming a temporary news reporter, learning how to swim, and finally earning the title: Sheila the Great. When the adventures were over and summer vacation was finished, they had to leave Tarrytown. They arranged a goodbye ceremony which was lots of fun.
Recommendation
I do not recommend this book because children might learn to sneak out of their homes, and they might pick up Sheila's bad habits, which could cause problems for their parents.
