Animals play an important role in our lives. They provide us with food and many more things. Some of the animals are friends of human beings. They are amazing and unique creatures on this planet. Today, I am going to write some interesting and funny facts about animals. They are listed below:
Elephants are the only animals that can not jump. 
A cow has four rooms in its stomach while the other animals have only one room in the stomach.
A rattlesnake produces sound when it walks. 
A snail can sleep for three years at a time.

The 7 wonderful monuments are also called the seven wonders of the world because of their best construction work. There are 7 new wonders of the world. They are the Great Wall of China, Petra, Machu Picchu, Taj Mahal, Great Pyramid, Colosseum, Christ the Redeemer statue. 
Great Wall of China:
The Great Wall is located in Beijing, China.  It is 21, 196 km long. The Great Wall was built in the 7th century and it took nearly 20 years to build the Great Wall of China. About 300,000 soldiers and 500,000 common people were involved in building the Great Wall of China.  It is considered a wonder of the world because of its size, the time it took to build and the number of people involved in the construction of the great wall.
Petra
Petra is located in Jordan.  Many houses and temples of Petra are made up of Red stones. Some people use camels to go around in Petra. Petra is also called the “ Red Rose City” because of the colour red of the stones from which houses and temples are made. It is considered as a wonder of the world by a vote of 100 million people in 2007.
Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu is located in Peru, South America. Machu Picchu was discovered by Hiram Bingham. Machu Picchu is a beautiful place. Many tourists visit Machu Picchu. The houses of Machu Picchu are made up of wooden logs and covered with straws. Machu Picchu is called a wonder of the world because it is 7,000 above sea level in the Andes Mountains.

Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal is located in north India. Agra built the Taj Mahal because he was requested by emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife. Taj Mahal is also known as the  Jewel of Muslim art in India. It was known as a wonder in 1983 AD because of Mughal architecture and a symbol of India's rich history.

Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid is located at Giza. It is the oldest and largest pyramid of Giza. The Great Pyramid was constructed in 2600 BC. It took 20 years to build the great pyramid of Giza. 100,000 men were involved in the construction of the Great Pyramid. It is a wonder of the world because it is the most famous human-made structure ever built.

 Christ the Redeemer Statue is located in Southern Brazil. It is a statue of Jesus Christ. It is 98 feet tall. It is 2,340 feet above sea level. It is also known as the biggest statue of  Jesus Christ. Christ the Redeemer statue is a wonder of the world because it has become a cultural icon of both Rio de Janeiro and Brazil.  

The  Соlоsseum
The  Соlоsseum,  аlsо knоwn аs the  Flаviаn  Аmрhitheаter,  is the lаrgest building in the city of  Rоme.  The соnstruсtiоn оf the  Соlоsseum began about  70-72  АD  аnd wаs соmрleted in  80 AD.  Emрerоr  Vesраsiаn begаn аll his wоrk,  and  Emperor  Titus соmрleted the соlоsseum.

हाम्रो देशको नाम नेपाल हो । मलाई मेरो देश मनपर्छ | हाम्रो देश क्षेत्रफलका हिसाबले सानाे छ तर धार्मिक,भाषिक र जातीय विविधता भएकाे देश हाे ।  हाम्रो देश हरिया पहाडहरू, वनजङ्गल र सेता हिमालले सजिएकाे छ ।  घरहरू साना ठुला हाेलान् तर मनले धनी यहाँका मानिसहरू छन् ।हाम्रो देशमा हावा पानीको कमि हुँदैन | नेपालमा धेरै चाडपर्व मनाउने हाम्राे देशमा सबैका चाडपर्वलाई उत्तिकै महत्व दिएर मिलिजुली मनाइन्छ । मन्दिरै मन्दिरकाे शहर भनेर, सर्वाेच्च शिखर सगरमाथाकाे देश भनेर, बहुजाति,बहुभाषा भएर पनि एकतामा रहेकाे देश भनेर विश्वमा चिनिएकाे छ । कृषिमा धेरै जनसङ्ख्या लागेका भए तापनि जागिर, व्यापार इत्यादि पेसा यहाँका मानिसहरूले अपनाएका छन् ।

धेरै वर्ष अगाडि एउटा मुक्ति नाम गरेको देश थियो । जहाँ सुनवासा नाम गरेको ठूलो शहर थियो । त्यस सहरबाट केही टाढा उत्तरपट्टि गुमनाम नामको सानो राज्य थियो । जुन राज्यमा एक रिना नाम गरेकी जादुगर बस्दथी । उसको एलिना नाम गरेकी छोरी पनि थिइन् । एलिनाले आफ्नो आमाबाट विभिन्न जादुका कलाहरु सिक्ने गर्दथिन् । साथै एलिना धेरै भन्दा धेरै किताब पढ्ने गर्दथिन् । उनले आफ्नो फुर्सदको समयमा आमाले आविष्कार गरेको सारा संसार हेर्न सकिने अहिलेको युट्युव जस्तैमा विभिन्न विषयहरु हेरेर बस्ने गर्दथिन् । उनले त्यस युट्युव जस्तै(उपकरण) मा आफ्नो कथाहरु पनि बनाएर राखेकी थिइन् । उनले सारा संसारलाई आफ्नो कब्जामा ल्याउनु पर्छ भन्ने सोच राखेकी थिइन् । 
एक दिन एलिनाले आफ्नो आमाबाट जादुहरु सिक्ने क्रममा आमाले एलिनाको मनमा रहेको विषय थाहा पाइन् । एलिनामा सारा संसारमा आफ्नो अधिनमा राख्ने, दुःख दिने तथा दुष्ट प्रवृत्ति बढी रहेको उनकी आमाले थाहा पाइन् ।
रिनालाई निकै चिन्ता लाग्यो । आफ्नो छोरीले सानो उमेरमा यति धेरै नराम्रो सोच कसरी राख्न सम्भव भयो भनेर । त्यसपछि रिनाले त्यो विषय पत्ता लगाउन खोजिन् । एक दिन एलिनालाई जादु सिकाउने उदेश्यले हिप्नोटाइज गरेर एलिनाले सपनामा कस्तो कुरा देख्छिन्, उनको दिमागमा नकारात्मक विचारहरु रहेको पत्ता लगाइन् । 
उनको यस्तो सपना आउनुको कारण उनले पढ्ने किताब र हेर्ने दृष्यहरुले आएको रिनाले पत्ता लगाइसकेपछि छोरीलाई राम्रो र सकारात्मक कुराहरु दिमागमा रहोस्,  उनले सिकेका जादुहरु सबै मानिसहरुको राम्रोको लागि काम लागोस् भन्ने सोचिन् । त्यसपछि रिनाले सम्माेहन (हिप्नोटाइज) गरेर एलिनाको दिमागमा भएका सबै नराम्रा विषयहरुलाई हटाइदिइन् र नकारात्मक सोच आउनै नदिने बनाइदिइन् । त्यसको केही समयपछि एलिना फुर्तिसाथ उठिन् । उनको मनमा राम्रा विचारहरु पलाइरहेका थिए । त्यसपछि त्यस विषय रिनाले थाहा पाएपछि दुबै आमाछोरीले आफुले जानेको जादुबाट सबै जनाको भलोको लागि काम गर्न थाले । 

My favourite cartoon character is Iron Man. He is a champion from an American comic book published by Marvel Comics. He is also known as the second avenger. His real name is Tony Stark. His father's name is Howard Stark. His friends were the Peepers Pots and James Rhodes. He is the owner of Stark International Company. He made his first metal suit at a young age. He also built a military machine. On his metal helmet, there are lasers, jet boots and machine guns. In his body, there is a reactor named arc reactor. He makes suits for all purposes like space one, underwater diving, low-level one etc. His suit has enough expertise to counsel a person with a heart attack.
His jerseys are his secret flying and his riders help him attack. His suit can connect to the internet, access calls and make calls. Tony Stark can say one word and can access a file even if it has billions of encryption sections. Having such amazing technology is a miracle. I consider him a hero. I wish I could be Iron Man.

A galaxy means gas, dust and many stars held together by strong gravity. There are many galaxies and our galaxy is called the "Milky way". Our galaxy "The Milky Way" is a spiral galaxy, which means that our galaxy has long bands of gas, dust and stars. These bands are called arms of the galaxy. There is a big black hole in the middle of our galaxy. Our galaxy is so big that even scientists do not know how many arms there are in our galaxy. Scientists think that there are 4 arms or even 2 arms of our galaxy. We can see a spiral arm of our galaxy only in a place where no light of cities can reach. There are so many stars in our galaxy that they are uncountable.

मेरा हजुरबा र हजुरआमा हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँहरू एकआपसमा पनि धेरै मिल्नुहुन्छ एक अर्कालाइ धेरै माया गर्नुहुन्छ । उहाँहरू दुबै जनाले मलाइ धेरै माया गर्नुहुन्छ । हजुरबाले मैले पढेकाे नपढेकाे ख्याल गर्नुहुन्छ भने हजुरआमाले मैले समयमै खाएकाे र नखाएकाे ख्याल गर्नुहुन्छ । उहाँहरूले मैले गल्ती गरे पनि सम्झाउनुहुन्छ । मेरा आमाबाबा व्यस्त भए पनि हजुरबा र हजुरआमाले मलाइ ख्याल गर्नुहुन्छ । मलाइ पुराना आफ्ना पालाका कथा गीत सुनाउनुहुन्छ । म मेरा हजुरबा र हजुरअामालाइ निकै माया गर्छु ।उहाँहरूले मलाइ सधैँ धेरै आशीर्वाद दिइरहनुहुन्छ ।

साउनकाे कृष्ण त्रयाेदशीका दिन गठेमङ्गलकाे जात्रा काठमाडाैँ उपत्यकामा विशेष गरी नेवारी समुदायले मनाउँछन् । भूतप्रेत नलागाेस भनेर याे दिन फलामे औँठी लगाइन्छ । घन्टाकर्ण भन्ने राक्षसले दुःख नदियाेस भनेर पनि औँठी लगाइन्छ । मानिसहरू मिठाेमिठाे खानेकुरा बनाउँछन् र भाेज गर्छन् । बच्चाहरू घन्टाकर्णकाे मूर्ति परालबाट बनाएर त्यसकाे कानमा  घन्ट झुन्ड्याइदिन्छन् । यसाे गर्दा त्यसले आफूलाइ दुःख नदिने जनविश्वस छ ।

There was a village called  Rangapur.  It was a haunted village. There was one road that passed through dense forests. Whoever passes through the road after 5:00 pm, the spirit calls their name. One day the boy named Rounak came to the village to meet his uncle and cousin brother Chandu. Rounak came there with his two friends Ram and Mohan.
Three boys were very happy to see the green and beautiful environment of the village, they liked the village very much and they decided to stay in the village.
 On the second day, Rounak and his friends went to Chandu and asked, “Chandu we three have decided to stay in the village and do some work here, so we wanted to open the tailor shop, can you help us to find out the perfect location for the tailor shop?” Chandu replied, “Sure, you can open a shop here but before that, you should know some mysterious things about this village.” “Village Mystery? What are you trying to say, we didn’t understand?” asked Ram. Chandu replied, “Yes, this is a haunted village. There is a spirit in this village. Whenever any villager passes through the road in the forest after 5:PM, the spirit calls them from behind and when the person looks back the spirit changes the person into a snow cube. Always remember to close your shop and reach home before 5:00 pm”. Three friends did not believe in the story and laughed at Chandu. They decided the location of their shop. On the first day of their work, they closed the shop at 6:00 PM. It was already  7:00 PM when they were returning home. When they were passing through the road they heard somebody calling them their names. They remembered the story of Chandu and did not look back. Three friends started to run. They ran as fast as possible and reached home. The boys were afraid and decided to complete all their work before 5:00 pm. From that day onwards they always reached home before 5:00. 
One day, it was the time of the festival. They had many clothes to stitch. Mohan decided to work a few more minutes but Ram and Rohan left for home. Mohan was busy with his work. He forgot the time, it was already 6:00 pm. He was very afraid, so he decided to listen to music on the way. He used earphones and increased the volume so he could not hear any outside sound and walked very fast. Luckily, that day he did not hear any sound of the spirit. He was so happy. He told everything to his friends, he also told them that it's very safe to use earphones. From that day onwards they started to close their shop after five and keep earphones for safety. It continued for one month. One day again, when Mohan was returning home alone. Unfortunately, that day he forgot to charge his mobile battery so he couldn’t listen to music. He was so scared, when he was passing through the road, he heard his grandmother calling his name. His grandmother passed away many years ago due to cancer. When he heard the sound of his grandmother he could not control himself and turned back. The spirit changed him into a snow cube.
 The next day Ronak and Ram looked for Mohan, they searched him in the whole village. The villagers told the spirit might have changed him in the snow cube. Ram and Ronak cried a lot. After that incident, they decided to leave the village. They sold the tailor shop and left the village. They also promised not to return to that village again.

Elephants are one of the kindest and most emotional animals in the world. There are two species of elephants and they are African elephants and Asian elephants. The easiest way to differentiate African and Asian elephants is to observe their ears. The ears of Asian elephants are small and round, on the other hand, the ears of African elephants look like the map of Africa. The leader of herds of elephants is called the matriarch who is also known as the oldest female of the herd because she knows more than the rest of the herd. Elephants flap their ears to stay cool. They are also known as keystone species because they play a critical role in the ecosystem.

श्रावणको पहिलो दिनलाई साउने सङ्क्रान्ती  भनेर भनिन्छ । यस दिनलाई कर्कट सङ्क्रान्ती भनेर पनि भनिन्छ, किनभने यस दिनमा सुर्य कर्कट राशिमा प्रवेश हुन्छ ।  यस दिनबाट दिन छोटा र रात लामा हुँदै जान्छन् ।   यस दिनमा धेरै फलफुल, नैवेद्य आदि चढाएर पुजा गरिन्छ । यस दिनलाई लुतो फाल्ने दिन भनेर पनि भनिन्छ । वर्षायाममा हिलाेमा काम गर्नाले छालामा विभिन्न समस्या देखिन सक्ने र यस दिन लुतो फाल्नाले दाद, लुतो, खटिराजस्ता छालाको रोग नलाग्ने भनेर विश्वास  गरिन्छ ।  यस दिनमा  नासपाती, कागती, निबुवा, अम्बा, अनार  आदि आफ्ना आफ्ना आस्थाका देवतालाई चढाएर मात्र खान फुकुवा हुन्छ ।   यस दिन आफन्तहरू जम्मा भएर मिठामिठा खानेकुरा खाइन्छ । श्रावण महिनामा भगवान शिवको पूजा  गरिन्छ । असार भरि खेतमा काम गरेका किसानहरू अफ्ना आफन्त सँग रमाइलो गर्छन् । यस महिनामा नारिहरूले हरियो चुरा, पाेते र हरियै कपडा लगाउने चलन छ । 
 

Mangoes are fleshy stone fruits belonging to the drupe family. These are also called the “King of fruits”. We get them in the summer season. These are one of the most widely consumed fruits in the world.  They are sweet and juicy.  Mangoes are green or yellow in colour. We can have mangoes for breakfast, lunch or mid-day. There are 100 varieties of mangoes. They are in various ranges of colour, size and shape. People eat ripe mangoes or prepare pickles from raw mangoes. Mangoes have many health benefits. We get potassium and minerals from mangoes, they are rich in vitamin A, C and D. Mangoes are tasty fruits and I love them very much.
