आमा जननी आमा धर्ती

अनि माया र दयाकी खानी

नाै नाै महिना काेखमा राखी

प्रसव पीडा सही यस धर्तीमा 

सन्तानलाई  जन्म दिने आमा

साँच्चिकै आमा शब्द कति प्याराे

रात रात भर आफू नसुती

मलाई न्यानाे निद्रा दिने आमा

भाेक लाग्याे तिर्खा लाग्याे नभनीकनै

मेराे मनकाे कुरा बुझेर

मेराे भाेक र तिर्खा मेटाउने मेरी आमा

साँच्चिकै कति प्याराे शब्द  मेरी आमा 

आहा ! कति प्याराे शब्द आमा

There are many teachers in my school. My favourite teacher is Ms. Sarina Maharjhan. She is an energetic lady. She is beautiful and is always smiling. She teaches us Science. She is very polite and friendly. She keeps suggesting that we should  pay full attention during the lessons. She teaches all the lessons in an understanding way. If sometimes, I get confused, I ask her repeatedly and she tries her best to make me understand. 

She always encourages all the students to work hard and score better marks. 

I went on a field visit to Rastriya Falful Bikash Kendra on Ashar 6 with my friends and teachers. We had lunch earlier and then boarded the bus. The place we were visiting was located in Kirtipur, and it was quite a long journey. We chatted throughout the ride. When we arrived, all of my friends, including myself, realised that we had visited this place when we were in grade 1. Nevertheless, we took group photos, and there were also two dogs there. We were divided into two groups, each with its own guide. Our teachers handed out field visit forms.

During our visit, we saw different plants and learned about some new things. Our guide introduced us to each plant. We observed plants such as kiwi, pear, and a mixture of two fruits. Additionally, we saw a greenhouse, a screen house, and the place where they produced compost from earthworms. Learning was enjoyable, but it was a hot day too. . Thankfully, we had umbrellas.

Afterward, we took a rest and played at the park for a while, which was a lot of fun. Then it was time to bid farewell, and we boarded the bus once more. We were all tired, and I even managed to catch a short nap. We eventually reached the school. I had a great time and learned many new things.

मलाई मन पर्ने खेलको नाम लुकामारी हो । याे खेल निकै लाेकप्रिय छ । याे खेलले बालबालिकालाई शारीरिक अभ्यास गराउँछ । यसले कल्पना शक्ति बढाउँछ । उनीहरूकाे दिमाग तेज बनाउँछ । याे खेल खेल्दा दुई जना भन्दा धेरै हुनुपर्छ । लुकामारी खेलमा एक जनाले आँखा बन्द गर्नुपर्छ र अरुहरू लुक्नुपर्छ । लुकामारी खेलमा आँखा बन्द गर्दा अङ्क गनेर लुकेका साथीहरूलाई खाेज्नुपर्छ । खोज्ने मान्छेले लुक्ने मान्छेलाई भेटायाे भने खोज्ने मान्छेले जित्छ । म कहिलेकाहीँ घरमा पनि लुकामारी खेल्छु । मेरो साथीहरू पनि स्कुलमा लुकामारी खेल्छन् । मलाई पनि उनीहरूसँग लुकामारी खेल्न मनपर्छ ।

 हिन्दु सनातन धर्मअनुसार भगवान बिष्णु हरिशयनी एकादशीमा निदाउने र चार महिनापछि कार्तिक मङ्सिरमा पर्ने हरिबोधिनी एकादशीको दिन उठ्नुहुन्छ भन्ने मान्यता रहिआएको छ । हिन्दु सनातन धर्ममा तुलसीको बिशेष महत्त्व हुन्छ । मर्दा पर्दा होस् या जुन सुकै बिशेष कार्यमा तुलसी अनिवार्य हुन्छ । भगवान बिष्णु स्वयम् तुलसीमा विराजमान हुनुहुन्छ वा भगवान बिष्णुले तुलसीको रूप धारणा गरेको भन्ने विविन्न धार्मिक पुस्तकहरूमा वर्णन गरिएको छ । त्यसैले हरेक हिन्दु सनातनको घरमा पूर्व दिशामा तुलसीको मोठ अनिवार्य राखिएको हुन्छ । असारको हरिशयनी एकादशीमा तुलसीको मोठमा रोपिएको तुलसीको बिउलाई हिन्दु महिलाले दिनहुँ पानी चढाएर पूजा गर्छन् । मङ्सिर महिनामा पर्ने हरिबोधिनी एकादशीको दिनमा होम हाली ठुलो भएको तुलसीको पूजा गरी तुलासीको विवाह पीपलसँग गरिन्छ । सोही कार्यलाई तुलसी  विवाह भन्ने प्रचलन छ । तुलसी विवाह गर्दा तुलसीको मोठ वरिपरि राम्रोसँग सफा गरी तुलसीको मोठ राम्रोसँग सजाएर पाँचओटा दिशामा लिङ्गाे गाडी विधि विधान अनुरूप पूजा गर्नुपर्छ । तुलसीकाे  विवाह गर्दा  तुलसीकाे मठलाई दुलहीलाई झैँ सिँगारिन्छ । यस दिन मानिसहरू दिनभरि वर्त बस्छन् । साँझ तुलसीकाे  विवाह  गरेपछि मात्र खाना खान्छन् । यसरी हिन्दु धर्मावलम्बीहरूले  हरिशयनी र  हरिबोधिनी एकादशीलाई ठुलाे पर्वकाे रूपमा मनाउँछन्।

I like playing games and sports. I like all sports including running. I have two hobbies. One of them is Swimming. I like playing in the water. My mother takes me for swimming classes during the weekend. I want to learn all the swimming skills. I want to become a good swimmer in the future. 

My other hobby is playing football. I love football because playing this game is fun and it also helps to keep my body healthy. 

When my grade 4 exam was finished, I had my vaccination schedule. I had not planned where to go for the vaccination, but when my grandfather suggested celebrating it by travelling out of the valley, I became excited. My mother asked my grandfather where we should go, and he replied, "We will first go to Janakpur, then to Ithari, followed by Darjeeling and Dharan. In excitement, I said, "If we are going to Ithari, can we also visit Ilam?" My grandfather agreed, and my mother suggested we go to Janakpur, Ithari, Ilam, Darjeeling, and Dharan. My grandfather set the date for our journey on Baishakh 4, which made me very happy.

Trip from Kathmandu to Janakpur

On Baishakh 4, I woke up at 3:00 a.m. so we could be ready to leave by 5:00 a.m. I freshened up, drank warm water, and had 5 almonds. After getting ready, my grandmother packed our food, and I packed my snack bag. My mother, grandfather, grandmother, mama, and I began our journey. At 12:30 p.m., we stopped at a cottage that was a panipuri shop. My grandmother gave me the food she had packed, and I was so hungry that I ate it quickly. My mother and I also took some photos before continuing our trip. We reached Janakpur at 4:35 p.m., which was my maternal uncle's house. I was so happy and tired at the same time, and my grandfather cooked chicken for us, which we enjoyed.

Trip from Janakpur to Ithari

In Janakpur, we planned to stay for 2 days. After those two days, we continued our journey to Ithari, my grandfather's sister's house. We had lunch at 11:00 a.m. and set off. I was thrilled because my cousins were there. At 1:00 p.m., I wanted to have ice cream. As it was so hot there, my mom bought me an ice cream that was so tasty. By 2:30 p.m., we had reached my grandfather's sister's house. I was overjoyed to reunite with my cousins, and we played games on our mobiles. We also played games like London Bridge, hide and seek, and many others. We enjoyed sweets and chips and later visited my mother's older brother's house, where we had more food, including chicken and sweets.

My vacation was wonderful and memorable. I would like to thank my family for making it joyful.

मेरो विद्यालय रमाइलाे छ । मेरो विद्यालयमा फरक फरक प्रकारका बिरुवा र रुखहरू छन् । यहाँ ठुलो मैदान छ । मेरो  कक्षाकोठामा सेतोपाटी, चित्र, टि‍‍‍.भी छ ।  मेरो विद्यालयमा दिनमा आठवटा विषयको पढाइ हुन्छ । हामी कहिलेकाहीँ खेल खेल्छाैँ । हाम्रो कक्षा सकिएपछि हात धाेएर खाना खान जान्छाैँ र खेल खेल्छाैँ । हामी कक्षाकार्य सकिएपछि फेरि खाजा खान जान्छाैँ । मेरो विद्यालयमा शिक्षक शिक्षिकाहरूले हामी सबै बालबालिकालाई राम्राे व्यवहार गर्नुहुन्छ । हामीलाई राम्रो कुरा सिकाउनुहुन्छ । हामीलाई विद्यालयमा धेरै किसिमका  खेलहरू खेलाइन्छ । नृत्य, चित्रकला र याेग गर्न सिकाइन्छ । मला‌‌ई मेराे विद्यालय असाध्यै मन पर्छ ।

मेरी दिदीको नाम सपना मिश्रा हो । उहाँ २१ वर्षकी हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँ धेरै सुन्दर  हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँमा मानिसहरूलाई हँसाउने प्रतिभा छ। उहाँसँग नेतृत्व गर्ने गुण पनि छ । उहाँ लेखन सिपमा धेरै राम्रो हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँलाई यात्रा मन पर्छ । उहाँ  मेरी  मनपर्ने  दिदी  हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँ बुटवलमा हुनुहुन्छ । म साँच्चै बुटवल जान चाहन्छु र उहाँलाई भेट्न चाहन्छु । उहाँसँग मेरो कारमा रमाइलो गर्दै  यात्रामा जान चाहन्छु । उहाँको लक्ष्य सरकारी अधिकारी बन्ने हो। उहाँ  हाम्रो देशको सेवा गर्न चाहनुहुन्छ । उहाँसँग नाच्ने, गाउने र चित्र बनाउने गरप्रतिभा छ। उहाँ  प्रकृतिमा बढी समय बिताउन चाहनुहुन्छ  र प्रकृतिको बारेमा लेख्न मन पराउनुहुन्छ । दिदीले मलाई राम्रा राम्रा कुराहरू सिकाउनुहुन्छ । ज्ञानी, असल र अनुशासित हुनुपर्छ है भनेर पनि सम्झाउनुहुन्छ ।

Sports are fun physical activities. It could be running, jumping, swimming or other forms of activities when we function physically. Sports not only keep us fit but they keep our mind and soul healthy and fresh too. It is said that we can get control over anger when we play games. Sports teach us discipline and make us active. 

Our body functions well when we are involved in sports. The internal organs like heart, kidney etc also start functioning well when we are involved in sports regularly. 

It is also a helpful medium to make new friends as we get to interact with many people while playing sports.

Saturday

On the 12th of August, it was a normal day, and it was the monsoon season. It had been raining for 3-4 days. I woke up, and as always, it was raining, and it was cold too. I had plans with my parents, but unfortunately, the rain disrupted us. I also could not follow my daily routine because of the rain. After that, I had a delicious breakfast. I watched TV. I had my lunch, and then my cousins arrived at my house. We played indoor games, watched TV, did some drawing, and 

enjoyed our time indoors. It was still raining, and the day passed by without doing much.

Sunday

On the 13th of August, the rain had not stopped. It was still cold, although it had stopped raining. Early in the morning, my parents woke me up and took me hiking. Our destination was from Thali to Sundarijal. It took us 2 hours to reach there and 2 hours to return. It was not a long route, but we were tired. When we arrived, we went to a cow farm and had some breakfast. We also took some photos on the way back. It started raining again, but luckily we had umbrellas. When we got back home, we finally had lunch. We got ready and went to my Thulo Baba's house. I met my cousins, sister, and brother. My cousins took me for a lucky draw, and I did not win anything, but we bought ice cream. Later, we were invited to my maternal uncle's house, so we went there. Again, I played with my cousins and had a lot of fun. Then we went to my other maternal uncle's house and had a family dinner. I was very tired, so I got back home, brushed my teeth, and slept peacefully.

Hence, my weekend passed like that.

खरायो मेरो मन पर्ने जनावर हो । खरायो स्तनधारी चारखुट्टे जनावर हो । यो जनावर घरपालुवा र जङ्गली दुवै अवस्थामा पाइन्छ । खरायोले धेरै प्रकारका घाँसहरू खाने गर्दछ । खरायोले गाँजर पनि खान्छ । खरायोका अगाडिका खुट्टाहरूमा पाँच/पाँचवटा औँलाहरू हुन्छन् तर पछाडिका खुट्टाहरूमा चारवटा मात्र औँलाहरू हुन्छन् । खरायोको भुत्ला लामो र नरम खालको हुन्छ । जसको रङ्ग कैलो, फुस्रो, सेतो तथा खैरो हुन्छ । म एकचाेटि र्‍याबिट क्याफे गएको थिएँ । त्यहाँ खरायाेसँग खेल्न दिन्छन् । मैले त्यहाँ केहीबेर खरायोसँग खेलेँ । खरायो विशेष गरी ऊनका लागि विश्वका धेरै ठाउँमा पालिने गरिन्छ। केही ठाउँमा यसलाई सौखको रूपमा पनि पाल्ने गरिन्छ । मलाई सेताे खरायाे असाध्यै मन पर्छ ।
