The Way of Nature

According to Hindu mythology, it is said that the creator of this Earth was Lord Brahma, who brought existence to Earth, water, air, and the sky by meditating for thousands of years in the cosmic water. He reshaped the physical world by creating mountains, rivers, trees, and living beings. Brahma is believed to be the creator of nature itself, which is filled with significance and beauty from its inception. Nature is a timeless and eternal concept, and its essence holds the essence of life.


 

Nature embodies life itself, revolving around birth and death. During the lifespan of any organism on Earth, nature envelops it with its own aura. Nature is the epitome of eternal beauty; everything we perceive around us holds its own definition of beauty. The sky, clouds, trees, wind, rain, thunderstorms, and lightning bolts together create the magnificence of nature. The creator of this nature is divine and immortal. Nature is a vast, intricate tapestry that unveils various philosophies about its creation throughout the ages.


 

Nature embraces simplicity, and integrating the way of nature into our lives helps us find divine peace and harmony. Nature is a continuous flow, and living in the present moment, appreciating the small joys in life, enables us to offer kindness, humanity, and gratitude. The beauty of nature lies in the eyes of the beholder, so finding happiness in life entails cherishing the smallest moments and enjoying the simple pleasures, fostering inner peace and healing.


 

Nature is a precious treasure, shaping our homes and lives. It is not merely a physical entity or moment in time; nature embodies spirituality and inner peace for every soul. Understanding and appreciating the way of nature is crucial in finding happiness, as it is the essence behind our emotions of fear, anger, arrogance, jealousy, happiness, and sadness.


 

Therefore, comprehending nature and immersing ourselves in its beauty and intricacies can lead us to discover the keys to happiness, peace, and healing in life. Every living being on this planet yearns for love, comfort, and peace, and embracing the way of nature is the path to learning about love and comfort. Gratitude is paramount, even for our own fears and anger, as it can lead to healing. Finding solace and joy in the smallest aspects of nature, whether it be watching raindrops, enjoying thunderstorms, or feeling the gentle winter breeze, defines the way of nature that resides within every soul.


 

In conclusion, it is essential for us to appreciate nature and explore its wonders in everyday life, inspiring a more balanced and connected existence. As we navigate life's complexities, drawing inspiration from the natural world can guide us towards simplicity, resilience, appreciation, and happiness for the beauty of nature that surrounds us—this is the true essence of the way of nature.

मेरा रुचि र लक्ष्यहरू!

मेरो लक्ष्यले मलाई आत्मविश्वासी बनाउँछ भने मेरा रुचिहरूले मलाई बिगार्छन् पनि । किनभने म मेरा रुचिमा बढी क्रेन्दित भएँ भने मेरो लक्ष्यलाई असर पर्छ जुन पछि गएर मलाई नै असर पर्न पुग्न सक्छ । त्यस कारणले नै होला मेरो रुचि र लक्ष्य फरक छन् र एक अर्कामा मेल खाँदैनन् ।  मेरो मात्र होइन अरू धेरैका त्यस्तै हुन सक्छ वा कसैका नहुन पनि सक्छन् । लक्ष्यले मानिसको भविष्यलाई बनाउँछ तर यसले हाम्रो वर्तमानलाई गाह्रो बनाउन सक्छ । त्यसै गरी नै हाम्रो रुचिहरूका कुरा गर्दा यसले हाम्रो वर्तमानललाई सजिलो र पूर्ण बनाएको हुन्छ । किनभने हामीले यहाँ आफूले चाहेको झैँ जीन्दगी जिउन पाउन कसलाई चाहिँ मन पर्दैन र ? तर यसले हाम्रो भविष्यलाई सकारात्मक भन्दा पनि नकारात्मक किसिमले धेरै प्रभाव पार्छ । 

अब मेरो मुख्य उद्देश्य वा लक्ष्यबारे कुरा गर्दै छु । म सेनाको डाक्टर बन्न चाहन्छु जसले सैनिकहरूको उपचार गर्छ । मेरो सपना कुनै न कुनै तरिकाले मेरो सम्पूर्ण देशलाई म विशेष गरी मेरो शिक्षाबाट मद्दत गर्न सक्छु । त्यसैले मेरो शिक्षाबाट म डाक्टर वा इन्जिनियर भएर मात्र मेरो देशलाई मद्दत गर्न सक्छु। किनकि तिनीहरू सबैभन्दा शीर्ष क्षेत्रहरू हुन् जसले सधैँ देशको विकास गर्न मद्दत गर्दछ । त्यसैले यसबाट मैले बुझेको छु कि शिक्षा मेरो लक्ष्यको मुख्य कुञ्जी हो मेरो लक्ष्यले मलाई मेरो परिवार र देशलाई फाइदा पुर्‍याउँछ । यहाँ शिक्षा हरेक मामलामा महत्त्वपूर्ण छ त्यसैले मैले मेरा रुचिहरू पालना गरे पनि मैले जे भए पनि उच्च स्तरको शिक्षा पढ्नै पर्छ । गितार बजाउने, पौडी खेल्ने, मारसल आर्ट सिक्ने र अभ्यास गर्ने भएकाले मेरो रुचि सधैँ मेरो लक्ष्यभन्दा फरक हुन्छ । सजिलो जीवन बिताउनको लागि मेरो रुचिमाभन्दा मेरो लक्ष्यमा ध्यान केन्द्रित गर्नुपर्छ भन्ने मलाई थाह छ । तर म यो पनि जोड्न चाहन्छु कि हामी सबैले आफ्ना चासो र लक्ष्यहरूलाई सधैँ समान मापदण्डमा लिनुपर्छ । किनकि हामी दुवै पक्षबाट लाभान्वित हुन्छौँ, किनकि हाम्रो चासोले हामीलाई व्यक्तिगत सन्तुष्टि विकास गर्न मद्दत गर्दछ । यद्यपि हामीले हाम्रो लक्ष्यमा बढी ध्यान केन्द्रित गर्न आवश्यक छ । यसले मलाई अचम्ममा पार्न कहिल्यै रोक्दैन कि मसँग अन्य धेरै रुचिहरू भए तापनि ती सबै मेरो लक्ष्यमा पुग्ने चरणमा आउँछन् । जस्तो कि मैले सधैँ सोचेको छु र वास्तवमा देखेको छु ।  हाम्रो चासो र हाम्रा लक्ष्यहरू सधैँ विपरीत हुन्छन् । गितार बजाउने र पौडी खेल्ने जस्ता मेरो व्यक्तिगत रुचिहरूले मेरो दिमागलाई सधैँ ताजा राख्छ । वास्तवमा मेरो अध्ययनको लागि लाभदायक छ । त्यति मात्र हैन म आफ्नो दिमागलाई सधैँ गितार वा स्विमिङ जस्ता कुरामा व्यस्त राख्न सक्थेँ ताकि मेरो दिमाग कठिन अध्ययनको लागि तयार होस्।

मेरो चाहना र मेरो व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ सधैँ फरक हुन्छ, तर मेरो मात्र होइन सबैको व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ र इच्छा फरक हुन्छ । तसर्थ, कसैले पनि तिनीहरूलाई एउटै कुराको रूपमा सोच्नु हुँदैन । मेरो लक्ष्य पूरा गर्न नसकेपछि कहिलेकाहीँ मेरो इच्छा हुन सक्छ तर मेरो व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ कहिल्यै मेरो इच्छा बन्न सक्दैन। यसरी छोटकरीमा भन्नुपर्दा यी मेरा व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ र लक्ष्य हुन् ।

My Flute Journey

Flute has never been my interest in life. It was grade 6 when my music teacher introduced us to the flute. After that, he explained the basics and instructed us to buy a flute in the key of D. That year, we successfully learned the basics of the flute and played short pieces at Deerwalk Sifal Night.


 

Afterward, I set aside the flute for a year, as I had no interest in it at the time. In grade 8, I resumed my flute journey. With the guidance of my new music teacher, I learned some new Newari music, though I was not particularly good at it. The year concluded with a flute performance of "Phool ko Aakhama" at Deerwalk Sifal Night. The following year, in BS 2080, I had the opportunity to learn the traditional flute at Dathu Tw Bajan Khala. There, my training began at the end of Asar. On the first day, I was introduced to many people whom I had never met before, and I played some songs that I already knew. Subsequently, I continued practicing the flute every day for around three months, during which time we mastered around 15 songs suitable for the Yenla festival.


 

The flute training was primarily focused on Yenla, a month in the Nepal Sambat calendar during which we visited different nearby temples every day while playing the dhime baja, flute, etc. Shortly before Yenla, we held a puja during which we performed the nasa dya, playing the flute outside for the first time. During Yenla, we played the flute on weekends since many of us couldn't participate every day. Moreover, we performed during other festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi and the welcoming of the president, which was very exciting. Furthermore, my journey with the flute is ongoing. In recent days, I have been practicing for an orchestral program, learning more songs. Additionally, I am proficient in many famous Newari songs and some Nepali songs too. The flute has not only enhanced my skills but has also provided me with an opportunity to connect with my Newari culture.


 

This journey with the flute will not decrease, as it has sparked a deep interest in me that inspires me to continue learning more about the flute in the coming years and establish a reputation in this field. Thus, my journey with the flute, from basic to traditional, has been transformative. Throughout this period, I have learned many valuable lessons and forged meaningful connections with those around me. As I mentioned earlier, this journey will persist, and in the future, it will evolve into a professional pursuit. This will serve as a means of fostering creativity among others.

हामी खडाछाैँ

उम्रिदैँ गरेकाे बिरुवा 

बाेट हुन सकेकाे छैन

कलकल बग्ने खाेला

सुरिलाे भाकामा

नागबेली बगाई र सुसाइमा छैन ।


 

सानाे किरादेखि 

ठुलाे ह्वेलसमेत

आफ्नाे पनमा बाँचेकाे

महसुस छैन

प्रकृतिकाे माटाे,

हामीले फेर्ने सास, 

पिउने पानीमा 

स्वाद र मिठास भरिएकाे छैन।


 

आमा समान धर्तीकाे

Nepal is a beautiful country, with many cultural and religious places and festivals. Many mountains and temples are also located here. The popular game 'Cricket' is played in many places throughout Nepal, and the people of Nepal love it. Cricket matches can be seen everywhere, and Nepal even has a strong national cricket team. The team has achieved many trophies, medals, and certificates, with several players participating in major tournaments abroad.


 

The head coach of the Nepal National cricket team is Monty Desai, who has led the team to success in the upcoming T20 World Cup, scheduled to be played in the United States of America and the West Indies in June and July. Under his guidance, the team has secured numerous medals, trophies, and certificates. Among the most popular cricket players of Nepal are Paras Khadka and Sandeep Lamichhane. Paras Khadka, hailed as one of the greatest and most successful captains in the history of the Nepal National Cricket team, led the team to its first T20 World Cup appearance. The current captain of the Nepal National Cricket Team is Rohit Kumar Paudel, who led the team during their T20 World Cup campaign. Another notable player is Dipendra Singh Airee, dubbed the "Tiger of Nepal," who holds records for scoring the fastest 50 runs in 9 balls and hitting the most sixes in an over during T20 international matches.


 

While Nepal has produced remarkable cricket achievements, there is still a perception among some that pursuing a career in cricket may not lead to success. However, combining cricket with higher education can open up opportunities for participation in various tournaments, offering a promising future for aspiring cricketers in Nepal.

मेरो देश नेपाल एउटा सुन्दर, शान्त र सानो राष्ट्र । मेरो देश प्रकृतिले भरिपूर्ण छ । त्यस्तै म यो देशको योग्य नागरिक हुँ । मेरो नाम अध्याय भण्डारी । मा कक्षा ९ मा पढ्ने छात्र । मैले आफ्नो देशलाई धेरै क्षेत्रमा योगदान दिन सक्छु । म मेरो देशलाई चिनाउन धेरै काम गर्न सक्छु । 

पहिले, म राम्ररी पढेर मेरो र मेरो देशको विकाश गर्न सक्छु । मैले मेरो देशको विकाश गर्नको लागि महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान दिनुपर्छ । मैले मिहिनेत गरेँ भने म आफ्नो देशमा, विदेशबाट बेरोजगार  मानिसहरूलाई मेरो देशमा ल्याएर ती मनिसहरूलाई रोजगारीको अवसर दिन्छु । यी कामहरू पढेर म देशमा गर्न चहान्छु । 

दोस्रो, म एउटा राजनीतिज्ञ भएँ भने म देशको विकाश गर्छु । राजनीतिज्ञको काम नै देशको विकाश गर्नु हो । तर त्यो काम पनि कुन कुन क्षेत्रमा गर्ने भन्ने सोचेर गर्नुपर्छ । पहिले त म  मेरो देशमा भएको  सडक पूर्वाधारको व्यवस्था गर्थेँ । म बाटोहरूलाई पूर्ण राम्ररी निर्माण गरी दुर्घटना हुनबाट बचाउन चाहन्छु । जति पैसा मैले पाउँथेँ म त्यो सबै पैसा बाटोमा लगानी गर्थेँ । तर आहिलेका राजनीतिज्ञहरू त आधा पैसा गोजीमा र आधा पैसाले चाँही बाटो बनाउने काम पनि गरे जस्ताे लाग्दैन । बनाएकाे बाटो  वर्ष पनि नटिक्ने । त्यस्तो काम धेरै गलत काम हो । बाटोको व्यवस्था भइसकेपछि म शिक्षाको राम्राे व्यवस्था गर्थेँ । आर्थिक अवस्था अति कमजाेर भएर पढ्न नसक्ने विद्यार्थीहरूलाई निःशुल्क शिक्षा प्रदान गर्थेँ । त्यसपछि म जुन विद्यार्थी पढ्न सक्छ तर उसको पारिवारिक समस्याको कारण र घरको आर्थिक स्थिति केही  कमजाेर भएको विद्यार्थीलाई म केही छात्रवृति प्रदान गर्थे । देशका जुन जुन राम्रा राम्रा पर्यटकीय स्थलहरू छन् तिनीहरूकाे  राम्राे विकाश गर्थे । 

म खेलाडी बनेर मेरो देशको लागि मानौँ क्रिकेट खेल्थेँ । म त्यसमा पनि धेरै विकाश गर्थेँ । म आहिलेको नेपाल क्रिकेट टिमको आवस्थालाई एकदम राम्रो बनाउने प्रयास गर्थे । मेरो देशलाई क्रिकेटको सबै ढाँचामा लाग्ने प्रयास गर्थेँ । जस्तै हाम्रो देश नेपालको क्रिकेटको आवस्था खासै राम्रो छैन । म राम्रो खेलेर मेरो देशलाई अर्को पटकको विश्वकपमा लग्ने प्रयास गर्थेँ । साथै म मेरो देशलाई टि - २० विश्वकपमा लगेर जित हासिल गर्न योग्य बनाउन प्रयास गर्थेँ । म धेरै टुर्नामेन्टहरू जितेर मेरो देशको नाम उच्च राख्थेँ । म मेरो देशलाई आजसम्म नगएको टुर्नामेन्ट टेस्टमा पनि लगेर टेस्टको विश्वकप जित्ने योग्य बनाउन चाहन्छु । अहिले हाम्रो देशको क्रिकेट टिमलाई अरू देशको क्रिकेट टिमले त्यस्तो राम्रो मान्दैनन् म त्यहाँ गएर हाम्रो देशको नाम प्रसिद्ध गर्न चाहन्छु र उनीहरूको मुख बन्द गर्न चाहन्छु । 

अन्तिममा, म एउटा शिक्षक हुन्थे भने म विद्यार्थीहरूलाई राम्ररी पढाउँथे म उनीहरूलाई सजिलो तरिकाले  सबै कुराहरू सम्झाउँथे । म उनीहरूलाई भविष्यमा एकदम असल व्यक्ति बन्ने तरिकाले पढाउँथे । म उनीहरूलाई देशको मूल कानुनको बारेमा बताउँथे । म उनीहरूलाई हाम्रो देशको अहिलेको परिस्थितिबारे पनि सम्झाउँथे । 

यिनी कुराहरू म देशको लागि गर्न चाहन्छु । मैले देशको लागि गर्ने सक्ने योगदान यिनै हुन् । म देशको विकाश र देशलाई सुधार्नको लागि यिनै काम गर्न चाहन्छु ।

Class - the Hindi version of a Spanish show named Elite. This Hindi version is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, Gul Dharmani, and Kabir Mehta. It is said that 64% of people who have watched this TV show have liked it. It is an absolute masterpiece and shows us the multiple sides of our societal problems.


 

In the very first episode, we get to see that three characters, who seemed to be from a very poor and disturbed background, get shifted to a brand new school. Their families were very poor and couldn't afford a lot of privileges that most rich kids take for granted. Their old government school was burnt down and now they got shifted to this “rich” school where only the wealthiest of them all could afford to go. They got treated very differently and were not as respected around the school. Though the characters, Dheeraj and Sabah, were very smart, they were still looked down on because of their social and economic status while, on the other hand, Ballu was a chaotic character who wanted to look cool in front of the rich.


 

While Dheeraj and Sabah seem to be having a rough time adjusting at the school because of their caste and religion. Sabah gets made fun of for wearing a Hijab while Dheeraj gets picked on because of his caste. Dheeraj also seemed to be having an affair with the daughter of one of the men who was in a partnership with the principal of the school and was practically the reason why the school was still running. Dheeraj and the girl, Suhani’s relationship, was looked down on because of their economic status. While Dheeraj belonged to a very poor family, Suhani was a spoiled girl from one of the richest families. Suhani’s brother was another problem when it came to their relationship. While he himself was falling for Sabah, he hated Dheeraj for being poor and trying to have his sister. The show goes on as we later find out that it was Suhani and her brother, Veer’s, dad’s idea to burn down the school just to get fame by talking about how they gave scholarships to three students of that school. This is a very interesting show and I feel like if I had one wish to make, it would definitely be to watch this show for the very first time. 


 

Nothing can beat that feeling of anxiousness and interest I had when watching this. I loved every single episode. While the English show is great as well, the Hindi version is just as good. The storylines are magnificent and it's amazing to see how forward India has come when it comes to looking at the series and TV shows they are producing at the moment. This show has definitely portrayed our societal problems very well. It was interesting as well as educational in a way.

एउटा सानो सहरमा एउटी केटी बस्थिन् । उनको नाम अद्रिका थियो । अद्रिका निकै जिज्ञासु स्वभावकी थिइन् ।  

एक दिन उनको बिरालो काठको सिँढीहरू र घरको धुलो अटारीमा पुग्यो । अद्रिका माथि नपुगेसम्म उनको बिरालोको पछि पछि लाग्याे ।  जब उनी त्यहाँ पुगिन् । अँध्यारो थियो, एकमात्र उज्यालो मधुरो घामको किरण एउटा भेन्टबाट देखाइएको थियो । अटारीको सानो भागमा सूर्यको किरण चम्किरहेको थियो । उज्यालोमा चम्किरहेको, एकल चाबी थियो । अद्रिकाले बिस्तारै भुँइबाट चाबी उठाई र चाबीमा भएको धुलो उडाई । चाबी चिसो थियो र उनको हातको आकार जस्तै थियो लगभग । उनले ज्याकेटको खल्तीमा चाबी राखिन् र सिँढीबाट तल हिँड्नु अघि आफ्नो बिरालोलाई समातिन् । उसले आफ्नो खुट्टा तल राख्दा सिँढीको प्रत्येक पाइला चर्किन्थ्यो तर उनले रिस उठ्ने आवाजलाई बेवास्ता गरिन् । 


 

दिउँसोको खाना खाइसकेपछि उनी अझै पनि जिज्ञासाले भोकै थिइन् । उनले आफ्ना आमाबाबुलाई चाबी खोल्ने कुरा थाहा छ कि भनेर सोधिन् तर उनीहरू दुवैले आफूलाई थाहा नभएको बताए । त्यसपछि उनले आफ्ना साथीहरू र सहरमा बस्ने अन्य मानिसहरूलाई सोधिन् तर पनि, चाबीले के खोल्यो । कसैलाई थाहा थिएन । 

एक दिन, उनी आफ्नो बिरालोसँग पैदल यात्राको बाटोमा बाहिर हिँडिरहेकी थिइन् जब उनको बिरालो अचानक रूखहरूमा दौडिन थाल्यो तब आद्रिका आत्तिएर आफ्नो बिरालाकाे पछिपछि जङ्गलमा दौडिइन् । अन्ततः, उनले आफ्नो बिरालोलाई समातिन् जो लगभग जङ्गलको छायामा हरायाे । उसको बिरालो एउटा ठुलो तालको छेउँमा दौडिन छाडेको थियो । तालको बिचमा अग्ला रूखहरू र धेरै हरिया बोट बिरुवाहरूले लुकेको घर थियो । 

घर अँध्यारो देखिन्थ्यो । उज्यालो रातो ढोका बाहेक सबै । अद्रिकाले आफ्नो खल्तीबाट चाबीको उर्जा महसुस गरिन् र उनले आफ्नो बिरालोलाई हेरिन् । उनको बिरालोले उनलाई फर्केर हेर्यो, त्यसपछि सिधा घरलाई हेर्यो र म्याऊ  म्याऊ गर्यो । तालको छेउँमा एउटा लामो डुङ्गा थियो जुन पानीमा तरङ्गहरू बनाउँदै थियो । आद्रिकाले आफ्नो बिरालो र रहस्यमय घर दुबैलाई हेरेर लामो डुङ्गाको नजिक जाने निर्णय गरिन् । जब उनी डुङ्गामा पुगिन् उनले आफ्नो खल्तीमा चाबी भएकाे महसुस गरेर बिस्तारै डुङ्गामा चढिन् । जब उनी डुङ्गामा चढिन्, डुङ्गा हल्लियो र उनी झन्डै पानीमा खसिन् । उनी यति उत्सुक र उत्साहित भइन् कि उनले लापरवाही गर्न थालिन् । 

उसले घरमा डुङ्गालाई प्याडल गर्न थाल्यो, यो सधैँको लागि लागे जस्तो लाग्यो, तर दस मिनेट मात्र लाग्यो । केही बेर खुट्टा फैलाएपछि उनी घरतिर हिँड्न थालिन् । जब उनी नजिक पुगिन्  तब घर ठुलो देखिन थाल्यो । अलिकति, डरलाग्दो पनि । उनको खुट्टा काँप्न थाल्यो र हातमा कपाल टाँसिन थाल्यो । के उनी साँच्चै डराएकी थिइन् जब उनी घर पुगेकी थिइन् ? तब उनको हात दुखेको थियो र उनको खुट्टा साँघुरो भएकाे थियो ।  

उनले चाबी छोएर र चाबीको चिसो अनुभूति गर्न थालिन् । बरू उनको हातमा चाबी तातो भएको महसुस भयो उनलाई । उसले आफ्नो खल्तीबाट चाबी निकाल्यो र झन्डै फ्याँकिदिई किनकि त्यो कति तातो थियो ! अन्ततः, उनले चाबी ढोकामा राखिन् र केही गर्नु अघि नै चाबी आफैँ घुम्यो ढोका एक चर्का साथ खोलियो । बिस्तारै घर भित्र पस्दै अद्रिकाले घरको भित्री डिजाइन हेरिन् र आफ्नो दुवै खुट्टा घर भित्र राख्नु अघि उसले बाहिरी संसारलाई अन्तिम पटक हेरी । जब उसको दुवै खुट्टा घर भित्र थियो । उसको पछाडि ढोका बन्द भयो र उसले फेरि खोल्न सकिन । उसले कुञ्जी प्रयोग गर्न खोजी तर यसले काम गर्दैन ।

उनले केही सिँढीहरू देखिन् जुन तल ओर्लिएको थियो र बिस्तारै तिनीहरूतर्फ हिँड्दै अर्को भाग्न तर्फ डोर्‍याउन खोज्दै थियो । जब उनी त्यहाँ पुगिन् । यो सिँढीले भर्खरै पर्खालमा पुर्‍याएको जस्तो देखिन्थ्यो ? उनले जसरी पनि सिँढीहरू तल जाने निर्णय गरिन् । जब उनी पर्खालमा पुगिन् । उनले त्यसमा आफ्नो हात राखिन् र अचानक त्यो पल्टियो । 

अर्कोतिर खाना र धेरै खजाना थियो । यो उनको जीवनभर टिक्नको लागि पर्याप्त खाना र उनको सपना र गाउँका सबैको सपनाको लागि तिर्न पर्याप्त खजाना थियो । अन्त्यमा एउटा चिन्ह सहितको ढोका थियो । चिन्हले भनेको थियो कि उसले एउटा मात्र रोज्न सक्छ । सबै खाना र पैसा आफ्नो लागि राख्न सक्छ । 

अद्रिका वास्तवमा खजाना चाहन्थी । उनले महसुस गरिन् कि यदि उनले खजाना लिइन् भने उनले कुनै स्वतन्त्रता पाउन सक्ने छैन । उनले आफ्ना साथी वा परिवारलाई फेरि कहिल्यै भेट्ने छैनन्  संसारमा कुनै पनि खजाना योभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण छैन । उसको परिवार र साथीभाइ भन्दा । गहिरो सास फेर्दै आद्रिकाले खल्तीबाट चाबी निकाली र हरियो जङ्गलमा फर्केर ढोका खोलिन् । उनको अनुहारमा हावा चल्यो । उनको कपाल खलबलियो, र उनी वरिपरि उडिरहेका चराहरूको गीत सुनाउन सक्थे। उनको आँखामा घामको किरण आयो तर उसले वास्ता गरिन । उसको अनुहार न्यानो भयो । जब उनले घर फर्केर हेरिन् । त्यो घर गइसकेको थियो । जमिनमा एउटै चाबी बाँकी थियो ।

The French Revolution which lasted from 1789 to 1799, stands as a seminal moment in history that not only reshaped France but also left a profound impact on the global political landscape.  The Revolution was propelled by a volatile combination of social inequality, economic crisis, Enlightenment ideals, the influence of the American Revolution, and a monarchy marked by weak leadership under King Louis XVI. These causes laid the groundwork for one of the most turbulent periods in French history.


 

At the heart of the French Revolution were deeply ingrained social inequities. French society was structured into three estates. with the clergy and nobility enjoying a range of privileges while the common people faced heavy taxation and a lack of political representation. This stark disparity in treatment sowed the seeds of discontent among the masses. Furthermore, France was grappling with a severe financial crisis brought on by a combination of factors, including the cost of protracted wars, the extravagant spending of the monarchy, and a regressive tax system. This economic turmoil exacerbated the already glaring divisions in French society, creating a sense of frustration and injustice. Enlightenment ideas were a pivotal catalyst for change. Philosophers such as Voltaire, Rousseau, and Montesquieu championed the principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity. Their works inspired individuals to question the existing social and political order and kindled a desire for reform. The Enlightenment encouraged critical thinking and contributed to the burgeoning revolutionary sentiment. Moreover the successful American Revolution provided a model for the French Revolution. The American Revolution demonstrated that an oppressed populace could rise against a monarchical system and establish a democratic government. This success story from across the Atlantic fueled the French people's aspirations for similar changes within their own borders. Another significant factor in the French Revolution was the weak leadership under King Louis XVI. His reign was marked by indecision, economic mismanagement, and a lack of effective leadership. Louis XVI's inability to address the nation's problems created a leadership vacuum further stoking the flames of discontent. This lack of effective governance left France in a state of vulnerability and volatility.


 

The French Revolution brought about a series of profound and far-reaching consequences. It marked the end of the absolute monarchy in France which was epitomized by the tragic execution of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette. Their deaths signified the triumph of the revolutionary forces and the dethroning of centuries-old dynastic rule. However, the Revolution also witnessed a dark period known as the Reign of Terror which spanned from 1793 to 1794. Under the leadership of Maximilien Robespierre this era was characterized by mass executions and political purges as radical factions sought to eliminate perceived enemies of the revolution. This period instilled fear and division within France. The aftermath of the Reign of Terror led to the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte, who was a military general who would later become First Consul in 1799 and ultimately Emperor. While Napoleon's rule brought a measure of stability and codified laws it also led to expansionist wars across Europe and marked the beginning of a new era in France's history. The French Revolution also had a profound impact on political thought and practice. It introduced the principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity to the world, which would continue to inspire revolutionary movements and constitutional reforms in various nations. The Revolution also triggered a wave of social and legal reforms within France itself. The Napoleonic Code, established in 1804, standardized laws, promoted equality before the law, and abolished feudal privileges. The Revolution led to the redistribution of land, taking it from the nobility and the Catholic Church and placing it into the hands of the common people. This move broke down the traditional feudal system and contributed to a more equitable distribution of wealth within French society. One of the enduring consequences of the Revolution was the emergence of a sense of French nationalism. The Revolution united the country as citizens began to identify more with the nation than with their specific regions or social classes. This newfound national identity would have lasting effects on the course of French history. Moreover the French Revolution had a global impact. It served as a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for various revolutionary movements around the world. In places such as Haiti, Latin America, and Europe, the ideals of liberty, equality, and fraternity began to take root, contributing to political and social change. The Revolution sowed the seeds of modern political ideologies, including liberalism, conservatism, and radicalism.

बिहानको छ बजेको थियो । घाम भर्खर उदाएर आकाश निलो र पहेँलो बादलहरू सुनझैँ उडिरहेका देखिन्थे। त्यो बिहानी एक सुन्दर काल्पनिक चित्रकला जस्तै थियो । अझै पनि त्यस दिनको झल्कोमा भित्र स्पष्ट छ । म कविता आज मैले लेख्न गइरहेकी, मेरो जीवनको एक आनौठो र स्मरणीय यात्रा हो । यो यात्रा बाटोको दुरीमा त केही किलोमिटर मात्र टाढा थियो तर मन र मस्तिष्कमा भने जीवनकै महत्त्वपूर्ण शिक्षा र अनुभवको यात्रा थियो ।

सुमन मेरो अत्यन्त नजिकको साथी मेरो घरबाट केही किलोमिटर पर बस्थ्यो । हामी स्कुलदेखिको मिल्ने साथी एका अर्काकैमार्फत म रमिता र उसनासँग मिलेकी थिएँ । रमिता र उसना मसँग खुब मिल्थे, त्यसकै कारण पनि होला हामी छिट्टै साथी बन्न सक्याैँ । तिनी दुई, सुमनको पुरानो स्कुलका साथी थिए । हामी चार जना अति मिल्थ्याैँ । सायद चार जनाबिच एउटै रुचि र बानी व्यहाेरा भएर पनि होलासस; हाम्रो हरेक कुरा जुर्न पुग्थ्यो । हामी चारै जनाले  साहसिक मन पराउथ्यौँ । नयाँ नयाँ ठाउँ घुम्न जाने र विभिन्न कुराको खोज तलास गर्दै अग्ला अग्ला पहाड चढ्ने हाम्रो रुचि थियो। आजसम्म हामी काठमाडौँको विभिन्न पहाड र पर्वतमा हाइकिङ्ग गईसक्याैँ । त्यस्तै १४ जनवरीमा हामी शनिबार बिहानै सुमनको घर पछाडिबाट देखिने ठुला डाँडा छाड्ने योजनामा थियाैँ । त्यो जङ्गल ठुलो थियो र अहिलेसम्म मैले त्यस ठाउँको केही कुरा सुनेकी छैन । त्यतातिर हाइकिङ गएका मानिस नि मैले देखेकी छैन । यो अलिकति चिन्ताको कुरा थियो । तापनि अनौठो र नयाँ ठाउँको भ्रमण गर्नु नै हाम्रो रुचि थियो  । रमालोको लागि मात्र हामी त्यस दिन त्यो डाँडा चढ्न सहमत भयाैँ । एकातिर हामी सुरक्षा र सावधानीमा त अवश्य ध्यान दिन्थ्याैँ । अझै हामी अनुभवी पनि थियाैँ । त्यसैले शनिबार बिहानै वनजङ्गल डाँडातिर जाने योजना राख्दै हामी घरबाट निस्कने तयारीमा थियाैँ।

हामी जानुभन्दा दिनकै अगाडिको रात मैले त्यस ठाउँको केही जानकारी पाउन अनलाइनमा खोज्न सुरु गरेकी थिएँ । तर अनौठो कुरा त्यस ठाउँको कुनै पनि जानकारी थिएन । त्यस ठाउँको केही जानकारी नपाएपछि मनमा धेरै कुरा खेलाउँदै सुतेछु ।

हामी बिहानै उठ्याैँ । आफूलाई चाहिने समान र केही खानेकुरा झोलामा हाली हामी तयार भयाैँ। सुमनले आफ्नो क्यामराको लेन्स सफा गर्दै बस आउन लागेको कुरा बतायो । हामी झोला बोकी बस लाग्ने ठाउँसम्म पुग्याैँ । त्यति बेला करिब ६:३० भएको थियो । म आफ्नो मोबाइल झिकेर आमालाई फोन गर्न लागेकी थिएँ । ठ्याक्कै बस पनि आइपुग्यो। हामी बस चढ्याैँ । हाम्रो यात्रा सुरु भयो । बसको झ्यालबाट हेर्दै मेरो नजर वनडाँडाको तल्लोतिर घरैघर भएको एउटा सानो बस्तीमा पुग्यो । त्यो बस्तीसम्म पुग्न केवल १०, १५ मिनेट लाग्यो । हामी चार जनाकै अनुहारमा एक किसिमको खुसी र उत्साहा झल्केको थियो।

केही बेरमा हामी बस्तीमा पुग्याैँ । केही दुरीमा सानासाना घरहरू प्रस्टै देखिन्थे । बस रोकेको ठाउँबाट पनि हामी अझै  केही पर हिँड्नुपर्थ्यो । हामी चारजना बाटैबाटो हिँड्दै एउटा ठुलो रुखको छेवैँमा पुग्याैँ । त्यस रुखको छेवैँमा एउटा ठुलाे साइन्बोर्ड थियो । त्यस बोर्डमा वनडाँडा जाने बाटो भनेर ठुला  अक्षरमा लेखिएको थियो ।
