The Mysterious Forest
- Sarthak Poudel - 29067, Grade ... 25 March, 2024

There was once a boy named Ricky. He was very intelligent and good looking. He was good at study, sports and also was good looking. Once, he went camping with his friends. There were 6 people in total and 2 were girls and the rest were boys. The names of the girls were Samantha and Riya. It was a mysterious jungle. He had gone to the campsite. Everything was going normal but when he touched Samantha their body got exchanged but the souls and memory remained the same.

Everybody was astonished. They didn’t know what was happening. Everybody got frightened and told each other to not touch anybody as it could be the key for the mysterious body exchange. Everybody started asking Ricky and Samantha about if they knew how it was done.

Ricky told them that he had fallen into a lake and got soaked. He got a little dried while coming to the campsite and only his clothes were wet. When he touched Samantha their body got exchanged. Everybody was searching for the same lake but couldn’t find it. They all had called their parents and told them that they would be sleeping there only and might come tomorrow evening. Ricky and his friends started searching for the same lake in which Ricky had fallen thinking that by falling into the lake again and touching Samantha who is in Ricky’s body.

After searching for the whole night they found a weird place which was full of beautiful flowers. They also were very aware of themselves that they might not touch something else which may cause new trouble. Ricky, who is in Samantha’s body, went into the lake and touched Samantha who is in Rocky’s body. Nothing had happened but after a minute passed their body changed and thought that their idea was right. After their bodies got exchanged again they had also found an emerald. Rocky had taken it and was showing everyone.

A black creature which looked like a butterfly had come and took the emerald in an instant and started flying away. Ricky jumped as high as he could but couldn’t reach it. He heard a voice of his mom saying,” Wake up Ricky, get ready for school!”. Ricky opened his eyes and thought that it was a dream but in his hand there still was the emerald and thought it might cause him trouble so he threw the emerald in a river later.

Mina and her Doll
- Anshu Rajbhandari - 29008, Gr ... 21 March, 2024

Mina used to be a beautiful, joyful, well mannered little girl. She always greeted her relatives when they came over. She had a beautiful doll which she carried everywhere with her. It was like her child. She was very obsessed with her doll. One day, she felt a very sharp pain. Her parents took her to the doctors and the doctors examined her. After a few days the doctors gave her mother the report with a very sad face. The mother panicked. Her daughter had cancer. Her and her family were all devastated. They had little money and couldn't afford the treatment. They all tried everything to save their little girl, but because of the store policy, the treatment would be done only after payment.

They lost their child. Mina’s mother and father were crying all day and night hoping to see their daughter for one last time. The mother was depressed. She couldn't stop hugging her doll. It was the only thing left of her daughter. One day, a strange thing happened, Mina’s mother found out she was pregnant. They did not plan for this to happen. After 9 months, they found out that the gender of the baby was a girl. They were happy. They realised that their new baby looked like Mina when she was just born. They gave her the doll that Mina always used to play with. Mira (their new child ) grew up looking exactly like her older sister. Her personality was exactly like her sister, her appearance, her favourite colour, favourite food everything was like her older sister. One day when Mira  was 10 years old, her mom saw her burying her doll in the same place they buried Mina. They cried together, overwhelmed by the bittersweet memories flooding back. Mira looked up at her mother with tears in her eyes and said, "I'm giving my sister her doll back. I know she's watching over us, and she needs it more than I do now." In that moment, the mother realised that Mina's spirit was living on through Mira, bringing them solace and healing their broken hearts. They hugged each other tightly, finding comfort in the love that transcended loss and connected them forever.

As Mira gently placed the doll on the ground, she whispered, "I'll take care of her for you, big sister." The mother knelt beside her, holding her hand, feeling a profound sense of gratitude for this unexpected gift of resemblance and spirit. Together, they adorned the makeshift grave with flowers, a tribute to the bond that persisted beyond life itself. From that day forward, Mira carried her sister's memory in her heart, guided by an invisible thread of love that bound them together across time and space. And though they continued to grieve, they also found moments of joy, knowing that Mina's legacy lived on through Mira's kind gestures and gentle spirit. As the years passed, Mira grew into a compassionate and empathetic young woman, embodying the qualities that once defined her sister. She found solace in caring for others, just as Mina had cared for her beloved doll.

Each year, on Mina's birthday, they visited her grave together, sharing stories and laughter amidst the tears. And though the pain of loss never truly faded, it was softened by the warmth of Mira's presence and the enduring love of their family. As they stood together, gazing at the sky, they felt Mina's spirit surrounding them, a gentle reminder that she was never truly gone. And in that moment, they knew that love was the strongest force in the universe, capable of transcending even the darkest of times. As Mira approached her teenage years, her parents cherished every moment with her, knowing all too well the fragility of life. They filled their days with laughter and adventure, creating memories that would last a lifetime. But tragedy struck one fateful evening when a drunk driver crashed into their car, shattering their world once again.

Mira's parents were taken from her in an instant, leaving her orphaned and alone. Devastated by the loss of her beloved parents, Mira found herself grappling with grief once more, her heart heavy with sorrow. With no other family to turn to, she was thrust into the foster care system, navigating a world that felt unfamiliar and cold. Yet, amidst the darkness, she clung to the memories of her family, finding solace in their love and the moments they shared.Despite the pain that threatened to consume her, Mira persevered, drawing strength from the legacy of resilience passed down by her parents and sister. She vowed to honor their memory by living her life with purpose and compassion, determined to make a difference in a world that had been so cruel to her.And though she carried the weight of loss with her always, Mira found moments of light in unexpected places – a kind word from a stranger, a shared laugh with a friend reminders that even in the midst of tragedy, there was still beauty to be found. As the years passed, Mira grew into a young woman of remarkable courage and grace, her spirit unbroken despite the trials she had endured. And though she would never forget the family she had lost, she found comfort in the knowledge that their love would always be with her, guiding her through life's darkest moments and lighting the path ahead. With a heavy heart, Mira made the solemn decision to lay her parents to rest beside her sister's grave, uniting them in eternal peace.

In the quiet of the cemetery, surrounded by the whispers of the wind and the gentle rustle of leaves, she bid her final farewell to the family she had loved so dearly. Every day, without fail, Mira made the journey to the cemetery, a bouquet of wildflowers in hand. With each step, she felt the weight of her loss, but also the warmth of their presence, guiding her along the path. Standing before the graves of her parents and sister, she found solace in the memories they shared, recounting stories of laughter and love that echoed through the years. As she knelt beside the headstones, Mira spoke to them as though they were still there, sharing her hopes and fears, her triumphs and struggles. And though she knew they could not answer, she felt their presence all around her, a comforting embrace in her darkest moments. In the quiet of the cemetery, amidst the flowers and the fading light, Mira found a sense of peace, knowing that her family was together once more, watching over her from above. And as she turned to leave, she carried their love with her, a beacon of hope in a world that often seemed so cold and unforgiving.

My Experience With Codewalk 1.0
- Aadhya Shri Poudel - 30001, G ... 20 March, 2024

Codewalk 1.0 was organised by Deerwalk Sifal School on 27, Magh. During Codewalk 1.0, I was one of the presenters for the website Rhythmic Strings, created by our group ‘Nava’. We arrived at the school at 9:00 a.m. to finish the remaining work. We found errors in the spelling of members' names on Chart Paper 1, as well as problems with the previous group's name due to poor handwriting. We corrected these and added decorative elements, such as butterflies, which resembled a book to us. Later, we filled the empty spaces on the third chart with the peepal leaf, creating a welcoming chart displayed at the entrance of our stall. Additionally, we arranged 3D instruments on our display. They looked fantastic, and we also attached a picture to the front of the table.

Our website, named Rhythmic Strings, features a top navigation bar with sections for members, including their email ID and names, and a contact page for reaching out to us. There's also a sign-in option for successful login. On the homepage, four instruments—piano, drums, ukulele, and guitar—are showcased, allowing users to choose which one they want to learn about. The website is organised into four categories:

Origin: Learn about the history and invention of each instrument.

Structure: Explore the different parts of each instrument through the provided diagrams.

How to play: Access links to instructional videos for learning to play the instruments.

Play: Enjoy virtual instrument play, allowing users to play without the need for physical instruments.

To present our creation on the codewalk was a wonderful experience for me and my group members.

Being Mindful of Time
- Sambridhi Gelal - 29063, Grad ... 19 March, 2024

Time is one of the most powerful things in the world. It is only a thing which cannot be compared with anything. Our life is too short but we have a lot of work to do and that’s the reason, we should manage our time properly. Time is precious because we do not know what will happen tomorrow in our life and it is unlike money. The reason behind this is that we all know how much money is with us but we do not know how much time is with us. So, money lost can be earned again, but once the time is gone, we can not find it back and it is gone forever.

Importance of time expresses how short our lives are. There is a saying that “Time and tide wait for no man” which means time and tide does not wait for anyone and once the time is gone, it is gone forever and can’t be returned. It is the one who is controlling everyone. In our community, there are some people who are wasting their time in gambling, entertainment, backbiting and they should realize the importance of every moment and utilize it properly because waste of time is a waste of life. So it is very important to make a routine to use the time properly.

To manage the time properly, we should first decrease the unnecessary activities from our daily routine and we should also include creative and traveling time in the routine. Most importantly, we should make a time table where we can write our daily activities which will create discipline in us and help us to complete the task in time.

We lived our past and we cannot change it. The only thing we can do is to learn something from our past. The present is the most precious time which will choose our  future, so we should focus on our present and if we understand the value of time, we can gain great achievement in our life, so we should not waste our time and utilize it properly.

Abandoned Hotel in the Middle of the Forest (Part 1)
- Rudrayani Shrestha - 30025, G ... 18 March, 2024

Once, there were two friends whose vacation had started. Their names were Anna and Rizan. They were almost 17 and 18 years old. They decided to leave the valley and go to a place called Japan, where they would stay in a hotel in the middle of Aokigahara Forest—one of the horror forests in Japan. The hotel was named Old Man’s Hotel, and they stayed in room 301. Initially, they thought the room was normal. However, strange noises could be heard at night. Anna and Rizan were the only two people in the hotel. Isn't it strange?

Despite Anna and Rizan sensing that something wasn't right, they attributed the strange noises to the wind and did not think much of it. The next day, they ran into a friend who had left the country long ago. As they engaged in conversation, the friend said, “Hey, Anna and Rizan, it's a pleasure to meet you two again. What are you doing here?”

Anna replied, “Ah, hey Lena. It's good to meet you after a long time as well. We are here for vacation. We were bored visiting the same places every vacation.”

Lena suggested, “Let’s go to my house and talk.”

Anna and Rizan agreed. After some time, they reached Lena’s house, which was huge.

Curious about where Anna and Rizan were staying, Lena asked, “Where are you guys living?”

Rizan answered, “We are staying in a hotel in the middle of Aokigahara Forest. It's called Old Man's Hotel.”

Lena was shocked upon hearing about the hotel in the middle of the forest. Anna asked her why she was shocked.

In a fearful tone, Lena explained, “The hotel named Old Man's Hotel was closed a long time ago because people used to hear strange noises. Many people had been killed in that hotel.”

Anna and Rizan were shocked and afraid after hearing what Lena had said.

What were the strange noises about? People screaming, crying, and asking for help—did nobody hear that? Different questions filled everyone's minds, but they all had an answer. The days Anna and Rizan spent in the hotel—what was all that?

To be continued...
