गीता काठमाडौँमा बस्थी । उसको घरमा चार जनाको सदस्य थिए ।  घरको आर्थिक अवस्था राम्रै थियो ।  उच्च वर्गीय परिवारमा जन्मेकी गीताको संस्कार पनि राम्रो थियो  ।  ऊ कक्षा १० मा पढ्थी। घरका काममा पनि सकेसम्म आमालाई सघाउँथी । तर उसकी दिदी समिता भने ऊभन्दा निकै भिन्न स्वभावकी थिई । उसलाई आफ्ना परिवारको कुनै वास्ता हुँदैनथ्यो। उसका आमाबुवा दुवै छोरीका  स्वभावबारे तुलना गर्थे ।  
समिता विद्यालयका अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलाप नाच,गान तथा खेलकुद सबैमा सक्रिय थिई। गीता पढाइ लेखाइका अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलापमा पनि सामान्य नै थिई  ।  यसै कारणले उनका अभिभावक उनीहरू भेदभाव गर्थे । आफ्ना आमाबाबुको दिदी र आफूमा भएको फरक व्यवहारले ऊ निकै दु:खी थिई । समय बित्दै गयो। गीताको पढाइ लेखाइ बिग्रिदै गयो । आमाबाबुसँगको सम्बन्ध पनि त्यति राम्रो थिएँ।  परिवारको मायाबाट ऊ वन्चित हुन थाली। उसको सङ्गत खराब बाटोमा लागेका साथीहरूसँग हुन थाल्यो । 
एक दिन उनीहरूको कक्षामा नयाँ साथी आई । उसको नाम सुनिता थियो। सुनिता त्यो विद्यालयमा आएको थोरै समयमा नै शिक्षकहरूको मन जित्न सफल भई। ऊ असल छात्रा थिई। सुनिता र गीता छिट्टै  साथी बने। सुनिताको सङ्गत गीतामा  छिट्टै पर्यो । सुनिता सङ्घर्षशील छात्रा थिई । गीताले आफ्ना कुरा सबै सुनितालाई सुनाई । उसले गीतालाई सङ्घर्ष गर्न सिकाई । गीताले आफूलाई सबल र सक्षम ठान्न थाली।  उसले हरेक कामलाई सहज मान्न थाली । उसको जीवनमा निकै परिवर्तन आउन थाल्यो। उसले  हरेक काममा सफलता पाउन थाली । यो देखेर उसका बुबाआमाले पनि उसलाई माया गर्न थाले । बाबुआमाको माया पाउन थालेपछि उसले झन् झन् प्रगति गर्दै जान थाली । फलस्वरूप ऊ एस. इ. इ. परीक्षामा नेपाल प्रथम भई । उसलाई विद्यालय,साथीहरू र आफन्त सबैले बधाई दिन थाले । उसले यसका पछाडि आफ्नी साथी सुनिताको सङ्गत भएको बताई। 

In a small village in Bajura, there was a young boy named Kamal. He had been living in Bajura since he was born. He was leading a happy and a normal life until one day he realized something. He realized that it had been fourteen years since he had been living in the village but the condition of Bajura awas still the same as it was 14 years ago. No development of any facilities had taken place. Although the people were content with the condition, there was a need for development there. So, Kamal decided that he would be the one starting the first step of development in his village. He firstly wanted to develop the drinking water of his village. People had to walk for miles just to bring a bucket of water. He decided that he would make a device which extracted drinking water from underground water. The next day, he bought motors and filter paper and started to create the device. He worked for two days continuously but he wasn’t successful in creating anything. He started getting frustrated and also thought that there were no chances of developing Bajura. He felt very helpless and hopeless. His parents started noticing his condition and asked him what was wrong. He tells them about how he wanted to create a device that extracted drinking water from underground water so that he could develop his village but after working for two days continuously, he couldn’t get any outcome. After that, his parents told him that a huge amount of work like that requires some time and perseverance. They also made him realize that to succeed in making such a huge and complex device, he should first learn how to make small and easily operable machines. Kamal then understood his mistake. After that day, he started learning how to make small machines from small motors. He also started reading books on mechanics. He worked on it patiently for two years. Finally, after two years of struggle and hardships,  he made a proper device to extract drinking water. This really contributed a lot to the development of Bajura village. In the beginning, no villagers had supported him. They told him that they were content with the situation but Kamal made them realize that maybe walking for a long distance to bring a few buckets of water was  considered normal in the past but time changes and we need to grow and develop along with the pace of time. We must stay updated with the technology in this modern era. If we do not long for progress and are satisfied with what we have, we can never develop. After the villagers realized this, they helped and supported Kamal in his mission to develop Bajura. Many youths who had learned about mechanics assisted him by sharing their knowledge and applying it practically. After two continuous years of struggle, he finally got his outcome. This made him understand that patience is the key to success. To achieve a big outcome, one should always start from the basics. From that day onwards, Kamal and the villagers of Bajura were involved actively in making their village a beautiful and developed village. Finally, Bajura was no longer an underdeveloped place; instead it was a clean village with lots of facilities and technologies.
 

'बोक्सी'शीर्षक कथामा कक्षाका सबै जना विद्यार्थीहरू मिसलाई कथा सुनाउन आग्रह गर्छन् । बिनु नामकी एक विद्यार्थीले बोक्सीको कथा सुनाउन भन्छिन् । उनले पत्रिकामा बोक्सीले मान्छे मारेका कारण बोक्सीलाई जिउँदै जलाएको कुरा पढेको पनि मिसलाई भन्छिन् । त्यसपछि मिसले समाजमा बोक्सी भन्ने कोही पनि हुँदैन र जो स्वास्नी मान्छेहरू सोझा हुन्छन् र अरूलाई थिचोमिचो गर्न सक्दैनन्, तिनीहरूलाई नै बोक्सी ठहर्याइन्छ भनेर सम्झाइन् । यो कुरा भनेपछि बिनु एक्दमै त्रसित हुन्छिन् । उसलाई आफ्नी सोझी हजुरआमाको याद आउँछ । हजुरआमा एकदमै ज्ञानी र सोझी हुनुहुन्थ्यो । उहाँले आफ्ना छोराछोरीलाई कहिल्यै गाली गर्नु भएन र कहिल्यै पिट्नु पनि भएन । सम्पत्तिको नाममा पनि कहिल्यै झैझगडा गर्नुभएन । घर आइपुगेपछि पनि बिनुको मनमा यस्तै कुराहरू घुमिरह्यो । देवीले सम्झी उसको अजी पनि एकदमै सोझी हुनुहुन्थ्यो र एक दिन काकाकाकीले अजी बोक्सी हो भनेर घरबाट निकालिदिए । अजी खोलामा हाम फालेर मर्न पनि लाग्नु भएको थियो तर बाले फिर्ता ल्याउनु भयो भन्ने कुरा देवीले भनेकी थिइन् । त्यसपछि बिनु आफ्नी हजुरआमाको छातीमा घोप्टो परेर रुँदै, “हजुर बाठी हुनुहोस्; सोझो भयो भने समाजले बोक्सी भनेर जिउँदै जलाइदिन्छ ।” भन्छिन् । आफ्नै कोठामा ढल्केर उनी सोच्छिन् कि यही समाजमा कति कर्कशा आइमाईहरू छन् तर तिनीहरूलाई कसैले बोक्सी भन्दैनन्, उल्टै कति राम्रा भन्छन् । सोझी महिलाहरूलाई चाहिँ बोक्सी भनेर अवहेलना गरिन्छ । बिनु यो समाजलाई सम्झिँदै दु:खी भएर निदाउँछिन् ।

चरित्रचित्रण:
शीला: ‘सङ्कल्प’ कथामा शीला प्रमुख नारी पात्रको रूपमा उपस्थित भएकी छिन् । उनले आफ्ना परिवार, र समाजबाट उमा र रानु जस्ता कुमारी कन्याहरूको बारेमा धेरै कुरा काटेको सुनेपछी आफ्नो जीवनको बारेमा सोच्न थाल्छिन् । ऊ अरू गाउँलेहरूभन्दा एकदमै ज्ञानी थिइन् । समाजका कुराहरू सुनेर उसले रानु र उमाको बारेमा केही भन्दिनथिन् । उनी कथामा जिज्ञासु, स्थिर र अनुकूल पात्रको रूपमा कथामा प्रस्तुत भएकी छिन् ।

तृष्णा: कथामा सहायक पात्रको रूपमा आएकी छिन् । तृष्णा एकदमै बुझक्की तथा सहयाेगी पात्र हुन् । उनले आफ्नो परिवारलाई सधैँ खुसी देख्न चाहन्थिन् । आफ्नी बुहारीलाई बुहारी नभएर छोरी सरह ठान्थिन् । त्यसैले तृष्णा एक गतिशील तथा अनुकूल पात्रको रूपमा उपस्थित भएकी छिन् ।

भावेश: कथाकाे मुख्य पात्र हाे । उसले आमाको खुसीको लागि विवाह त गर्यो तर उसको मनमा अर्कै केटी थिई । उसले आफ्नी प्रेमिकासँग विवाह गरेन । आफूले विवाह गरेर ल्याएकी श्रीमतीलाई मारिदियो । उसले एक निर्दोष महिलाको हत्या गर्यो  । एउटीसँग विवाह गरेर अर्की युवतीसँग शारीरिक सम्बन्ध राखेको थियो । त्यसैले भावेश एक स्थिर तथा प्रतिकूल पात्रको रूपमा यस कथामा उपस्थित छ ।

चञ्चला: कथामा चञ्चला एक प्रमुख पात्रका रूपमा आएकी छिन् । उनी एक ज्ञानी महिला हुन् । आफूले भावेशलाई जतिसुकै माया गरे पनि भावेशले त्यस्तो अन्याय गरेपछि उनले ऊसँग नबसेर अर्कै मान्छेसँग जीवन बिताउने निर्णय पनि गरिन् ।आफूले चिठी लेखेर उनले भावेशलाई उसको गल्ती महसुस गराइन् । त्यसैले चञ्चला गतिशील, अनूकुल पात्रको रूपमा  कथामा प्रस्तुत भएकी छिन् ।

बिनु: कथामा प्रमुख पात्रका रूपमा उपस्थित भएकी छिन् । उनी एक ज्ञानी बालिका हुन् । उनले सबै कुराहरू बुझेर हजुरआमालाई समाजका लाञ्छनाबाट बचाउनका लागि हजुरआमालाई सोझी नहुनु बाठी हुनु भन्छिन् । बोक्सी भनेर सोझी महिलालाई फसाउने कुराले उसको मन काँप्छ । बिनु कथामा गतिशील तथा अनुकूल पात्रको रूपमा कथामा प्रस्तुत भएकी छिन् ।

हजुरआमा: हजुरआमा एक प्रमुख पात्रका रूपमा आएकी छिन् । उनी एक सोझी महिला हुन् जसले सरसम्पत्तिको नाममा कहिल्यै पनि कसैसँग झगडा गरिनन् । आफ्नै छोराछोरीहरू माथि पनि कहिल्यै हात उठाइनन् । कसैले आफ्ना सन्तानको बारेमा केही भन्यो भने उनी चुपचाप लागेर बस्दिनथिन् । हजुरआमा एक स्थिर अनूकुल पात्रको रूपमा यस कथामा प्रस्तुत भएकी छिन् । 
परिवेश: 
‘सङ्कल्प’ कथामा शीलाको कोठा, बजार, वीर अस्पताल र शीलाको घर स्थलगत परिवेशको रूपमा आएको छ । यी घटनाहरू कथाको अवस्थागत परिवेशको रूपमा आएका छन् । 'भत्किएको किनारा' नामक कथामा सुर्खेत, विराटनगर, भावेशको घर लगायतका अन्य ठाउँहरू स्थलगत परिवेशका रूपमा आएका छन् । 'बोक्सी' कथामा बिनुको विद्यालय, बिनुको घर, हजुर आमको कोठा, अजीको घरलगायतका अन्य ठाउँहरू पनि  कथामा स्थलगत परिवेशको रूपमा आएका छन् । यस्तै कालगत परिवेशको रूपमा भने बेलुका र रातीको समय आएको छ । कथामा समाजले कसरी सोझी महिलाहरूलाई बोक्सी भनेर ठहर्याएर मारेका र जिउँदै जलाएका छन् भन्ने कुरा बताइएको छ । यो घटना उपन्यासको अवस्थागत परिवेश हो । 
भाषाशैली:
प्रस्तुत कथाको भाषा शैली एकदमै सरल र सहज छ । नेपाली समाज त्यसमा पनि सामान्य साक्षर जाे काेहीले बुझ्ने भाषाकाे प्रयाेगले कथालाई उत्कृष्ट बनाएकाे छ । कथामा केही  तत्सम शब्दकाे प्रयाेग भए पनि समग्रमा भाषाशैली बाेधगम्य  नै  छ ।
निष्कर्ष:
'भत्किएको किनारा' कथा सङ्ग्रहमा जम्मा १३ वटा कथाहरु रहेका छन् । ती सबै कथाहरू एकदमै भिन्न विषयवस्तु समाज र घटनालाई प्रतिनिधत्व गरेका छन् । धेरै कथाहरू घटना प्रधान छन् । समाजमा घटेका विभिन्न घटनाहरूलाई यस कथा सङ्ग्रहमा समेटिएको छ । यो किताब पढेर मानिसहरूले आफ्नो समाजमा देखिने र सुनिने घटनाहरूलाई अझै राम्ररी बुझ्न सक्छन् । यस कथा सङ्ग्रहले पाठकहरू चेतना पनि फैलाएको छ । सबैजसाे कथाले  पठकको मन सजिलै छुन सक्छ । म यो कथा सङ्ग्रह अरूलाई पनि सिफारिस गर्छु । १२ वर्ष नाघेकाहरूका लागि यो पुस्तक निकै नै राम्रो छ । 
 

There once was a small and peaceful village near a jungle. People of the village are also very helpful and co-operative. There also lived a boy named Sam who was 15 years old. He was good in his studies and always used to finish his assignments on time. He had a goal to make robots and be acknowledged by everyone. One day he talked about how he wanted to make a robot. His parents alo thought it was a good idea and gave him money to buy the important things needed for a robot.

He started to make a robot and it was completed after 1 month. But it didn't go the way he wanted. It did not function and that disappointed him. He was planning to quit but his parents encouraged him that he should not quit and work harder. After hearing from his parents he decided that he would not quit and work even harder. Then he again started making something. He told his friends about his idea and the friends decided to help him. They all worked together and made a remote control car. It took them 3 months to make it. They were happy when the car functioned. 

Then Sam decided that everything is possible and he started to make robots on his own. Days passed and  he started making more developed robots until the day he was acknowledged by everyone. The moral of the story is that we should never give up on our dreams and keep moving forward.

कथावस्तु: 
‘सङ्कल्प’ शीर्षक कथामा शिला भन्ने पात्रले आफ्नो गाउँमा कुमारी कन्याहरुको बारेमा धेरै मानिसहरुले कुरा काटेको देख्छे र सुन्छे । शिलाकी दिदीले उसलाई सधैँभरि कुमारी कन्या भएर परिवारको नाक कटाउने कि विवाह गर्ने भनेर प्रश्न सोध्छिन् । त्यसपछि चनमती र न्याउलीले उमाको बारेमा कुरा गर्न थाल्छन् । के कुरा गरिरहेका भनेर उसको मनमा जिज्ञासा हुन्छ । शीलाले गुरुआमालाई उमाको बारेमा सोध्छे । जसले आफ्नो प्रेमीले धोका दिएपछि विवाह नगरेर माइतमै बस्थी तर गाउँलेहरुले उमा कुमारी भएको कुरालाई धेरै बढाइचढाइ सुनाएर उसको चरित्र माथि औँला उठाउन थालेका थिए भन्ने कुर बताउँछिन् । त्यो कुरा सुनेपछि भविष्यमा ऊ पनि उमा जस्तै कुमारी हुने हो कि भन्ने कुरा सोच्न थाल्छे । एकदिन अमिताले शिलालाई रानुको बारेमा बताउँछे । रानु आत्महत्या गरेर मरेकी थिई । गाउँलेहरूले रानु गर्भवती भएर आत्महत्या गरेको भन्ने ठान्छन् र जब डाक्टरले रानु गर्भवती थिइनन् भन्ने कुरा पुष्टि गर्छन् तब पनि कसैले पत्याउँदैनन् र एउटी मृत महिलाको पनि कुरा काट्न छुटाउँदैनन् । यसपछि शीलाले ऊ, उमा र रानु कोही जस्तो नबनेर विवाह गर्ने र आफ्नो कुमारीत्व आफ्नै लोग्नेलाई दिने फैसला गर्छे ।

'भत्किएका किनारा' शीर्षक कथामा भावेशकी आमाको नातिनातिना खेलाउने इच्छ अधुरो रहन आटेको थियो । उसको छोरा भावेशले विवाह नै नगर्ने निर्णय लिएपछि आमालाई भावेशको आँखामा कोही छ कि भन्ने शङ्का गर्छिन् । कोही छ भन्ने हल्ला पनि सुनेकी थिइन् । भावेश केही समयपछि आमालाई भेट्न बिराटनगर आइपुग्छ र आमाले फेरि विवाह गर् भनेर कर गर्नुहुन्छ । त्यसपछि उसले पान्देकी छोरीसँग विवाह गर्न स्वीकार गर्छ । उसको मनमा त अर्कै केटी थिई । त्यसैकारणले उसले आफ्नी श्रीमती सवितालाई सुर्खेत लैजान मान्दैन तर आमाले कर गरेको कारण लैजाने निर्णय गर्छ । तर त्यसरात उसको मनमा विभिन्न कुराहरू घुम्न थाल्यो । विवाह त आमाको कारण गरेको थियो तर अब आफ्नी प्रेमिकालाई आफ्नी श्रीमती कसरी देखाउने भन्ने कुराले ऊ रातभर साेचमग्न भयाे । भोलिपल्ट सुर्खेत जाँदा तृष्णाले बुहारीलाई नियास्रो हुन नदिनु भनेर आँसु चुहाउँदै बिदा गरिन् । भावेश र सविता सुर्खेत पुग्ने बित्तिकै सबैको आखा शङ्कालु हुन थाल्यो । भावेश रुँदै आफ्नी प्रेमिका चञ्चलासँग गएर उसको साथ कहिल्यै पनि नछोड्ने वाचा गर्यो । तर चञ्चला छियाछिया भइसकेकी थिइन् । उनी भावेशले चाटिसकेकी एउटी जुठो थिइन् । उसको वरिपरिका ती बलिया किनाराहरू भत्किसकेका थिए । चञ्चला रोइन् कराइन् र आफ्नो दुःख व्यक्त गरिन् । उनका अनुसार भावेशले चञ्चलालाई आफ्नो भन्ने र सवितासँग विवाह गरेर उनलाई छोडेर जाने निर्णय निकै नै गलत थियो । उनको मन छिया छिया भइसकेको थियो र अब उनको मन टाल्ने कोही पनि थिएन । भावेशले चञ्चला उसकै हो र आफू पनि चञ्चला कै हो अरू कोही बिचमा आउँदैन भनेर बताउँछ । त्यसपछि चञ्चला चुप लागिन् । भावेशका साथीहरुले बिहेभोज मागे र उसले स्वीकार गर्यो तर स्वीकार गर्नुपछाडि एउटा कारण रहेको थियो । भोजमा भावेशको माया देखेर सविता निकै खुसी भएकी थिइन् तर केही समयपछि उनलाई रिङ्गटा चल्छ र सविता भुइमा लडिन् तर उनलाई बचाउन  कोही पनि आएन । भावेश त झन् उसको र चञ्चलाको भविष्यको बारेमा सोच्दै रमाएर बस्यो । भोलिपल्ट भएपछि अरूलाई देखाउनका लागि उसले सवितालाई एयरपोर्टसम्म लग्यो तर उसको प्राण गइसकेकाे थियाे । सविताका आमाबुबालाई छोरीको विवाह भएको एक महिनाभित्र नै ज्यान गएकाले असह्य पीडा भएकाे थियाे । तृष्णालाई पनि आफ्नी बुहारी फुड पोइजनले बितेको भनेर विश्वाश लागेको थिएन । आफ्नो छोरो भएका कारणले गर्दा केही पनि बोल्न सकिनन् । भावेशको मनभरि फूल फुलेका थिए । अब आफ्नी प्रेमीकालाई सुर्खेत गएर अङ्गाल्छु भनेर सोच्यो । तर सुर्खेत पुगेपछि त्यहाँको माहोल उसले सोचेभन्दा भिन्न थियो । चञ्चलाले उसका लागि एउटा चिठी छोडेकी रहिछिन् । भावेशले त्यो चिठी खोल्यो र सोही चिठीमा चञ्चलाले एउटा गल्ती मात्र गर्दा त छियाछिया भएको मुटु सविताको हत्या गरेपछि त मेरो मन र भावना सबै भास्सिइकेको छ । सविताले एक सभ्य पति खोजेकी थिइन् तर भावेश त कठोर मन भएका हत्यारा भएकाले आफ्नाे पनि पति हुन नसक्ने कुरा ञ्चलाले चिठीमा लेखेकी थिइन् ।  उनले एउटा शिक्षकसँग विवाह गरिन् । शिक्षकको एउटी छोरी पनि रहिछिन् । आफ्नो पेटमा भएको त्यो भावेशको सन्तानलाई पनि उनले शिक्षककै नाम दिने निर्णय लिइन् । उनी आफ्नो कोखमा भएको बच्चालाई एउटा कठोर मन भएको हत्याराको नाम नराख्ने निर्णयले खुसी  भइन् । चिठी पढेपछि भावेशको मन पनि छियाछिया भयो । तर यो सबै कुरा उसले आफैँले गरेको कर्मको फल नै थियो । उसले भत्काएको किनाराले उसलाई दुःखी बनायाे ।

Nicole was a girl who was born in a very poor family. She lived in New york. Her family had to work overtime just to provide her education.Their life was getting complicated day by day as Nicole was getting older and they had to fulfill her needs and provide her quality education. After some time Nicole’s parents had to do multiple jobs in order to run the family. Things got even more complicated.

After Nicole became old enough to understand her family’s problem she decided to quit her studies. Her parents denied and even had an argument with her. Nicole tried to convince her parents time and again, but it didn’t work. Her parents promised to take full responsibility until she became independent and responsible. After a few months, Nicole again tried to convince her parents. This time she said that she only wanted books and she would study by herself. They denied at the beginning as Nicole was not that good in her studies. She used to get distracted very easily while working on something. She tried convincing more and more. Seeing Nicole being stubborn her mother got very irritated and angry. She yelled at her and asked her to follow what their parents told. Nicole had never seen her mom getting this angry. After some time her parents talked about it and decided to let Nicole quit her studies. They agreed under one condition that Nicole could study by herself for 1 year and if she couldn’t focus she would have to go back to school. Nicole then started studying by herself. She never paid much attention in the class so she had to begin everything from the very beginning. After a few days, she started regretting her decision. She couldn’t understand anything. One day she saw her parents struggling to get groceries due to lack of money. This made her very sad and she decided to do whatever she can in order to be successful and help her parents financially. After studying for about 3 months she decided to give up on her studies. She didn’t tell her parents about this. After giving up on her studies she decided to start up her small business. She started collecting beads, pearls and recycled her mom’s old jewelleries which were of no use. She cleaned and even polished the pearls and started making jewelleries. In her first attempt she failed. She went in the streets and asked people if they wanted to buy it. Most of them denied, some of them even made fun of her jwelleries. She even asked some of her friends to give her their old jewellery. Most of them did so. She tried selling those again but none of them were sold. One of her friends even demotivated Nicole. She stated that it was her parents' fault that they were poor. She bragged about her family for being rich. She was almost about to give up, but suddenly one woman came towards her and bought some jewellery. Soon more and more customers came by and all of her jwelleries was sold after about 10 days. She made some money out of it and bought some more supplies. She continued selling those jewelleries and made some money. After about 9 months she was able to buy a store and start up her small business a bit more professionally. After this her family never struggled to fulfill their needs. Eventually, she began going back to school. 
 

जन्मिदा संसार अँध्यारो थियो 

अँध्यारो संसारमा उज्ज्यालो छर्दै गए।

बढ्दै अघि लड्दै गएँ

हार नमानी अघि बढ्दै गएँ।

जीवन जति अघि बढ्दै गयो 

आफ्ना जति टाढिदै गए 

म जिम्मेवार बन्दै गएँ  

सक्ने जति भार थेग्दै गएँ।

स्वार्थ पूरा हुँदै गयो 

साथ सबले छोड्दै गए।

बाटो सोझो  हुँदा हुँदै 

अन्ततिर मोडिदै गए।

स्वार्थी यो संसारमा 

निःस्वार्थी को छ भनी

जताततै खोजेँ कोही पाइन

अन्त्यमा,

स्वार्थी कै हात समाएर

अगि बढे फेरि लडेँ

Once upon a time there was a man named Raj. He was very interested in science and technology. He had been interested in them since he was young. He was a student in high school. There were many groups that he could choose to go to. He took science and technology.

The next day he went to his class and saw many things that he had not seen. He learnt many things and realized that he didn't know many things about science and technology. He saw that his classmates were way ahead of him. Then they got their homework. It was an experiment where it took lots of time. There were a lot of things to research. He took a lot of time and made it but it was not complete yet. He had to wait patiently for a few days.

While he was waiting there was his coding class. He didn't know much about that. Then after his class ended he learnt some things about coding. He asked some questions and showed it to his teacher the next day. He questioned the old method. And all his classmates did it from the new method. All his classmates were updated about new things but raj was not. So, he asked his classmates about how to do it and got some answers and tried the new method. Then he remembered about his experiment. He went to see it and saw that it was not perfect because it was his first time and he used the old method.

Then he did his experiment using the new method. It was easier than before. Then a few days later he checked his experiment and it had worked perfectly. That day he knew that time changes everyday and you should change with it.
 

सबै मानिसहरू ले जीवनको खुड्किला पार गर्दै गर्दा विद्यार्थी जीवनको अनुभव गर्नुपर्छ । हरेक मानिसका विद्यार्थीकालमा भिन्नाभिन्नै कथा र अनुभव  रहेका हुन्छन् । म निहारीका चापागाईं सानागाउँ ललितपुरमा बसोबास  ।  मेरो विद्यालय  सिफल, काठमाडौँमा रहेको छ। हुन त मेरो पुर्ख्यौली थलो झापा हो । म झापाली हुँ तर मेरा पढाइका निम्ति मेरा आमाबुबाले काठमाडौँ बस्ने निर्णय लिनुभएको थियो । त्यहाँदेखि सुरु भयो; मेरो सिफल सेकेन्डरी स्कुलको यात्रा । म सिफल सेकेन्डरी स्कुलमा पढ्न आउँदा, म विद्यालय नजिकै ‘मित्रपार्क’  बस्ने बस्थेँ । मित्रपार्क केही समय बसेपछि हामी सानागाउँ ललितपुरमा सर्यौं । हामी सानागाउँ सरेदेखि मेरो दैनिकीमा धेरै असर देखिन थाल्यो । विद्यालय र घरबिचको लामो दुरीले मेरो हाल  मलाई धेरै अफ्ठ्यारा परिस्थितिसँग लड्न बाध्य बनायो।  

म कक्षा ७ मा थिएँ; जब मैले विद्यालयको यातायात प्रयोग गर्न थालेँ तब म अहिलेसम्म पनि दिनहुँ  ३/४ घन्टा बसमा यात्रा गरिरहेकी हुन्छु । बिहान ७:१५ मा विद्यालयको बस मलाई लिन ‘बुद्धचोक’ मा (मेरो घर नजिकको चोक) आउँछ र घर पुग्दा पनि बेलुकाको ७ बज्छ । यो सुन्दा कसैले सोच्नुहोला, यति धौधौ गरेर त विद्यालय के जानु ? विद्यालय भनेको त आफूलाई सजिलो हुने र राम्रो पढाउने ठाउँमा जानुपर्छ। जस्तो दुख भए पनि यही विद्यालय पढ्ने मेरो आफ्नै निर्णय रहेको थियो । झापामा बसोबास गर्दा, म त्यहाँको विद्यालय त जान्थेँ तर मैले त्यहाँ कहिले पनि वास्तविक रूपमा मैले मेरा विचारहरू  खुलेर देखाउने मौका पाएकी थिइनँ । सिफल स्कुल आएपछि मैले आफूमा विश्वास राख्न सकेँ र आफ्नो प्रतिभालाई चिन्न सकेँ। यस विद्यालयले मलाई धेरै कुरा सिकाएको छ । सिफल विद्यालय र त्यहाँका मेरा साथीहरू प्रतिको लगावले म विद्यालय छोड्न चाहन्नथेँ।

दिनहुँ म घरबाट ७ बजे निस्कन्छु र बुद्धचोकमा ७:१५ मा पुग्छु । बिहान १ घन्टा ४५ मिनटको यात्रा गरेपछि ९ बजे म जहिले विद्यालय आइपुग्छु । विद्यालयमा साधारणतय पढाइपछि खाजा खाने समय ११: ३५ मा हुन्छ । बिहान ७ बजे घरबाट सानोतिनो खानेकुरा खाएर हिँडेको मान्छे विद्यालय आइपुग्दा भोक लाग्ला कि भनेर घरमा आमाबुबालाई पनि पीर हुने र आँफूलाई पनि घरमा बिहान बिहान उठेर केही खान मन नलाग्ने । यस्ता कुराले मेरो स्वास्थ्यमा धेरै असर गरेकाे छ । टाउको असाध्य दुख्ने, चिसोले शरीर दुख्ने, पेट दुख्ने जस्ता सानातिना कुराहरूले जहिले सताइरहेको हुनाले विद्यालयमा मैले कक्षा ९ मा पनि धेरै अनुपस्थित भइसकेकी छु । घर ढिलो पुग्नाको कारण रातीसम्म  गृहकार्य गर्नुपर्ने पढ्नुपर्ने समस्या मेरा लागि सामान्य बन्दै गएका छन् । यस्ता कुरा मलाई मात्र नभएर मसँगै बसमा यात्रा गर्ने कक्षा १ मा पढ्ने साना भाइबहिनीहरूले पनि अनुभव गरेकै होलान् । एक दिन त मेरै बसमा भएको एक जना भाइले गाडीमै वान्ता गरेछ । यस्ता कुराहरू  देख्दा र आफूले नै भोग्दा मलाई विरक्त महसुस हुन्छ । हुन त सिफल स्कुलमा पढेर यो अनुभव लिने निर्णय मेरै  थियो ।  कहिलेकाँही यस निर्णयले मलाई धेरै पिडा दियो होला तर यो निर्णय लिएकोमा मलाई पछुताे छैन । किनभने गाडीमा यात्रा गरेर मैले धेरै साथीहरू  बनाएँ । धेरै नयाँ कुरा सिकेँ । अन्तिममा त मैले जीवनमा एक अनुभव लिन सिकेँ जसको बारेमा मैले भविष्यमा अरूलाई सुनाउन सक्ने छु।       
 

In the city of Alabasta a long time ago, Grey used to live with his family; Dad, Mom and his big brother Adi. They were a happy family with enough income and services to maintain their daily life easily. Adi was good at studies and was smart for his age. Adi was basically jack of all trades however Grey on the other hand had to work harder to even receive an average grade. As time passed by Grey’s brother Adi moved foreign for business studies leaving Grey and the family behind. During their childhood, the brothers both had a dream of opening a big company together and making their successful living as businessmen and a happy family. After seeing Adi getting closer towards success in life, Grey dedicated to work even harder as he felt as though he was dragging the name of his family and that his brother might reach success they dreamt of easily but Grey  might not make it.
As Adi was smart enough with self-management, it was easier for him to start a small business and grow it over the years and take care of his studies at the same time. He managed his foreign life easily but that kinda developed his pride and made him over confident. But having a feeling of superiority over his brother, Adi started growing more arrogant and looked down upon those who were comparatively less smart or sympathetic to weaks. Deciding to achieve his goal alongside his brother after a course of 5 years, Grey also with hardwork and dedication made it to the same country Adi was and had started a small business there. In the three years of course both the brothers were out of contact  and completely clueless about the other’s situation when they stumbled upon each other. Even after meeting with his brother instead of motivating him to work harder, Adi makes fun of Grey by saying how Adi will always remain superior to him and that he has no potential to be on the same level of Adi no matter how much hard work he does. After seeing how much his brother has changed to even humiliate his own brother was unbelievable to Grey. Grey then made a vow to defeat his brother and bring him back to his senses as being a bit rich and smart has spoiled his brain and made him cocky. Then Grey grew his business at large with patience, discipline and hard work; however he made sure he didn’t turn out arrogant like his brother and had respect for all. He then eventually became a rich CEO of one of the biggest companies in Alabasta. Whereas Adi on the other hand lost the business he had and was eventually on the brink of bankruptcy. 
Seeing his younger brother who was always below him at all the things he ever did reach the top while he hit the rock bottom made Adi actually realize how we can learn things from everyone, how hard work and patience leads to success and how we must not make fun of someone as everyone has potential to reach their dream. After that Adi started working in Grey’s company. 
 

Once upon a time there was a couple who lived at a farm house. They had animals there. A mouse who was the oldest, a big cat who was the smallest, a horse and two dogs with other animals too. The couple had a daughter and a son. The couple loved gathering people and celebrating holidays at their farm. The couple’s children used to live in  different countries for better jobs and better studies. One day the children decided to call their parents to live with them and the couple decided to go and live with their children.

The animals were really sad to hear that the couple were going away. The animals hated when other caretakers would come to look after them and the couples knew that but they didn't have anyone who was there to help them so the only option for them was to call for a caretaker. All of them were really sad because the past caretakers have abused them. The animals were so scared of the caretaker because they felt the caretaker would do the same. So they stopped eating, they didn't go grazing on land. Seeing this the caretaker started getting afraid that the animals would get sick and she would get fired so, she started to hit the animals in order to feed them. All the animals from the farm had scars on their bodies, all the animals started to hide from her but she would find them anyways and beat them because they were hiding from her. The animals got fed up with her and called for a meeting among themselves. Everyone started to complain to the mouse and asked the mouse to come up with her conclusion that would do justice for all the animals. The mouse came up with the idea to film the caretaker without her knowing so show the couples what they were going through. The only problem for them was that they didn't have any devices to record her with. The horse came up with the idea and said “The mouse, cat and one of the dogs should go inside and me, the dog and other animals would distract the caretaker and mouse ,cat and dog would go inside the house to grab a camera.” The horse and other animals started making a mess in the farm so that the caretaker would come outside and scold or beat the animals. They did everything as per the plan and successfully brought the camera outside to the farm and kept it in a hidden place and started recording it. The mouse knew how to operate the camera because she had seen the couple operate the camera. The mouse recorded all the incidents for a couple of days. Then all they had to do was patiently wait for the owners to return back home.  Before leaving the farm the owners promised to return back to the farm a while later. So they waited for owners to come and they did everything that could piss off the caretaker so she would hit them and they would mark all over them and the owner could see it clearly. Days turned into months and summer turned into winter. Snowfall started, festivals started but the owners  have not returned yet. A week before Christmas the owners finally came as a surprise. The house was messy and unmanaged, the animals were dirty, everything was messed up. The owners were really confused and mad, at first the owners thought that the animals were the ones who came inside the house and made the mess so they went to check on the animals and saw bruises all over their body, they were so confused and shocked at the same time. The animals showed them the clips of the footage they clicked of the caretaker. The caretaker was later punished and they lived happily ever after.
 

नेपालको पूर्वी पहाडी गाउँमा एउटा सानो परिवार थियो । आमा, बुबा र दुई छोरा गरी परिवारमा चार जना थिए । आमा, बुबा र दुई छोरा भएको त्यस परिवार बाहिरबाट  हेर्दा त निकै सुखी र खुसी देखिन्थे तर परिवारभित्र भने सबैजनाबिच दिनहुँ झैझगडा भैरहन्थ्यो । बुबा दिनहुँ रक्सी खाएर घर आउँथे र आमालाई हकार्थे र कुट्थे । आमा पनि सधैँ बुबालाई गाली गर्थिन् र आफ्नो श्रीमान्को रिस जेठो छोरो माथि पोख्थिन् । यसरी सधैँभरि घरमा बाझ्ने  र कराउने भएको देखेर जेठो छोरो कमलको मानसिक अवस्था बिग्रिसकेको सकेको थियो ।

दस वर्षको कलिलो उमेरमा नै यस्तो भोग्नु परेपछि उसको पढाइमा पनि निकै नकारात्मक असर पर्यो । सानो भाइ कार्तिकले आफूले भोगेजस्तो समस्या भोग्नु नपरोस् भनेर घरमा झगडा भएर कराउने बेला भाइले नसुनोस् र थाहा नपाओस् भनेर भाइलाई अरू कामहरूमा व्यस्त गराउँथ्यो । पढाइ, लेखाइ र सिर्जनात्मक काममा भाइलाई एकदम राम्रो बनाउने उसको ठुलो सपना थियो । कार्तिक पनि निकै ज्ञानी र पढाइमा अब्बल थियो  । कक्षामा सधैँ ऊ प्रथम हुन्थ्यो । वक्तृत्वकला प्रतियोगीता र निबन्ध लेख्ने प्रतियोगीता केहीमा पनि ऊ पछाडि हट्दैनथ्यो । कमलको आफ्नो पढाइका साथसाथै मानसिक अवस्था पनि धेरै नै बिग्रीसकेको थियो । उसलाई केवल फुटबलमा रूचि थियो । उसको दिमागमा भने सधैँ फुटबल खेलाडी बन्ने सपना मात्र घुमिरहन्थ्यो । कार्तिकको पढाइमा उन्नति भएको देखेर उसले धेरै स्याबासी पाउँथ्यो । तर कमललाई भने सधैँ हेला गरेर आफ्नो छोरासरह ठान्दैनथे । यस्तो व्यवहार देखेर उसलाई निकै पीडा हुन्थ्यो । घर छाडेर कतै अरू ठाउँ गएर नयाँ जीवनको सुरुवात गरौँ कि भन्ने पनि उसको मनमा सोच आउँथ्यो । एकदिन चाहिँ अत्याचारै भएका कारण उसले घर छाडेर जाने निधो गर्यो । आमाबुबा कसैले पनि उसलाई रोक्न कोसिस गरेनन् । भाइले भने दाजु नजानु न भनेर निकै बिन्ती गर्यो तर कमल आफ्नो सोचमा अडिग रह्यो । 
केही वर्षपछिको कुरा हो । कार्तिक आफ्नो बुबासँग नेपाल र बङ्गलादेशबिचको फुटबलको खेल हेरिरहेको थियो । खेलाडीहरूको नाम भनिरहेको बेला एउटा नयाँ खेलाडीको परिचय गराइयो । सोही खेलाडीको नाम थियो - कमल थापा । टेलिभिजनमा आफ्नै छोरालाई देखेपछि बुबा निकै नै छक्क परे । आमालाई पनि बोलाउनुभयो । भाइ भने निकै खुसी भएको थियो । दाजुले घर छोड्नु अगाडि तिमीले एकदिन मलाई टेलिभिजनमा देख्नेछौ भनेको कुरा उसको दिमागमा आयो । फुटबलको त्यस खेलमा कमलले दुई गोल हानेर नेपाललाई विजयी गरायो । आफूहरूकै कारण कमलको मानसिक अवस्था बिग्रिएको र उसले घर छोड्नु परेको महसुस गरे । उनीहरू आफ्नो गल्तीप्रति सचेत भए । सबै बालकको एउटै रूचि हुँदैन । हरेक बालक अरूभन्दा भिन्न हुन्छ । उसको रूचि र सपनालाई प्रोत्साहन गर्नु  हरेक अभिभावकको कर्तव्य हो ।
