Why Do Nepalese Youths Want to Join the British Army?
- Bipan Sajwal - 24017, Grade X ... 30 March, 2023

A lot of Nepali soldiers are presently serving for the British Army's Gurkha Brigade, which is a continuation of a long-standing tradition of Nepalese people serving in the military. While the reasons for Nepalese individuals joining the British Army are numerous and complicated, they can all be connected to social, economic, and cultural factors.
One of the main reasons Nepalese people choose to join the British Army is to improve their financial situation. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world, and many people struggle with unemployment and lack of opportunity. Joining the British Army provides a way out of poverty and a chance to support their families. The British Army offers benefits such as free healthcare and education for troops' children, which is a big draw for Nepalese people. Additionally, there is a strong cultural connection between Nepal and the British Army, which also influences people's decision to join.
The Gurkha soldiers have been serving in the British Army for a very long time, and Nepal has a history of military service. Gurkhas are famous for being brave, loyal, and disciplined in both Nepal and the UK. Many Nepalese people see joining the British Army as a way to honor their country's military legacy and contribute to the world. Nepalese people also enlist in the British Army for social reasons, not just for money and culture. In Nepal, the caste system is very strict, which makes it hard for people to move up in society. By joining the British Army, Nepalese soldiers can break free from the caste system and achieve a higher social status. Being in the British Army can also make Nepalese soldiers proud and bring honor to their families and communities.
The location of Nepal is very important because it is at the crossroads of many important trade routes and is between India and China. This has made Nepal a place of conflict and political unrest due to competition between neighboring countries. Nepalese people may see joining the British Army as a way to help make the region more stable and contribute to keeping the world safe.
In conclusion, there are many reasons why Nepalese people decide to join the British Army. These include economic, cultural, social, and geopolitical factors. However, what connects them all is the desire to improve their lives and contribute to society. The Gurkha regiment is something that both the UK and Nepal are proud of, and it represents the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of Nepalese soldiers.

Differences in Perspectives
- Aditya Uprety - 24008, Grade ... 24 March, 2023

“Where words are restrained, the eyes often talk a great deal.” – Samuel Richardson.

This quote explains that words are not what’s important; instead, they are the perspectives through which we view our society, ultimately bringing various thoughts and are later transcribed to words.

As human beings, we all have different experiences and backgrounds that shape our perspectives on the world. These differences in our perspectives can have a significant impact on how we interpret and understand the world around us. In this article, we will explore the concept of perspectives and the ways in which it influences our lives.

At its core, perspective refers to a person's unique point of view. This perspective can be shaped by a wide range of factors, including cultural background, upbringing, education, personal experiences, and beliefs. These factors can influence how we view everything from politics and social issues to art and entertainment.

One of the most significant ways in which differences in our perspectives can be manifested is through communication. People with different perspectives may interpret the same message in different ways, leading to misunderstandings and miscommunications.

Another way in which perspectives influence our lives is through our decision-making processes. Our unique perspectives can influence the choices we make and the paths we take in life. For example, a person who grew up in poverty may be more focused on financial stability and security, while a person from a wealthy background may be more interested in pursuing personal fulfillment and creative endeavors.

Differences in our perspectives can also impact how we view and respond to challenges and adversities. A person who has experienced significant trauma may have a more negative outlook on life, while a person who has never faced significant challenges may be more optimistic. These differences can impact our ability to cope up with stresses and overcome obstacles. Despite the challenges that can arise from differences in perspectives, there are also many benefits to embrace diverse viewpoints. By learning from and engaging with people who have different perspectives, we can expand our understanding of the world and develop greater empathy and compassion for others. Exposure to different perspectives can also spark creativity and innovation, as we are exposed to new ideas and ways of thinking.

In today's interconnected world, differences in perspectives are more important than ever. As we navigate complex issues such as climate change, social justice, and economic inequality, it is essential that we come together to learn from one another and work towards common goals. By embracing diversity and recognizing the value of different perspectives, we can build a stronger, more equitable, and more just society.

In conclusion, differences in perspectives are an integral part of the human experience. While they can create challenges and tensions, they also provide us with unique opportunities for learning, growing, and connecting. By recognizing and valuing these differences, we can work towards a more harmonious and inclusive world.

- Swodhin Bhandari - 24048, Gra ... 23 March, 2023

Are We Living in a Fantasized World?
- Samriddha Raj Satyal - 24063, ... 22 March, 2023

The fantasy world of social media, celebrity culture, and reality TV is all too accessible in today's globe. It is simple to lose touch with reality and think we are living in a fantasy world due to the continual barrage of glorified pictures and lifestyles. I'll make a case for the motion in this write-up.

We live in a human-made fantasized world. All of us can only achieve realism when we actually understand that we are living in this fantasy. I believe that Lord Buddha was not enlightened because he was god gifted, instead the reason is because he understood realism which means that he got out from the human-made fantasized world. One example that proves the fantasy of this world is money. We all know, money is nothing more than just a piece of paper, but we, the human beings, have created a fantasy inside our consciousness that makes money the most powerful thing in this world. We're living inside of a matrix, we just get up, study, work, eat, sleep; and repeat. There is a lot more in this world to do which makes us closer to realism. Another fantasy we live inside is social media. First off, social media has twisted people's perceptions of reality by encouraging them to only share the best moments of their lives, giving the impression that everything is fine. As a result, there is now a culture of comparison and competitiveness, where individuals feel under pressure to project a flawless self-image rather than being authentic. Instead of focusing on their genuine beliefs and objectives, this has produced a generation of individuals who are consumed with their looks, way of life, and social standings. Likewise, the entertainment industry is also some kind of fantasy. Many of us want to become like someone else which makes us lose our own identity that takes us far away from realism.

So in conclusion, we can say that we are living inside a fantasized world that makes humans the most powerful living organism in this world. Animals see the world just the way it is, which is why their coordination is weaker, but it is the opposite in the case of humans. But again, that may be a good point but if we see this from a different point, humans don't know what realism looks like, or what the real world looks like that makes humans weaker from the sedimental point of view.

- Meemansha Acharya - 23027, Gr ... 22 March, 2023

- Suyog Karki - 24073, Grade XI ... 21 March, 2023

The Radioactive Man
- Sushant Nepal - 23044, Grade ... 21 March, 2023

At the time, when Hisashi Ouchi had arrived at the University of Tokyo Hospital after being exposed to the highest level of radiation of any human in history, doctors were astonished and stunned looking at him. The 35-year-old nuclear power plant technician had no white blood cells in him and thus, no immune system.

The nuclear accident happened before noon on Sept. 30, 1999, at the nuclear power plant in Tokaimura, Japan. With an explicit lack of safety measures and an abundance of fatal shortcuts, the Japan Nuclear Fuel Conversion Co. (JCO) told Ouchi and two other workers to mix a new batch of fuel. But the three men were untrained in the process and mixed their materials by hand. Then, they accidentally poured seven times the amount of uranium into an improper tank. Ouchi was standing directly over the vessel as Gamma rays flooded the room. While the plant and local villages were evacuated, Ouchi’s extraordinary suffering had just begun.

He was then kept in a special radiation ward to safeguard him from medical clinic borne microbes. Hisashi Ouchi leaked strange liquids from his body and sobbed for his mom. His only escape from the unbearable pain would be a last heart failure 83 long days after the incident. Ouchi's exposure was the most radiation that any person had at any point endured. He had been in immediate pain and could barely breathe. When he showed up at the clinic, he had as of now thrown up savagely and fallen oblivious. Hisashi Ouchi's radiation consumed his whole body, and his eyes were spilling blood. Most desperate was his absence of white platelets and the shortfall of a resistant reaction. Specialists put him in a unique ward to forestall contamination and surveyed the harm to his interior organs. After three days, he was moved to the University of Tokyo Hospital where progressive immature microorganism techniques were applied.
