My journey halts, as tingling displays ignite the mind,
Monkeys of unimaginable scale, in an inhumane spectrum confined.
From structures they emerge, only within shadows can they dwell,
Invisible constraints, shackles of nurture, society's complex spell.
Evolving from rational to emotional they hide, true selves unseen,
Playing roles assigned, in a reality fabricated, isn’t that evergreen?
Dissolving in a bowel with billions, each contesting for a different name,
In this vast unending grand masquerade, seeking fortune and fame.
Carving themselves or creatures inferior, worship to beings superior,
With dreams leashed onto devotion, currency of hope they beg for
Establishing laws of ethics and morale, brains of diversity served to you
How so, surviving on the same plane of imagination, who are you?
One begs with limbs a few, one with desires from yesterday’s new
Familiar cries and pleads, torn hands through which shame bleeds

Though I critique these monkeys, their mimicry so clear,

Our SEE exam was over in Chaitra and we had around four months of holidays. Those were the days that I enjoyed a lot. During lockdown as well we stayed at home but that holiday and this 3 months of holiday were very different. Many of my friends had joined the bridge course but I decided not go for the bridge course because I thought that I had finally been unbounded from the studies. So, I decided to enjoy each and every moment with the family and do the things I like. Also my parents didn't put pressure on me to join the bridge course.
I was free from all the academic pressure away from studies and enjoying my days. I really felt like a free bird. During the first week of holiday I felt like how am I going to spend three months but time passes really fast. I had a lot of plans to do during the holiday. I had planned to learn something new during those days but that never happened. I had a lot of time during the holiday and I thought I would be doing it tomorrow. When it was tomorrow, I found that I still didn't learn anything new.
But if you ask me how you spent three months of your holiday, my answer will be just the outing. I used to be out of my home for hours and hours and that too freely without any stress thinking that I need to go back home do my homeworks or to study, engaging in myself exploring places. I like exploring new places. So I used to be out of the house everyday with friends or my brothers exploring new places and finding new and good places to eat food and enjoy with. I also went rock climbing as well, which I liked a lot. Rock climbing was very adventurous and fun at the same time.
I mainly spent my time cycling everyday. I used to go cycling with my brother and friends. Once me and a brother, who lives near my house, planned to go to Sundarijal. We went to Sundarijal and even to Tarebhir which was a short distance. The locals they said its very near. We also thought so and made a plan to go to Tarebhir, but that decision made me regret later. We walked for four hours and still there was no approaching Tarebhir. At times I got scared, but we still moved and moved on. Only two of us in a silent jungle inside the national park. Finally, after seven hours, we reached Tarebhir around 2:30 pm. That uphill climb was one of the longest climbs I had experienced in my life. It was a very horrible experience but I got fun in adventure.
I had gone on a hike to Phulchowki which is more than 25 kms from Kathmandu and is one of the tallest hills in Kathmandu. During the hike the rain disturbed us a lot because it rained heavily and I had a lot of leeches sucking my blood. Tarebhir was none less than that one.
In fact, I am naturally adventurous. I mainly spent my holiday by going out and exploring. During the first week I felt like how I was going to spend three months, but when the holiday was near to the end, I felt like the three months of holiday was very less. There's a saying that humans are never satisfied. It was the same for me. While there was a long holiday there was stress of how I will spend that holiday, but when the holiday came to end, I wanted more.

The environment and the surroundings are also really clean and beautiful. Another best thing you can do there is walk on the street at night. The city will be full of light and you can also see people performing on the street which I think was really beautiful. Pokhara is also popular for World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa located on a hill across the lake. The hike to the pagoda offers not only a sense of spiritual serenity but also a chance to witness stunning vistas of Pokhara and the surrounding mountains. In my point of view Pokhara is a perfect balance of natural beauty, adventure, and thrilling environment. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast looking for thrilling experiences, a seeker of inner peace, or simply a traveler in search of breathtaking landscapes, Pokhara has a lot to offer everyone.
After spending a day or two we set off on an exciting adventure to the mysterious region of Mustang from Pokhara. Before reaching Mustang, we stayed one night at a place called ‘Tato Pani’ and there was a spot where we could take a hot bath as well, and it was quite good and relaxing. Then on the other day, we reached Mustang. The roads were quite dangerous but after reaching Mustang and enjoying the environment and peaceful surroundings, I felt it was worth it. The journey from Pokhara to Mustang was an adventure in itself. The 108 Taps Temple, Muktinath, is situated in the heart of Mustang, near the ancient walled city of Lo-Manthang. It is an integral part of the religious and cultural landscape of this remote Himalayan region, which is predominantly Tibetan-Buddhist. The temple is surrounded by arid desert terrain, dramatic cliffs, and the striking backdrop of the Nilgiri and Annapurna mountain ranges, creating a surreal and captivating setting.
Muktinath, the remarkable temple is famous for its 108 continuously flowing water spouts, each representing a different deity and serving as a place of spiritual and cultural significance. The best thing about Mustang was the environment, peaceful surroundings, and the locals. The residents of Mustang are renowned for their friendly hospitality and commitment to upholding their cultural traditions. Majority of the population of Mustang were Tibetan. Although the cultural riches of Mustang are its main catalyst to draw, its natural beauty is equally captivating. Everything was quite wonderful, including the landscape, the mountain view, and the nighttime stargazing.
For me Mustang is a place that continues to capture the imagination of all who venture here. It is a place where the past and present coexist, offering a glimpse into a world that remains as mysterious as it is beautiful.
The journey from Kathmandu to Mustang through Pokhara is a perfect blend of cultural exploration, natural beauty, and spiritual enlightenment. From the tranquil shores of Phewa Lake in Pokhara to the mystical kingdom of Mustang, everything was really touching and memorable.
