It was the 1st of Baisakh and it was just a normal day for me and my family until evening. My father suddenly came up to my room and announced that we were going to Bhaktapur. Me, along with my mother and grandmother got ready in a flash and got into the car.
The drive to Lubhu was pretty enjoyable. I didn’t see many people on the road that day. The road felt wide due to less traffic. I could see houses getting constructed, some new ones and some old traditional ones too. 
A twenty five minute drive took us to Bhaktapur. It was nearly 7 pm when we reached Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Though it was that time of the day, I could see a big crowd of people around that place. 
People were busy clicking pictures of the place, enjoying Juju Dhau, the king of curds, taking selfies, some of them strolling, and many of them sitting on the stairs of the temple and chit chatting. It was also fun watching people making reels for TikTok. 
We strolled for about half an hour during which my father introduced me to a few historical monuments.I really liked the Nyatapola temple and the 55 windows palace.
Hungry and thirsty by then, we went to a nearby outlet and had some drinks and food. We then decided to get back home as it was getting darker. By the time we reached home, it was already 9 pm. 
Though it wasn’t my first visit to Bhaktapur, I enjoyed the evening and explored some new places too. 

I have a best friend,
I know he will be with me till the end.
Day or night,
He is never out of my sight

Never sad or mad,
He is the best thing I’ve ever had.
Whenever I’m cranky,
He is able to make me happy

Always teaching me new things,
I can’t wait to see the knowledge he brings,
Sometimes when I sleep I wonder,

No, my friend, it’s not my toy,
It is my book that brings me so much joy.

याे कथाकाे पहिलाे पानामा ठाउँकाे चित्रण गरिएकाे छ । एउटा सानाे बालकले नागपाेखरीकाे पार्कमा बसेकाे सबै मानिससँग पैसा भिख मागिरहेकाे हुन्छ । त्यसै क्रममा मपात्रले त्याे बालकलाई सय रुपैयाँ दिन्छन् र त्याे बालककाे क्रियाकलाप हेर्छन् । त्याे केटाेले पैसा आफ्नी आमाकाे औषधी किन्‍नकाे लागि मागेकाे हुन्छ । कथाकाे म पात्रले त्यस केटाेकाे सबै कुरा नियालेर हेरिरहेका हुन्छन् । त्याे काेठाकाे धेरै जसाे कुराहरू पुराना र बिग्रीएका थिए । केही क्षणपछि त्याे केटाे आमाले मकै खान नसक्ने हुनु भएकाले पाउराेटी लिनका लागि भनेर जान्छ । फर्केर आएपछि आमालाई दवाइ खुवाउँछ । यसरी एउटा बालककाे बिरामी आमा र आमाप्रतिकाे माया देखेर मपात्रकाे आँखा आँसुले भरिन्छ । केही छिनपछि मपात्र “ओहाे ! बाबु म त तिम्राेमा आएँ नि है ?” भन्दै निस्किन्छन् । केटाेले पनि आमालाई घचघच्याउँदै पैसा दिने अङ्‍कल भन्दै मपात्रतर्फ देखाउँछ । केही समयपछि कृष्णबहादुर पत्रिका बेच्ने काम गर्न थाल्छ । कृष्णबहादुर दिनकाे डेढ सय कमाउँछ । ऊ  बेलुका बेलुका पढ्न जान थालेकाे छ । अहिले उनकी आमाकाे राेग पनि निकाे भइसकेकाे छ । अहिले उनीहरूकाे जीवन शैली परिवर्तन भइसकेकाे छ । कथाका मपात्रले आफ्नाे सन्तानलाई कृष्णबहादुर साँच्चैकाे हिराे हुन् भनी बताउँदा रहेछन् ।

‘राजु र म’ नामक चलचित्र बालबालिका र उनीहरूका अधिकारक बारेमा आधारित रहेको छ । यसको लेखन तथा निर्देशन गायत्री रावलले गर्नुभएको हो । यस चलचित्र धेरै अवार्डबाट सम्मानित भएको छ । याे चलचित्र राजु र म नामक कथामा आधारित छ । याे सानो बाल चलचित्र हेरेपछि मैले बालबालिकाको अवस्था र बाल अधिकार बारेमा जान्ने मौका पाएँ । चलचित्रले आर्थिक अवस्था कमजोर भएका चरम गरिबीमा हुर्किएका आमा र बुबाको माया नपाएका धेरै बालबालिकाहरूको प्रतिनिधि पात्र राजुको अवस्थाबारे बताएको छ । यो साँच्चै दुःख लाग्दो छ । यस चलचित्रले हामीजस्ता राम्रो शिक्षा पाउन सफल बालबालिकाहरू र राजु जस्ता आधारभूत शिक्षाबाट बञ्चित बालबालिकाहरू रहेको कुरा थाहा पाउँदा साँच्चै मन दुःखी हुन्छ । चलचित्र हेरेपछि राजुहरूजस्ता बालबालिकालाई अशिक्षा गरिबी र भोकमरीबाट कसरी बाहिर ल्याउन सकिन्छ भनेर म सोच्न बाध्य भएँ । चलचित्रमा देखाइएका जोखिमपूर्ण काम गर्दै गरेका, सडकको किनारमा सुतिरहेका, भोका नाङ्गा खानाका लागि तड्पिरहेका, घरबारविहीन बालबालिकाहरूको अवस्था सुधार्न आवश्यक रहेको अनुभव मैले गरेँ । राजुजस्ता बालबालिकाहरू बाल्यकालमा गरिने खेलकुद, परिवारको माया र राम्रो सङ्गतबाट टाढा हुन्छन् । यस्ता बालबालिकाहरू सरसफाइ र सामान्य स्वास्थ्यबाट समेत टाढा हुन्छन् । यस्ता बालबच्चाहरूले आफ्नाे परिचय पनि प्राप्त गर्न सकेका हुँदैनन् । यो अवस्था साँच्चै दुःखदायी अवस्था हो । यो चलचित्रले हामीलाई बालअधिकारबारे पनि बताएको छ । बालअधिकारले बालबालिकालाई बाँच्न पाउने अधिकार, बासको अधिकार, परिवारसँग बस्न पाउने अधिकार, स्वास्थ्यको अधिकार, खेल खेल्न पाउने अधिकार, सुरक्षाको अधिकार, परिचयकाे अधिकार र शिक्षाको अधिकार सुनिश्चित गर्दछ भन्ने कुराको शिक्षा पाइयो । यी बालअधिकारलाई संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघले समेत प्रत्याभूति गरेको छ ।

Recently, I went to a beautiful place named Dhap Dam. I got to know through the local people that Dam is a barrier that stops surface water and underground water inorder to generate electricity. 
I went there with my mother, her friends and her kids. It took us about three hours by bus to reach that place. As we were already hungry by the time we reached, we first looked for a place to have lunch. While the food was getting ready in one of the restaurants we had found, we played some fun games to pass the time. 
The place was peaceful and I could feel the fresh cool air passing through. I even touched the water. It was really cold.
I got bruised while playing with my friends. But it was really fun visiting the place. I would suggest everyone to visit Dhap Dam once to enjoy nature.

मेरो जाडोको बिदा पुस नाै गतेदेखि सुरु भएको थियो तर म चित्रकलामा छनोट भएको हुनाले म विद्यालय जानु पर्थ्यो । म विद्यालय नाै बजे गएर चार बजे घर फर्किन्थेँ तर सोमबारको दिन तेक्वान्दोको जाँच भएको हुनाले हाम्रा कक्षाका सबै विद्यार्थीहरू विद्यालय आएका थिए । मैले चित्रकला चार दिनमा बनाउन सकेको थिएँ  र म बिहीवारदेखि विद्यालय जान परेन । बिदाको बेलामा मैले आफ्ना सबै गृहकार्यहरू गरेँ । त्यसपछि म मामाघर गएँ । मेरा बाबा र मामुको बिदामा मलाई रमाइला ठाउँहरूमा घुमाउन लैजानुभयो । फुर्सदकाे समयमा घरमै बसेर मैले स्केटिङ खेल्न पनि सिकेँ । मेरो जाडो बिदा मलाई एकदम रमाइलो लाग्यो ।

I visited Chandragiri Hill for the first time in November with my family. We all gathered early in the morning, excited for the trip ahead. A small car picked us up from home, and we travelled by bus from Maitidevi to Dillibazar, Putlisadak, Sahidgate, Kalki, and Thankot before arriving at the cable car station.

Since it was a Saturday, we paid 799 rupees per person for a cable car ticket. The cable car route is 2.5 km, and it took us only 9 minutes to reach the hilltop from the bottom. There were 41 cable cars: 38 for people and three for goods. We marvelled at the beautiful view of the Himalaya ranges from Everest to Annapurna. We even caught sight of the Kathmandu Valley from the top of Baleswar.

At the hilltop, we visited the Mahadev Temple and the statue of Shri 5th Maharaj Prithvi Narayan Shah. We took many photos, including one where I snapped my fingers like the king. My brother and sister played many games, and we all enjoyed some free games and ziplining. There was also face painting, and I had a picture of Luffy drawn on my face. We had momos, juice, french fries, and cheese popcorn while enjoying the pleasant weather.

We took the cable car back down since it was time for us to leave.  The cable car is open from 8am to 9pm, with a break from noon to 1 p.m. and from 5:30 to 6:15.

Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I would love to go back again, especially during the snow season.  Chandragiri is known for snowfall in November and January, and many people visit there to play in the snow.  If I get a chance, I would love to experience that too.

धेरै समय अघि, जाडोको दिनमा, एमा नामकी सानी केटी आफ्नो बुबासँग विमानमा बसिन्, झ्यालबाट बाहिर हेर्दै थिइन् । बाहिर भारी पानी परिरहेको थियो। उनी करिब छ वर्षकी मात्र थिइन् र उनीहरू किन यति धेरै मानिस विदेश जानु वा चीन जानुपर्‍यो भनेर  बुझिनन्।

"दादा," उनले विमान अवतरण गर्ने क्रममा भनिन्, र उनको बुबाले जवाफ दिनुभयो, "हो, मेरो एम्जी, के भयो?" "के अब हामी अवतरण गर्दैछौँ?" उसले कानेखुसी गरी, अलिकति डर लाग्यो। विमान त्यतिबेला अवतरण भयो, र उनी र एम्माले आफूलाई चीनमा फेला पार्दै विमानबाट ओर्ले।

एम्माले आफ्नो डर लुकाउन खोजे, तर उनको बुबालाई थाहा थियो कि उनी डराएकी थिइन्। "चिन्ता नगर्नुहोस्, एम्मा, तपाईंले नयाँ साथीहरू बनाउनुहुनेछ, र तपाईंलाई भाषा थाहा छ, त्यहाँ डराउनु पर्ने के छ?" उसले एमालाई भन्यो।

"तपाईं सही हुनुहुन्छ, दादा, तर के नयाँ बच्चाहरूले मलाई मन पराउँदैनन् त ?" उनले एक सास लिएर जवाफ दिइन्।

"तिमी धेरै सोच्दै छौ, एम्मा, मूर्ख नहुनुहोस् !" उनको बुबाले जवाफ दिनुभयो।

"तपाईँले सही भन्नुभयो दादा, त्यो मूर्ख थियो। यदि केही बच्चाहरूले मलाई मन पराउँदैनन् भने, अरूले माया गर्ने छन्, र म उनीहरूसँग साथी बन्न सक्छु," उनले आफ्नो अनुहारमा मुस्कान राख्दै जवाफ दिइन्।

त्यो मुस्कान धेरै दिन टिक्दैन भनेर उनलाई थाहा थिएन। होटलमा पुगेपछि, एम्माले आफ्ना नयाँ सहपाठीहरूलाई चकलेट वितरण गर्ने निर्णय गरिन्। उनले आफ्नो बुबासँग अनुमति मागेर उनले भनिन् कि उनी जान सक्छिन्, तर होटलबाट धेरै टाढा छैन। एमा सहमत भएपछि पसलमा आफ्नो मनपर्ने चकलेट नदेखेसम्म उनी हिँडिनन् र आफ्ना सहपाठीहरूलाई दिनका लागि किन्ने निर्णय गरिन् । यद्यपि, उनी होटलबाट धेरै टाढा गइन् र फर्कने बाटो सम्झिन सकेनन्।

एम्माले आफ्ना पाइलाहरू फर्काउने प्रयास गरे, तर तिनले तिनीहरूलाई सम्झिन सकेनन्। उनी डराउन थालिन् र हराएकी थिइन्, उनी कसरी होटलमा फर्कने बाटो फेला पार्ने भनेर सोच्दै। उनले आफ्नो बुबाको सल्लाह सुने र होटल नजिकै बसेकी थिइन्। त्यसपछि उनले होटलको नाम सम्झिन् जुन यो जुइ हो डे थियो। त्यसपछि उनले सबैलाई होटल कहाँ छ भनेर सोध्न थालिन् । यसैबीच, उनका बुबा बिरामी परेका थिए। उनी होटलबाट बाहिर निस्किए र कराउन थाले "एम्मा!" सबैले उसलाई पागल जस्तो देखे । एकजनाले प्रहरीलाई पनि बोलाए । यति धेरै हल्ला गरेको भन्दै पुलिस आए र उनलाई पक्राउ गरेपछि एम्मा होटलमा फर्किन्। "दादा" उनी चिच्याइन् "के हुँदैछ!" उसले आफ्नो बुबालाई सोध्यो, उसको बुबाले भन्नुभयो "एम्मा, म धेरै खुसी छु तिमी फर्केर कहाँ थियौ?" निर्दोष व्यक्तिलाई पक्राउ गर्न प्रहरीलाई लाज लाग्यो। फेरि जारी राखौंला ।

Introduction: Sleazy, stealthy, patient, and intelligent, wild cats are natural killers. Most of them hunt on their own, using their claws and teeth to stab and cut up their prey. They have muscular bodies that are well adapted to running, leaping, etc. They live in various habitats across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the USA.
Small Wild Cats: More than three-quarters of the world’s wild cats are classified as "small." The 30 different species have adapted to their environment. Small wild cats include lynx, puma, caracal, cheetah, etc.
Big Wild Cats: Big cats include lions, tigers, jaguars, and leopards. They all live alone, except for lions, which live in a large group called a "pride." The largest known big cats are Amur and Bengal tigers, which can weigh the same as 100 domestic cats.
 

Brodie is an eight-year-old mischievous boy. He has done many mischiefs, like sneaking a cockroach inside his 6 year old brother Marccus's school bag, breaking the expensive perfume bottle of his mom, and also trying to help her by ironing clothes, but accidentally burning his dad's shirt. He is always scolded by his parents, but he doesn't seem to care. On a normal morning, Brodie and his brother Marcus were eating breakfast while birds were chirping outside the big kitchen window. Brodie asked his dad, "Dad, can you buy me a new videogame?" His dad was reading a newspaper beside him. His dad took a sip of his tea and said, "No, I don't think so. I will buy you something after you let out a mouse in the school library." "Oh, dad, it was an accident. The mouse was my pet, and I wanted him to read comics with me!" "I think your dad is right, Brodie," his mom added. Marcus was enjoying watching Brodie get scolded. " But mom, Brodie tried to explain. "No buts, Brodie," his mom interrupted in the middle. "Well, I think I will buy you a videogame," said his dad. "Yay!" Brodie celebrated. "But only if you are good for a week," his dad added. "Oh no!" screamed Brodie. "I don’t think so, but you will make it," Marcus whispered in Brodie’s ear. "Time will tell, Grumpy Marcus," Brodie said with an evil grin. At night, he set an alarm so he could wake up early. But, oh boy! He set an alarm for p.m. instead of a.m. He went to bed much earlier than usual. He threw himself on the bed and closed his eyes. But he couldn’t sleep. He tried sleeping on his stomach, on the side of the bed, and also upside down, but he still didn’t feel comfortable enough to sleep. He woke up and tried reading comics, listening to music, and even eating a few candies from the kitchen. At last, he gave up. It was 1 a.m. when he slept because of tiredness. At ten in the morning, Marcus was all tidy and ready in his school uniform. He came running to wake Brodie up. He swung the door open, and he said, "Brodie, you're late for school! It's 9 a.m. "Shut up, Grumpy Marcus!" Brodie said it with a sleepy tone and looked at the clock, and Marcus was right! He jumped out of bed, got ready, grabbed a piece of toast, and went off to the bus stop. While running, he could hear his mom saying, "Don't be late, or dad will not buy the videogame!". On the bus, he realized "Oh no, I forgot to do the homework". The first day wasn’t good. The second day, at the kitchen, everyone was eating breakfast. The door slowly opened, and outside the kitchen door was Brodie with tidy, combed oily hair. ironed, tidy uniform and a bright, good-boy smile. "Oh, stop acting, Brodie. No matter how much you try, you wouldn’t be as good as me!" Marcus, who was feeling a bit jealous, said: But this time Brodie didn’t say anything. Not even Grumpy Marcus. He just simply greeted and sat down. Marcus was still surprised, and so were his parents. After breakfast, Brodie thanked for the food and went out. "Wow! I really think he is trying to be a "good boy," Mom said. Now Marcus was planning against Brodie to make mom and dad realize he will never change. Next morning, Marcus thought to set up a trap so that Brodie would scream at him and be the old bad Brodie. Marcus also told Mom and Dad to come after 5 minutes so Mom and Dad could catch Brodie red-handed. Brodie came out of the room and tripped because of the trap. Marcus was smiling. Brodie was about to yell at Marcus, but he saw Mom and Dad coming upstairs. "Oh my gosh, Marcus, you're so evil! You made me trip so I would be late to school!" Brodie said with his puppy eyes. "Shut up, bad Brodie, you will never be good," said Marcus, but Mom and Dad were watching the whole scene from the stairs. "How could you, Marcus?" said mom. Marcus started to tear up and ran to his room. The rest of the week, Marcus always tried to set up a trap, but instead of Brodie, Marcus was the one who got into trouble. Mom and Dad were pretty impressed by Brodie, and on the last day of the week, Mom and Dad went out to get the videogame for Brodie. Marcus and Brodie were all alone at home. Brodie was inside his room reading comics while listening to pop music. Marcus was still jealous. Marcus went to Brodie’s room and turned off the music. Brodie was about to say something, but Marcus got a pillow and started a pillow fight. Brodie and Marcus were fighting until they reached downstairs. "Marcus, stop it!" Brodie said. While they were fighting, they reached the kitchen. Marcus tried to hit Brodie, but he missed and caused the eggs on the counter to crash. Now the pillow was all stained with yolk. The whole house was a mess. At that time, the parents arrived and saw the house, which was now a big mess. Now guess what? Brodie didn’t get: the video game, and Marcus was in big trouble for being the bad boy for the week!

मेरो शनिबारको घुमघाम कार्यक्रम रमाइलाे भयाे । शनिबारको बिदामा घुम्दा शारीरिक मानसिक फुर्ती आउँछ । म मेराे परिवारसँग घुम्न गएकाे थिएँ । हामी घुम्नका लागि पाटनमा गयौँ । त्यहाँ ‘द चकलेट हाउस’मा हामी पुग्यौँ । यो द चकलेट रुम भन्ने पसल २००७ सालमा अस्ट्रेलियामा बनेको थियो र  यसको शाखा नेपालमा पनि खोलेको हो । यो पसल यता मात्र नभएर अन्य एघारवटा देशमा पनि छन् । मलाई अन्य ठाउँमा भन्दा यस ठाउँको चकलेटको स्वाद एकदमै छुट्टै र मिठो लाग्यो । मैले यस ठाउँमा चकलेट बन, चकलेट प्याकेक, मिल्कसेक आदिको स्वाद लिएँ र ती सबै कुराहरू मलाई एकदमै मिठो लाग्यो । मलाई यो शनिबार एकदमै अविस्मरणीय भयो । म मेरा साथीहरूलाई पनि यस ठाउँमा घुम्न जान र चकलेटको मज्जा लिन आग्रह गर्दछु ।

रुख हाम्रो जीवनका लागि एकदमै आवश्यक छ I रुख हाम्रो असल साथी हो किनभने रुख बिना हामी बाँच्न  सक्दैनौँ I रुखले कार्बन डाइ अक्साइड लिएर हामीलाई  श्वास फेर्नलाई आवश्यक पर्ने अक्सिजन दिन्छ I रुखले वातावरण स्वच्छ र सफा बनाउँछ I रुखले हावा, पानी , ध्वनिप्रदूषण हुनबाट जोगाउँछ I रुखले माटोलाई मलिलो बनाउँछ I  रुखले चराचुरुङ्गी र जनावरहरूलाई बासस्थान र खाना दिन्छ I  रुखले वातावरणको  तापक्रम घटाउँन पनि सहयोग गर्छ I संसारमा विभिन्न प्रकारका रुखहरू पाइन्छन् I रुखबाट हामीले धेरै फाइदा लिन सक्छौँ I रुखले हामीलाई काठ,दाउरा,स्याउला ,औषधि बनाउनका लागि चाहिने जडिबुटी, कच्चा पदार्थ प्रदान गर्छ I रुखको दाउरा र स्याउला बालेर हामीले खाना बनाउँन सक्छौँ I रुखको काठबाट हामीले खाट,टेबल, कुर्सी ,दराज, सोफा, घरको झ्याल ढोका बनाउान सक्छौँ I रुखले हामीलाई घामबाट बच्नलाई शितल छहारी दिन्छ I वरिपरि रुख भएको ठाउँमा बस्ने मानिस स्वस्थ र खुसी हुन्छ I रुखको हरियालीले हाम्रो आँखालाई पनि फाइदा पुर्‍याउँछ I रुखले सूर्यको हानिकारक किरणलाई पृथ्वीसम्म आउँन दिँदैन I त्यस्तै पानी पार्नका लागि पनि रुखले सहयोग गर्छ I 
हामी सबै मिलेर रुखको संरक्षण गर्नुपर्छ I जथाभाबी रुख काट्नुहुँदैन I हामीले रुख काटेपछि अर्को रुख रोप्नुपर्छ I वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम गरेर रुखबिरुवालाई बचाउँन सकिन्छ I सामुदायिक बनको विकास गरेर पनि रुखलाई बचाउँन सकिन्छ I रुखको जराले माटोलाई बलियो गरी समातेर राखेको हुन्छ I जथाभाबी रुख काट्नाले बाढी पहिरो गएर ठुलो धनजनको क्षति हुन सक्छ र पृथ्वीको तापक्रम पनि बढ्दै जान्छ I त्यस्तै विभिन्न पशुपङ्क्षीहरूलाई पनि समस्या हुँदै जान्छ I जथाभाबी रुख काट्नाले प्रदूषण बढ्छ जसले गर्दा मानिसहरू विभिन्न रोगको सिकार बन्न पुग्छन् I त्यसैले हामी सबै मिलेर रुख जोगाउनुपर्छ I
