Accepting The Way We Are!

Do you love the way you are? I mean, when you just look at yourself in the mirror, do you ever think that you’re the perfect one with no flaws and imperfection? Or do you just feel disgusted about what you see and start criticizing your own body parts? Well, even the world’s most beautiful person never stops criticizing their body parts. Many people can say that it's natural but I don’t think so. It’s simply like you’re not able to accept yourself and if you have a problem accepting yourself then believe me you can never earn your self-esteem. 

             We live in a world that is crazed by physical attraction and to boost this even more, we have media which has become one of the most important sources of discovering ourselves in front of the whole world. It has been very important for people to look perfect every time. There are many influencers, public figures that we admire look very perfect with no flaws. And to match their level, we buy different cosmetics items spending billions of dollars. We start carving a different image of ourselves rather than being who we are. It’s true that applying beauty products makes you perfect from your physical appearance but does it build your character and define who you are? The real truth is that we shouldn’t live our life according to others' perceptions. There is nothing wrong with us. We are perfect in the way we are. Who we are is more important than what others want us to be. And as soon as we understand this, we will realize that there is nothing wrong with us.

              By accepting ourselves, we overcome the issue regarding self-esteem and when we start loving ourselves the way we are every person starts loving us. As said by Lucille Ball “Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” By dealing with every obstacle confidently, we’ll be able to attain our goal through inner energy, and this time the world also accepts us the way we are and gives an opportunity for our success. We should not forget the fact that inner beauty defines our true happiness. A smile is more than enough for us to be beautiful, very beautiful.

                So, just try to find your inner happiness rather than craving for your physical appearance with certain beauty products. Learn to love yourself the way you are and you’ll see everything beautiful in the world.

नारी शिक्षा: आजको आवश्यकता

नारी आजको युगकी सान हुन् । नारीले नै यस संसारलाई जन्माएकी हुन् । यही नारीले गर्दा नै यो संसारको निर्माण भएको हो । आजको युगमा शिक्षा मानिसको लागि अत्यन्तै आवश्यक हुन्छ । यसै शिक्षामा नारी शिक्षा पनि आवश्यक हुन्छ । अहिलेको युगमा नारी र पुरुषबिच विभेद नभए पनि हाम्रो देशमा भने अहिलेसम्म छोरालाई प्राथमिकता दिने चलन चलिरहेको छ ।

 नेपालजस्तो देशमा नारी शिक्षा अत्यन्तै आवश्यक हुन्छ । नेपालका गाउँघर अशिक्षित छन् । कतिपय गाउँलेहरू अन्धविश्वासको पछि लागी छोरीहरूलाई पढाउन रुचाउँदैनन् । यस्ता ठाउँमा छोरीहरूलाई प्राथमिकता दिने जस्ता भाव  देखिँदैनन् । छोराहरूले परिवारको वंश अगाडि बढाउँछन् भन्ने सोचाइले गर्दा कयौँ गाउँलेहरू छोरीहरूलाई हेला गर्दछन् । छोरी न जन्मियोस् भनेर पहिले धेरै मानिसहरूले गर्भपात गर्थे । छोरीहरूलाई पढाएर शिक्षित बनाउनुको सट्टा घरायसी कामकाज गर्ने  शिक्षा दिन्थे । कतिपय गाउँलेहरू छोरीहरूको बच्चामै विवाह गरेर अर्काको घरमा पठाइदिन्छन् । नेपालमा धेरै गाउँहरू भएकाले शिक्षा र चेतनाको अभाव बढी देखिन्छ । त्यसैले हामीले शिक्षाको लागि जनचेतना जगाउनुपर्छ । जुन घरमा आमा शिक्षित छैनन्, त्यहाँ शैक्षिक वातावरण बनाउन मुस्किल हुन्छ । बच्चाको भविष्य निर्माण गर्न मुस्किल हुन्छ । त्यस घरमा अशिक्षाको अन्धकार छाउँछ तर नारी शिक्षित भइन् भने देश तथा संसारभर एक उदाहरण प्रस्तुत गर्न सक्छिन् । 

अहिले कतिपय नारीहरूले आफ्ना नाम कमाउन सकेका छन् । नारीहरूले सबै स्थानमा काम गरेर पहिलेको समाजको सङ्कीर्ण सोचलाई बदल्ने प्रयास गरेका छन् । मलाला युसुफजाईको नै उदाहरण लिई नेपाली नारी पनि शिक्षाको महत्त्व सम्झन सक्छन् । मलालाले नारीहरूले शिक्षा पाउनु उनीहरूको अधिकार हो र यो अधिकारलाई कसैले खाेस्न सक्दैनन् भनेर आवाज उठाइन् । आधा शरीर नचल्ने पारिजात पनि नेपालमा एक उदाहरण बनिन् । उनले आत्मबल र  आत्मविश्वासले कलम चलाई पुरै नेपालभर एक चर्चित साहित्यकार बनेर नाम कमाइन् ।

आजको युगमा नारी पनि पुरुषभन्दा कम छैनन् । चुलाेचौकाे छाडेर  नारीहरू डाक्टर, इन्जिनियर बन्न सक्षम भएका छन् । यो संसारकै लागि गर्वकाे कुरा हो । गाउँघरतिर भने शिक्षाको उचित बन्दोबस्त नभए पनि धेरै गाउँलेहरूले सञ्चार तथा जनचेतनाको माध्यमबाट नारी शिक्षाको महत्त्व बुझ्न सकेका छन् । अझै चेतना जगाई हामीले नारी शिक्षाको आवश्यकता पुरै संसारभर फैलाउन सक्छौँ ।

We, humans, take productivity as a directly proportional quantity for being successful and accomplished. The Google search for the term “Productivity” had seen a great spike in late March of 2020 just as the world began to shut down. People started feeling that they were wasting their time, just spending time on YouTube, Netflix, or just taking long naps and wanted to get things done and learn new skills. 

To accomplish what you want, it shouldn’t be about doing your least favorite task first then doing the activities you enjoy doing. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite. Ever wondered why you have high motivation and enthusiasm to do the things that you like and not having the same zeal when you’re doing something that you don’t like. It’s because of the energy you get while doing the activities you like, they are dependent on Domaine, the hormone your brain releases when you are happy and enjoy doing it but you can’t trick your brain to release dopamine while not doing anything. What your goal, to get things done, should be starting with the activities that you love while you complete that task, dopamine is released and it makes you happy and motivated and while you are satisfied with the work you did, you should be going after the other things that don’t seem so appealing. 

Doing tasks that appeal to you first should be your goal to achieve what you don’t like. It basically sums up to, starting your day, doing the project or your assignments that you have avoided will make you avoid it again that day as well but starting out with the activities that you are interested in or something that gives you satisfaction after completing it, will make you look forward to completing the remaining tasks.

Google Is Dangerous, And How I Am 90% More Private Than Normal People On The Internet

Google as of now is a potential threat to our privacy. Google, LLC is an American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, a search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. It is considered one of the Big Four technology companies, alongside Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft. It began in January 1996 as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were both PhD students at Stanford University in Stanford, California. Page and Brin originally nicknamed the new search engine "BackRub", because the system checked backlinks to estimate the importance of a site. But now it may be one of the greatest threats towards our privacy and data.

As Google is so much involved in our life that we can’t even think of a life without it. Now, Let me explain to those who are thinking it is not involved in my life. You use Android that’s by Google, you want to surf the internet you use google chrome, you want to search something you use google search, as of now, I am using google docs in google chrome listening to a podcast on youtube. Now if we have a private company so close to us it is sure to use that closeness to their advantage to get more fortune.

Have you noticed that the ads you see on Google, YouTube and even Facebook are so much optimized and most of the time it shows ads of your last google search or your last website visit? To these private companies which are free to use they need a stable flow of money and that is not possible as they are free so we are trading our information and lifestyle.

I got the information about my data and privacy which is not with me and is with a private company. I hate that so I now wanted to get off on my own where I am the master of my data and privacy and while thinking how I was going to achieve it I came up with the first move to use windows phone instead of android. Which is a little back in development in terms of hardware and software but is way developed in keeping my privacy and data with me. Next, I changed the browser which blocks all the cross-site trackers and other creepy stuff on the internet and is faster than google chrome. Because of which I am 40% more private than others not doing the same thing. Now, I wanted to step up the game and I didn’t want google as my main search engine provider so I started searching for other options and was convinced with some but was not totally ready to entrust them. Now, I was in trouble but I am not a quitting kind of person so now, I wanted to use my 5 years of programming experience to use and make my own search engine which respects privacy ( basically what I wanted a search engine to be like ) and uses three servers before it reaches the end-user, this will makes data so private that you, your router and your internet provider are the only ones able to get that data. I am making it right now and it will also probably be one of the first search engines made in Nepal, it is nowhere to be completed. It can just show search results right now and if the amount of requests is increased to the server it freaks out and gives one search result which is hilarious to watch, my server crying doesn’t do this to me.

I named it Khoji or also known as Khoji hera and after it is complete I will be 90% more private on the internet. Go to Khoji to see what it can do right now. You will be able to use Khoji hera after it is out at Khoji. And the other 10% out of 100 is something that we don’t have the power to control yet. But I know one day we will be completely private and our data will be our own, none of theirs.

सबै जीवलाई बाँच्नका लागि खाना चाहिन्छ । खानालाई दुई भागमा वर्गीकरण गर्न सकिन्छ । ती हुन्ः शाकाहारी भाेजन जसमा कुनै प्रकारको जनावरको मासु हुँदैन र मांसाहारी भाेजन जसमा मासु समावेश गरिएको हुन्छ । खानासम्बन्धी विषय व्यक्तिको जीवनमरणसँग जोडिएकाले हामीले कुन किसिमका खाना सेवन गर्छाैं, त्यसमा ध्यान पुर्याउन आवश्यक हुन्छ । शाकाहारी भाेजन राम्राे कि मांसाहारी भाेजन राम्राे भन्ने कुरा धेरै विवादास्पद विषय रहेकाे छ । त्यही पनि कुन भाेजन उपयुक्त हुन्छ भन्ने विचार व्यक्ति व्यक्तिअनुसार फरक पर्छ । 

मानिस ढुङ्गे युगमा सिकार गरेर जीवनयापन गर्न बाध्य थिए । जनावरको मासु नखाई बाँच्नका लागि अरू कुनै विकल्प नरहँदा मानिस मांमसाहारी बन्न पुगे । पछि पछि बर्बर युगमा पुग्दा मानवमा मानसिक विकास हुँदै आयो र मानिसले कृषि उत्पादन र पशुपालनकाे सुरुवात गर्याे । मानिसले धर्म संस्कृतिकाे पनि विकास गर्याे । अहिले यस सभ्य युगमा जब मानव याे जगत्‌कै विकसित र सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्राणी हाे त्यसैले यति बेला मानिसलाई खान र बाँच्नका लागि अरू प्राणीकाे हिंसा गर्न आवश्यक छैन । त्यसैले कसैले शाकाहारी भाेजनलाई प्राथमिकता दिन्छन् त काेही मांसाहारी भोजनलाई प्राथमिकता दिन्छन् । खासमा निर्दाेष जनावरलाई काटमार गरेर खानु पाप हो भन्छन् । त्यही पनि शरीरलाई चाहिने पाेषण पुर्याउन धेरैले मांसाहारी भाेजन खान्छन् । नेपालमा पनि खसी नकाटिकन दसैँ मनाइँदैन । आज विश्वमा मासुजन्य उत्पादनकाे उच्च माग रहेकाे छ । मांसाहारी भोजनको अधिक उपभोगले युरिक एसिड, मुटु रोगजस्ता विभिन्न दीर्घकालीन रोगहरू लाग्छन् । रातो मासु र प्रशोधित मासु धेरै खाँदा क्यान्सरसम्म हुन सक्ने पनि विज्ञहरूले औँल्याएका छन् । 

हाम्रो धर्मशास्त्रअनुसार खानालाई केवल शरीरको पोषणको स्रोतको रूपमा मात्र लिनुहुँदैन तर दिमागको कम्पनको रूपमा पनि लिनुपर्छ । शाकाहारी भोजनको सेवनले उच्च कोलेस्ट्राेल, मुटु रोग, उच्च रक्तचाप, मधुमेहजस्ता समस्याबाट बचिन्छ । जनावरमा आधारित खाद्य पदार्थहरूको पोषणले ट्युमरको विकास गर्दछ जबकि बोटबिरुवामा आधारित पोषणले ट्युमर विकासलाई घटाउँछ । शाकाहारी खानाले पनि हाम्रो मांसपेशीहरूलाई बलियो पार्छ र तिनीहरूलाई छिटो बढ्न मद्दत गर्दछ । यसले शरीरको क्षमता र हेमोग्लोबिन कायम राख्न मद्दत गर्दछ । 

हामीले आफ्नो शरीरलाई के खुवाउँछौँ, त्यसले हाम्रो स्वास्थ्य र जीवनमा महत्त्व राख्छ । मांसाहारी आहार वास्तवमा प्रोटिन र भिटामिन बी १२ तथा अन्य भिटामिनजस्ता पोषक तत्त्वमा धनी भए पनि हानिकारक हुन्छ । मांसाहारी खानेकुराले हाम्रा मांसपेशीहरूलाई बढ्न मद्दत गर्दछ । आधुनिक विज्ञानअनुसार अन्डा तथा मासुजन्य पदार्थ पोषणका लागि अत्यन्त महत्त्वपूर्ण छन् किनकि यी खानेकुराहरूमा प्रोटिनको मात्रा धेरै हुन्छ । तर पनि जनावरहरूलाई बाँच्ने हक छ भनेर बुझ्ने मानिसहरू मांसाहारी भाेजनको विरुद्ध जान्छन् । जनावरको प्रोटिनमा आवश्यक एमिनो एसिड पाइन्छ । जनावरको मासु विभिन्न भिटामिन र खनिजहरूमा समृद्ध भएको पाइन्छ तर रातो मासुले पेटको क्यान्सरकाे जोखिम बढाउँछ । कुनै पनि प्रकारको मासुले लामो समयपछि हानी गर्दछ । शाकाहारी कि मांसाहारी भोजन बेस भन्ने प्रश्नको छनाेट व्यक्तिमा निर्भर हुन्छ । मानिसहरू स्वाद र पोषणका आधारमा मांसाहारी भोजन सेवन गर्न मन पराउँछन्, तर मांसाहारी भोजन रोगको भण्डार हो । आयुर्वेदअनुसार मानव भनेको पृथ्वीमा सबैभन्दा विकसित प्रणी भएकाले हाम्रो आहारमा हिंसा कम हुनुपर्छ । मानिसले वातावरणमा रहेका हरेक जीवलाई हेर्नुपर्दछ । उसले खाने आहारको लाभ मानिस आफैँलाई मात्र हैन वातावरणमा रहेका हरेक जीवलाई हुनपर्छ भन्ने मेरो व्यक्तिगत विचार हाे ।

अत: पूर्ण शाकाहारी वा अति मांसाहारी हुनु दुवै राम्रो होइन । हामीले खाने सबै खानाहरूको आफ्नै पोषण महत्त्व हुन्छ । पूर्ण शाकाहारीहरूले मांसाहारी भोजनबाट पाउनुपर्ने विभिन्न पोषण तत्त्वहरू पाउन सक्दैनन् वा कम पाउँछन्, जसका कारण दीर्घकालमा समस्या आउन सक्छ । अर्कोतिर मांसाहारी भोजन पनि अधिक मात्रामा सेवन गरेमा विभिन्न प्रकारका रोगहरू लाग्न सक्दछन्, जसको उदाहरण कोभिड १९ नै रहेको छ ।

First things first. What is focus? Focus is the act of concentrating your interest or activity on something. In order to concentrate on one thing, you must ignore many other things. Focus is the key to success and happiness. The most successful person on this planet is highly focused as they pay attention to the present moment and present tasks. They are fully engaged in all the activities and do their work more effectively and creatively.

You are living in a modern world where you can get distracted easily by a lot of things every day. You can try everything, but if you lack focus in your life, it is pretty impossible to become a successful person. Focus will help you to discover the path that you don’t even know exists. We become so blind with our problems in life that we forget to focus on possibilities that are around us. Focus will help you to expand your intelligence and knowledge. When you start to focus on learning things, your knowledge will expand automatically and will help you to be more productive at your work. Focus helps us to determine the level of achievements we will get into our life. When we focus on achieving something in our life, we will reach our destination. Focus helps to be a successful person faster than expected.

In addition, to be more focused, prepare your brain with what you want to achieve. We should just focus on one thing, mainly we should avoid multitasking. If we are focusing on multiple things, we all will get confused. We also should take regular breaks, do some meditation, regular exercise to improve our mental focus. Furthermore, we should eliminate distractions and become active listeners.  

Focus can change your life if used correctly. Successful people know the importance of focus in life. Our focus will determine the level of success we achieve. When the focus is aligned with action, it will produce great results. As a result, Focus can truly change everything.

Surviving 2020!

It’s already September! Just three more months for a new and “happy” year. It was just March when the lockdown happened. It's over six months, we have been staying home and wishing that this year would end and we will begin with a fresh start to the year 2021. This year was terrific and unpleasant. From the coronavirus to protests in the US for George Floyd, we have been fighting this year and trying to survive this year.

When we see this year, it feels like we are in some movies, fighting for our existence. When I think about this year, it feels like I am behind bars, staying in one place, and counting the days and months about how this year will end and I will be free. But I guess it's not going to happen very soon. I hope that it's not a trailer of a movie because if it is then I believe that it will be a challenge for not just me but everyone to survive the movie.  According to research done in the UK, it was said that 10% of people who were quarantined, suffered from high depressive symptoms due to the recent pandemic. In the recent news, we have also heard about the wildfire that has spread on the West coast of the USA and due to the fire, many people have lost their lives and it has been very difficult for the national centers to control it. Not just this, but even in Australia (a few months back), the fire was uncontrollable and many animals got extinct. Many people have lost their jobs because of the pandemic and the unemployment rate has increased rapidly this year. It has been difficult for people who do not have money to feed themselves. The only option they have been left with is death. The doctors have come to our help and they have been saving the lives of so many people. Saving the lives of people during this pandemic and risking their own life has never been so easy. But for the survival of people and the world, doctors have come as gods. Not just the doctors, but everyone who has helped people to survive in 2020 has shown an act of bravery and this act of heroism will always be remembered by every individual. 

The hardship of people has increased and there has been no other way for people to survive. Not just the pandemic but all the other problems that have risen in this year has made one’s life more difficult.. From traveling around the world before to now being able to just walk outside for essential goods, our lives have completely changed. Even after this year ends, we will have to live in a very different way. It will be completely different from the way we used to live before. We have to fight and be brave enough for tomorrow rather than being disappointed with the present life. As we have heard the song, "It's a new day, it's a new way", we also have to start a fresh day with a fresh start, with no more worries of the past and just focusing on the present. We just have one life, so just focus on surviving the present and fighting it for a better and a new future. Let's fight 2020 and survive through it making a way for a better tomorrow.

नमस्कार, म कुर्सी ! मलाई त्यो दुईखुट्टे स्टुल भनेर नझुक्किनुहोस् नि । ४ तगडा खुट्टा भएको, बस्दा आराम महसुस हुने, काठ वा प्लास्टिकले बनेको उही कुर्सी हुँ म । मलाई सिकर्मीले जन्म दिए; राम्रो प्लाईले बनेको छु म । मेरो काम अनौठो सुनिएला तर यो काम गर्दा म खुब रमाउँछु । आफू उभिएर जहिले चार खुट्टा टेकेर अरूलाई बस्ने अवसर दिन्छु ।

म एउटा कारखानामा जन्मिएँ । त्यहाँबाट खट्टक खट्टक गर्दै लगेर फर्निचर पसलको अगाडि म नमुनाको रूपमा राखिएँ । यसरी अरूबाट छुट्टिन पाउँदा मक्ख परेँ म । मलाई एउटा परिवारले दुई-तीन दिनमै खरिद गरेर लग्याे र त्यही परिवारको घरमा मैले मेरो जीवन गुजारिरहेको छु । सुन्छु कि - अरू प्रकारका नि कुर्सी रहेछन्; भोज खान जाने ठाउँमा मेरा साथीहरू टन्नै हुँदा रहेछन् । अस्ति त ती मानवहरूले सांसद भवन भन्ने ठाउँमा हाम्रो दुरुपयोग गरेर एक अर्कामाथि हमला गरे भन्ने नि सुनेथेँ !

दिनहरू बित्दै छन् । सधैँ यसरी उभिएर मेरा खुट्टाहरू गल्न थालेका छन् । मभित्र काठ  खाने किरा बसेर स्वाट्ट स्वाट्ट पार्दै मेरो नसा काट्दै छन् । खरिद हुँदा खेलौना हल्लाउने छोराले ठुलो भएर अहिले मलाई रिसको झोकमा झटार्दै छ । लाग्छ, अब मेराे जीवनमा धेरै समय बाँकी छैन । 

म एउटा सानो पाठ पढाउन चाहन्छु । त्यो पाठ निःस्वार्थ सेवाको पाठ हो । भन्छन्, सेवाको फल मिठो हुन्छ; म सारा जीवन उभिएँ तर एकरति नि मलाई कसैले बस्ने मौका दिएन । खुट्टा गलेर भाँचिन लागेको बेला पनि म उभिएकै छु र गौरवसाथ उभिन्छु । म जीवनभर उभिएँ तैपनि मेरो मनमा बस्ने सोच आएन । म जस्तै तपाईंलाई नि बेला बेला निस्वार्थी हुन अनुरोध गर्छु । दिन प्रतिदिन मानवता र भलाइ गुम्दै गएको छ । कृपया यसलाई म कुर्सीकाे तर्फबाट मानवहरूका लागि सानो पाठका रूपमा लिनुहाेला र पालन गर्नुहाेला । धन्यवाद ।

Imagination; the word, is something that pops up in a person's mind or the eyes, everyone must have felt it at some point in their life, you might even be out here imagining about kinds of stuff that constantly fill your mind in any situation you are in. If someone says you “imagine a car in front of you” then you instantly have an image of any car of your choice in front of you and just keep that thing in your head and suppose the car. Imagination is a vast thing that is in our head forever, many discoveries happen because of imagination. Imagination has no limits, it's all in your head and no one can stop you from imagining anything in your head.

The main role of imagining something is played by your mind and it can or can’t be controlled, I have no idea about that. It is also said that imagination and the dreams you see are interconnected and have a purpose in a person's life but that just might not be the case as well, what if a person is dreaming of something else and has an image of something else like I do. I keep on imagining a lot of things most of the time even if I’m actively doing something. Dreams and imaginations in my point of view are different and are like sky and land in my case, but as we know it might not be the same for everyone else as everyone born in the universe i.e for us in our planet earth is a unique individual that has their perspective of thinking and might find me wrong in their way. I’ve heard many famous individuals saying that imagination has something to do with a person’s life and if someone can control their mind they can control what they imagine and I find it totally wrong cause what I imagine has nothing to do with my reality and the thing about controlling the mind and imagination I find that wrong too cause how much I try to meditate or concentrate my mind in only one thing I have imaginations of really weird things and I just deny the facts, but as I said it might not be the same in everyone as everyone’s unique and has a different perspective.

Imaginations sometimes can be very hard and stiff that can play with your mind and emotions as well, I’ve seen it in some people where they imagine of something really scary being around them and then they suddenly lose their state of mind control and get scared of their own imaginations and express them emotionally, either crying or shouting; in their own ways. Therefore I say that imagination is something that no one can get a clue of and is just something that they have in themselves to see in them.
