My favourite festival is holi. It is one of the most famous festivals in Nepal. It is celebrated in the month of Falgun. It is the festival of colours. During the festival, the people gather and play colours with each other. This festival brings happiness and joy in people. In this festival, we also eat sweets and delicious food. Everyone enjoys this festival. I love celebrating this festival with my family and loved ones.
पानी हामीलाई नभई नहुने वस्तु हो । पानी बिना हामी बाँच्न सक्दैनौँ । हामीलाई खाना पकाउन, सरसफाइ गर्न, पिउन, लुगा धुन आदि धेरै कामको लागि पानी चाहिन्छ । पानी बोटबिरुवा र जनावरलाई पनि चाहिन्छ । त्यसैले हामीले पानी खेर फाल्नु हुँदैन । हामीले शुद्ध पानी पिउनु पर्छ । हामीले पानी जतन गरेर प्रयोग गर्नुपर्छ ।
Dashain is my favourite festival. It is also the main festival of Hindus. We celebrate it for fifteen days. The first day of dashain is Ghatasthapana, the seventh day of dashain is Phulpati, the seventh day is Asthami, the eighth day is Asthami, the ninth day is Nawami, the tenth day is Vijaya Dashami and the fifteenth day is Purnima. I celebrate dashain by flying kites, wearing new clothes, playing swing, eating delicious food and putting tika and jamara.
परिचय : ‘सुनको मुटु भएको केटो’ कथा विनय कसजूले लेख्नुभएको हो । यस कथामा चित्र भर्ने काम रविन्द्र मानन्धरबाट भएको हो । यो कथा साङ्ग्रिला पुस्तक प्रा.लिबाट प्रकाशन भएको हो।
कथावस्तु :
कक्षा पाँचका विद्यार्थीहरू खानेकुरा थाप्दै थिए । अरू विद्यार्थीको थालमा धेरै किसिमका खानेकुरा र रोनको थालमा एक टुक्रा पाउरोटी र चिजमात्र थियो । यो देखेर ओभीलाई अचम्म लाग्यो । रोनको खातामा पैसा सकिएकोले खाना पूरा नदिएको रहेछ। रोनको लागि भेन्डिन मेसिनमा पैसा राखेर खानेकुरा दिने ओभीको विचार थियो तर पैसा पुगेन । रोनले ओभीलाई रुँदै भने “म अब स्कुल पनि आउन पाउन्न होला, मेरी आमाले पनि बालाई छाडेर जानुभयो ।” ओभीलाई पनि रोनको कुरा सुनेर खानेकुरा खान मन लागेन । ओभी घर पुगेपछि आमालाई स्कुलमा भएको घटना सुनायो। रोन भोकै बसेको सुनेर आमालाई पनि दु:ख लाग्यो । ओभीकी आमाले ओभीलाई भन्नुभयो “त्यसो भए साथीको लन्च खातामा पैसा उठाएर राखिदिउँ न त”। पैसा कोकोसँग उठाउने भनेर ओभी र आमाले लिस्ट बनाए । ओभीले आफ्नै परिवारबाट उठेको पैसा रोनको लन्च खातामा जम्मा गरिदिए । ओभीले भने रोन तिमी अब भोकै बस्नु पर्दैन । तिम्रो खातामा पैसा छ । रोनले पनि अब पूरै खानेकुरा खान पायो । ओभी घर पुग्नासाथ आमालाई धन्यवाद दियो । आज हजुरको सहयोगले गर्दा रोन भोकै हुन परेन तर यस्तो समस्या रोनलाई मात्र नभई अरु साथीलाई पनि पर्न सक्छ भनेर आमा छोराले एउटा उपाय निकाले । उनीहरूले इन्टरनेटमा एउटा वेबपेज बनाए र नाम राखे । वेबपेजमा आफैँबाट रकम जम्मा गर्न थाले । पैसा जम्मा गर्ने अरु उपाए पनि सोच्न थाले । आफ्ना पुराना सामानहरू गराज सेलमा बिक्री गरे । वेबपेज हेर्ने मानिसहरूले पनि पैसा पठाउन थाले । केही दिनमै दश हजार डलर जम्मा भयो । ओभीले त्यो चेक आया दिदीलाई दिँदै भने हाम्रो स्कुलमा जो साथीको खातामा पैसा सकिन्छ उसको खातामा यो पैसा रखिदिनुस् । आया दिदीले ओभीलाई “तिम्रो मुटु त सुनले बनेको रहेछ ओभी” भन्दै धन्यवाद भन्नुभयो।

यस कथाका मुख्य पात्रहरू ओभी र रोन हुन् । सहायक पात्रहरूमा बिल,आया दिदी, ओभीकी आमा र अरु साथीहरू छन्।

यो कथा पढ्दा रमाइलो छ। यो कथामा हामी सबैले सबैलाई सहयोगको भावना राख्नुपर्छ भन्ने सन्देश दिइएको छ। म मेरा सबै साथीहरूलाई पनि यो कथा पढ्न अनुरोध गर्दछु।
My eyes can see beautiful colors and bright Sun
My nose can smell lovely flowers and a yummy smelling bun
My ears can hear the chirping sound of birds and a loud drum
My tongue can taste a sour lemon and sweets yum , yum!
My skin can feel cool ice and the hot sun
We must keep our sense organs neat and clean

मलाई ज्ञानगुन सिकाउने
आमा मेरी साथी हाे
पहिलो गुरु मेरी आमा
सबैभन्दा माथि हाे ।।
म धेरै सानो हुँदा
मलाई खाना खुवाउनुहुन्थ्याे
ताेतेताेते बोली बोल्दा
माया गरी सुताउनुहुन्थ्याे ।।
मेराे बोली बुझेर काम गर्ने
मेरी आमा धेरै ज्ञानी
ताते गरी हिँड्न सिकाउने
संसारकी सबैभन्दा प्यारी ।।
Once, I was just chilling in my room by playing my favourite video game, 'Roblox'. When I was playing, I saw a place that said, ‘Reality game play’. I got curious, so I went there and saw some blue spreckels all around me. The next thing I knew was that I was stuck in Roblox. I got scared, but thankfully there were some other people in the wheel too. They all told me that we had to stay there for 24 hours. I was shocked and worried because I was stuck in the game with some strangers. Even though I had to stay there for 24 hours, I started searching for a way to come out of it. I looked every way but didn’t find a way to come out. I was thinking about my parents and hoping that they would come to find me. Suddenly, I heard an alarm sound, and then I woke up. I found myself in my room and said, “Thank God”, it was just a dream.
सरल भाषामा शिक्षा भनेको ज्ञान हो । ज्ञानले मानिसलाई ज्ञानी बनाउँछ । शिक्षा विना मानिसको जीवन अधुरो हुन्छ । शिक्षा प्राप्त गर्नको लागि उमेर, धर्म, संस्कार केहीले पनि छेक्दैन। मानिसले जन्म लिएदेखि बाँचुन्जेलसम्म ज्ञान लिन सक्छ । शिक्षाले मानिसलाई राम्रो नराम्रो, असल खराब, गर्न हुने र गर्न नहुने काम गर्न छुट्याउन सिकाउँछ । शिक्षा भएन भने संसार नै अँध्याराे हुन्छ । मानिसले शिक्षा पढेर ,देखेर, सुनेर, छामेर पनि प्राप्त गर्न सक्छन् । मानिसले शिक्षा घर, स्कुल, कलेज जुनसुकै ठाउँमा पनि प्राप्त गर्न सक्छ । सही बाटो समात्न शिक्षा चाहिन्छ । शिक्षाले मानिसलाई अनुशासित र सभ्य बनाउँछ ।
Jump KTM is the playroom. It is the first trampoline park. It is situated in Dhumbarahi and Jhamsikhel. We can play volleyball, basketball, trampoline, wall climbing and block pit. There is also a section for babies to play with balls and slides. We have to pay money to play inside. They provide us gripped socks to play on the trampoline and to climb. After playing if we are hungry, we can go upstairs to the cafe for yummy food. I have been there with my cousins. We had a lot of fun. I liked jumping and climbing on the trampoline the most. I would love to visit the place again.
My dog’s name is Denburk. It is four years old. It is white and black in colour. It is of medium size. It runs very fast. It guards our house. It eats rice, meat and biscuits. I take care of it. I play ball with it. It likes to sit on my lap. I really like when it runs towards me. I take it for a walk everyday.
