On July 1, 2019, we, 8th graders and the 9th graders along with our class teachers, went to the Police Canine Division for our field visit. The session lasted for 2 hours. There were minimum of 38 dogs. They looked very scary. We also saw many horses there. German Shepherd showed us that how they caught thieves. The dog also had their own uniform while performing. Overall, the field visit was very informative and enjoyable.
We should respect diversity. Everyone is discriminated according to their gender, race, religion, etc. However, everyone's the same, all religions are the same. We should not discriminate anyone’s norms, values, customs, and traditions, etc. We should not discriminate young ones saying that they can't do anything. All the castes are the same and everyone is equal. There are 125 castes and ethnic groups. If we start to discriminate, all the ethnic groups will get broken down and our country would not be known for being united in diversity. So we should respect everyone.
The stone age is the oldest age. The people used stone tools to hunt animals. They developed stone tools. They wore leaves. They also used to live in caves. They started to cook food by hitting two same sized rocks. They started rear animals, so when they would not get food, they could eat the reared animals. They also started to do agriculture. But, now it is the technology age. It is the modern age, it is the age of using technology. We are developing every single object every day. We were using TV, mobile, laptop, computer, smartphone, etc. We are also discovering many planets.
On 4th June 2019, the school organized social life skill. Mr. Kuldeep Gupta divided us into three groups. In my group, there were four members including me. We had to go to Grade one to teach them about dental hygiene. We taught them about good and bad eating habits. They were very nice to us. They listened to whatever we said very carefully. They answered the questions we asked them at the end. We got this opportunity due to Mr. Gupta. So, I would like to thank him for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
One day our teacher gave us the information that we were going to have an event called,”Back To School Night” program for our parents and some volunteers were selected. My friends told me that only the house captains and CRs were selected. I was really sad because I also wanted to volunteer in the program and have a new experience by guiding people. But I was shocked when I got the list. I was also selected for volunteering. I was very happy and could not express my happiness. We volunteers were called for a meeting about how to guide parents and we were handed over the schedule. I clearly understood my work.
I was really excited. We also got a diary to write our report from the meeting. Finally the day came, “Back To School Night”. We had our regular classes and when our classes ended we went to the canteen to eat snacks and after eating we had a meeting with Kuldeep Sir. He gave us our placard where there were the names of our classes which we were assigned. I was assigned as a volunteer in Grade One Dhaulagiri B. I was feeling very proud that I was selected. Then, we went stood in line as it was time for parents to come in front of the stage. The parents came and stood in line and they had assembly like how we students have. After the assembly was over the parents were guided to their classes by their respective volunteers. The program went smoothly like it was supposed to. At last I brought the parents on the ground and the photo session started.
To sum up, It was really an amazing program. I got a new experience in my life and got to know how to guide people. I was very happy that I got selected.
During rainy seasons, when there is excessive rainfall, the river rises above the banks and flows into nearby lands causing a flood. It damages crops, roads, property, and life. In such times, water supply, communication, and electric lines get affected. There is a shortage of food, water, etc. Due to unhygienic conditions, diseases like typhoid, malaria and other diseases spread and cause to be epidemic. A cyclone is a very strong wind accompanied by heavy rains. In coastal areas flooding is caused by cyclones.

Samrat started to teach about teeth. When Samrat finished telling about teeth to the brothers and sisters, Ocean started her presentation. When she finished her presentation, I started giving a presentation about teeth. Then, we started to ask one by one to all of the brothers and sisters. They were very excited to learn about new things. Ocean, Samrat and I made the pictures of teeth. I described teeth to all of the brothers and sisters. Mr. Gupta was taking a photo. When I finished discussing, Mr. Gupta said the class was over. So, we all said goodbye to the brothers and sisters. Then we went to class. The program was finished at 11:15.

Childhood is the age where children are like a flower bud, very sensitive. Children are very smart these days. On 4th June we the students from Grade VIII went to teach dental hygiene to the students of Grade I. It was an amazing experience. The program was conducted by our health teacher, Mr. Kuldeep Gupta. He guided us about what we should do and what we should not. He gave us many ideas to make learning a fun activity and oriented us about how to teach and develop a friendship with students.
In the third period, we went to the respective sections of class one as assigned. I had to go to Grade I 'Manaslu’ with my two friends: Samrat and Sarjan. As we entered the classroom, it felt so good to listen to the little sweet voices of the students. As we started teaching them about dental hygiene they were so eager to learn about it. So they were paying attention to whatever we were saying. They were fully concentrated on things we were talking about. Whenever we asked them questions, they answered promptly. All the grade eight students were shocked to know that the students of grade I were fully aware of what should be done and what should not be done to keep our teeth healthy. The happy faces of those students reflected their inner beauty and their smartness. At the end of the class, they repeated everything we taught them and they thanked us which felt so good.
The experience of teaching had never been bad to me. It has always brought a smile on my face. And this time was a different experience to see the students eagerly trying to learn. This made me realize that “ Today’s readers are for sure tomorrow’s leaders”. It was our good luck to get an opportunity to teach them and was our pleasure to deliver our knowledge to the children.
When I heard about “Back To School Night,” I was really excited because it was the event in which parents had to come to school and study like us. Luckily, I was selected as a volunteer. I was so happy that I got selected as a volunteer in the event because I always wanted to volunteer in Back To School Night. Each volunteer were given their own classes to volunteer and I was assigned to volunteer in Grade 2B. We were clear about what we had to do. On the day of the event, we first had our snacks then we had a small meeting. When the parents arrived, they lined up for assembly. After the assembly, we took them to their respective classes. They had their classes according to the routine. After their classes were over, I took them back to the ground. They were talking with other parents and teachers. Everyone was having so much fun during the event.
Bats are the only mammals that fly. Bats' ancestors lived in trees and ate insects and fruits. Somewhere along the line, a bat was born with a flap of skin that stretched across the finger bones. Perhaps this extra skin webbing gave that bat ancestor some sort of advantage and it reproduced and passed the characteristic onto its offspring. After generations of bats, the fingers became very long and the thin membrane joined the fingers together to become wings.
