A school is a place where we go to learn about new things and also to learn about teamwork. The school helps us to participate in new activities, build self-confidence and develop our minds. If we do not go to school our minds will not develop. There are many schools like Sifal Secondary School, Daffodile, Reliance Public School, Kasthamandap, Pathsala, Bagmati Boarding School, etc. From school, we will be talented. By doing the admission, we can get a chance to enter the school.

Today, on August 8th, 2019 Parent’s Talk was held. The parent of a Grade III student came and told us about digital payment. The payment done from a smartphone is called digital payment. There are many types of digital payment apps, they are eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay, etc. It is easy to use and can easily transfer money from one account to another account. If we download this type of apps in our smartphones then we don’t need to carry wallets. We will even be safe from a thief. It can even save our environment because the digital payment does not need to use papers receipt and paper money for payments.
On the 8th of August, Mr.Ganesh Lamichhane (Parent of Shuvee Lamichhane) spoke to grade VI and VII about Digital Payment System. The way of paying for goods or services electronically, instead of using cash or a check is known as a digital payment system. Digital Payment can be considered as electronic payment. Before, we needed to stand in a queue to buy goods, but now we can easily buy goods from our own phones (Digital wallet). Some examples of the digital payment systems in Nepal are eSewa, Khalti, iPay, IME Pay, Phone Pay, etc.. In the old days, we couldn’t pay bills from smartphones. But in modern days, we can pay bills from our smartphones. Our account cannot be hacked by hackers.
On August 8, 2019, there was a Parents Talk Program. In the program, Mr. Ganesh Lamichhane shared with us his experience with the digital payment system. We, the students of Grade VI and VII, learned about digital payment. Mr. Lamichhane explained to us about all the uses and importance of digital payment. On the 8th of August, we had parents talk where Mr. Ganesh Lamichhane, parent of Shuvee Lamichhane participated. It was confirmed that we would have parents talk on Thursday, the day after our examination. I knew that from the calendar but I was totally unaware. We were in the computer lab and our class representative informed us about it and we went to the hall. In the hall I saw the presentation. It was quite interesting and the topic was ‘Digital Payment System’.
Mr. Ganesh Lamichhane was there to teach us about the digital payment system. He was quite funny and he told us that he is also a teacher in a college. I like the funny term that he used for Google, which was ‘Google Baba’. The information he shared was quite informative. He told us about how to pay the bills and money through the app and Browser. He told us that it was safe to have a phone wallet rather than having a wallet in a pocket. There is a chance of getting robbed anytime while carrying a wallet in the pocket whereas a phone wallet is much safer and easier.
I got all the information and that I myself will encourage my parents to use a phone wallet. We asked many questions to Mr. Lamichhane and we got our queries fulfilled. I will follow the digital payment system and encourage others to do so as well.

After downloading the app, we open the app and fill in all the information and detail asked by the app. Once that detail and information get verified, we can start using the apps. The apps can be used to pay any bills and payments through mobile phones easily. It also helps from being robbed or stolen.
