I was lost in the darkness of failure. I couldn’t find my way back, all I could was hear the undesired and expect the unexpected. The result was contrary to what was expected of me. I tried to escape the truth; the gloom but deep inside I knew that I couldn’t abscond owing to the blunder I made. Was it me? Only me? Or the stress that dragged me to this gloom? Nevertheless, I heard the divine voice of my inner self “you’ve to be victorious, you’ve got this” and that was what kept me going. It was the moment when I found a rainbow in that immense darkness. I accepted myself. I was all my experiences. I was a rainbow and I was perfect in my imperfections. I’m perfect in my imperfections. I’m a rainbow….!

Children are a sea left to be explored. The mysterious and fantastic things you can find are amazing. We learn every day. If not a lot, a few things each day. Our society is focused on theoretical learning, but children or adults should have practical knowledge. Children break the barriers of society and think and do impossible things. We should not be limited to one type of learning.
Children learn from the very beginning of their life. We learn from the bottom step. To eat, walk, run, sit, etc is all that we learn from our parents. They play a very important role in children’s life. Children need parents to support in every step of life. Children learn whatever they see. If parents fail to provide a warm and friendly environment at home, the child results in learning bad habits.
As we grow up, the means of learning are various. We learn from teachers, friends, books, the internet and so on. As children spend more time at school, they spend less time at home. But if parents do not follow up on the studies of children, they might not be abstract things that they are meant to.
There are few things that theoretical knowledge cannot provide but only parents can. Some lessons like, how to deal with people and how to solve problems are taught by parents.
It was the last day of our BLE exam, which was computer. But 10 minutes prior to our exam, Mr. Tej Prasad Kafle called me and Pranjal out and we were asked to meet him after the exam. During the exam, my mind was wondering about why he had called us. Right after the exam was over we went to Mr. Kafle. He informed us that we were chosen for internship for one month and asked if we were interested. We both agreed as we didn’t actually have any work for the whole month. The very first day we came to school, we were told that our reporting manager would be Mr. Kafle. We were assigned to look after the children and send them to parents if needed. Our main task throughout the internship was to supervise students when the school was open, make files and bags for OHS for those parents who came for admission inquiry, count the books and check the damage if any and help the teachers. Amongst all, my personal favorite day was the day when the teachers went for outing and I had to be in the administration. I was responsible to handle all the tasks all alone but I called Pranjal over as there would be no one in the school. I had to talk to the parents who came for admission inquiry and gave them information about the school. I stayed at school from 10 AM to 4 PM. We had lunch in the building right next to our school. The internship period was an important period in my life. Here I learned about the working environment, learned to work, make reports and many more. It was definitely a great advantage for me as I had seen every change in the school so it was not new to me on the first day of the new session. I knew all new teachers as well as all the upcoming events. In conclusion, I enjoyed my internship period and learned new things to a great extent.
I stayed up late the previous night. I woke up a bit later than usual that day. I was clueless about going to Narayanhiti Durbar that day until I reached school. We had to study in our first period which was C. Maths. Then the second period was Opt. Maths. We were summoned on the ground so we went to the ground. Then we got on our bus and reached the Durbar in few minutes. Then we were told not to take out cell phones inside the Durbar. So, I kept it on the bag. Then Mr. Nirmal came with a bunch of tickets in his hands and started distributing to everyone. After a while, we got through security checking and were said not to make any kinds of unnecessary noise while we were inside. The first thing that I saw in the palace was the head of a bear which was a little frightening. Then I saw tigers in attacking position which was nice. Then I saw big pictures of the Kings of Nepal hung on the Wall. I was amazed by all the artworks that were on the wall. There were rooms for guests, Queen's makeup room and so on. Lots of animals were part of the decoration. We also saw King’s throne. And after finishing the visit inside the palace, we went outside the area of the palace. We saw the bullet marks on the wall. We also saw a pond which was under maintenance. Later, after finishing the visit we came out of the palace and took a group photo and we left for school.
I visited the Narayanhiti palace on 28th January with my friends and the other students from grade 8 and 10. I went there for the first time. It was a fun experience and I gained knowledge about Narayanhiti palace. The palace was huge and an example of architectural brilliance in Nepal. The rooms in the palace were named after 75 districts of Nepal. I also saw the place where the royal massacre took place. It was a historic event that took place in the history of Nepal. Inside the palace, I saw paintings of the Kings of Nepal. I also saw the places where the royal family used to meet, have their dinner and the crown of the king. The field trip to Narayanhiti was very beneficial in accordance with education and fun. I hope the school would have more field trips like this.
Hello! My name is Pranjal Khatiwoda. I am going to share my experience with the internship opportunity that I got from our school. The last day (ending of my B.L.E exam) after the exam, I was called by Tej Sir and told about the internship.
The next day I was called at 10:00 AM and given the letter which needed to be filled by me and my parents so that I could start my internship from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm every day from 14th Chaitra, 2075 to 14th Baisakh, 2076. The first day I joined as an intern, I came to the school and all the teachers congratulated me.
One of my duties was to look after the children. I realized how hard it is to handle students and imagined how our teachers handled us. As the exam of other classes was not finished, I engaged myself in the usual work of managing students in the ground. Some students asked me why I was there and I told them about my internship. They also congratulated me. The work I was engaged with for a few days was file management and gate duty.
After the exams were over, I didn’t get to manage the children instead I had to manage the files for Open House Session (OHS). Also, I had to count materials and collect data. I had to report the data to Tej sir.
These were all the work I did in the first 15 days of joining as an intern.
My first session was over and in the mid-phase, I didn’t have much work to do. But, I used to help the teachers and others. However, the days were light compared to the first few days. At the end of my internship period i.e. 5 days remaining- I was engaged in counting books and helping the teachers to decorate classes.
Overall, I had a great time working as I got to learn a lot of things and my time was also utilized. I am very grateful for my school for providing me with this opportunity.
A former royal palace of Nepal, Narayanhiti Palace is located at the center of the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. The palace of the monarchy of Nepal is now a museum. The museum is the perfect example which provides us the great understanding about how the royal family lived some decades before. It holds great importance in the history of Nepal. It is an interesting place to learn about Nepalese regicide with the deepest and dark history of the kingdom of Nepal. It includes the massacre point which shows the bullet holes during the murder of the royal family in 2001.
We, the students of grade eight, nine and ten visited the museum. The palace museum has fifty-two rooms including the staterooms, royal bedrooms, and the king's office. The palace was quite eye-opening. The exotic and extravagant decorations have made the palace even more beautiful. Visiting the palace is like going back to 1970s. The skins and horns of the hunted animals were presented as showcases. The old furniture, arts, and architectures were somehow well-managed. The beautiful interior designs really impressed us. However, fewer efforts were made at preserving the arts and architectures. The photographs on the walls were going moldy. It took me almost about 2 two hours with a slow walk.
All in all, we enjoyed the visit. It was quite historic. The emotional and tragic part was when we got to see the bullet marks made while killing the king and his family. Some rooms were as basis as that of a middle class family while some looked too expensively beautiful.
After having spent 32 days long holiday from my previous school, I decided to go to a new school which was nearby. The school’s name is Deerwalk Sifal School. In short, we call it DSS.
Today is my first day at my new school. I am excited and little nervous. I reached school at 8:55 AM. I searched for my class and went inside the classroom. After sometime, the school prayer started in the classroom. After that we introduced with one other and I made many friends. Today my bench partner was Prasoon. He is a good artist. After a while Arjun sir who is our class teacher gave us a paper which included sudoku. We continued it till the second period. In the third period, Mingmar sir came in. He informed us about food poisoning. It was an interesting class. Later on, in the English class Miss Samyo came in. We had a very fun day. I enjoyed a lot.
Overall, my first day at school was an amazing experience.
On January 28, we, the students of grade 8, 9 and 10 went on a visit to Narayanhiti Durbar Palace. We, the students of grade 9 were especially happy because it was the first time we were visiting Narayanhiti
Palace.
We were all happy and excited about the visit. We headed from school to the palace at 10:30 am. The students of grade 8 and 9 were on a bus and the other half of grade 9 were on the other bus. We were at our destination within 15 minutes. We went inside with our teachers and friends. When we entered the garden of Narayanhiti, we were so amazed by that view. The view of the bullets of the guns was breathtaking. There were 7 bullet-marks at the backyard of the palace. As we entered the palace I saw a real skinny fur of a bear which had a head on it. It was laid on the floor of the conference room. The palace was looking like a royal home.
It was actually a great place to visit. We got a great opportunity to see all of the rooms that were distinguished by the names of districts, the conference room, a makeup room, bedrooms, a tika room, and birthday celebrating rooms. We also saw the place where the king, the queen, the princes, and the princesses died or were killed.
Visiting the palace was a really fun experience. The visit was ended by a group photo in front of the Narayanhiti Palace Museum. It was a very memorable day of my life. I enjoyed learning about the history of my country.
Students of grade 8, 9, 10 of Deerwalk Sifal School visited Narayanhiti Palace. We departed from school at around 11 am, and we reached our destination at around 11:30 AM. We all were very thrilled and eager. We clicked a group photo and headed into the palace. The whole palace was very royal.
As we entered we saw an enormous door. The palace was the center of state occasions and royal hospitality. The current Narayanhiti Durbar was built by King Mahendra in 1963. The palace stands on the floor space of 3,794-metre square (40838.28 sq ft) and is divided into three parts, the guest wing the state wing and the private wing. Narayanhiti Palace has 52 rooms called Sadan, which are named after 75 districts of Nepal. Interior of the Palace is based on late Victorian style. As soon as we entered through the doorway, we saw Reception Hall, which is named after Kaski District as Kaski Saden. The hall is decorated with two full-size taxidermy Bengal tigers in charging posture hunted by King Mahendra and King Birendra along with life-size portraits of the Shah Monarchs throughout the stairs by artist Amar Chitrakar. Gaurishankar Gate opens to Kaski Sadan, where Shah monarchs of Nepal gave audience to politicians and perform oath ceremony of Prime Minister and heads of constitutional bodies for the kingdom of Nepal. It was in Narayanhiti Palace, where the scene of the 2001 Nepalese Royal Massacre took place. The whole palace was very huge and there were several caretakers of the palace. The security was very high.
After the 2000 revolution toppled the monarchy, the newly elected assembly declared Nepal as a republic country and King Gyanendra was forced to vacate the palace within 15 days. The royal palace is now turned into a public museum. The crown jewels are considered to be among the most precious and valuable objects in Nepal.
Students of grade VIII, IX, and X of Deerwalk Sifal School visited Narayanhiti Palace. We departed from school at around 11 and got there at 11:15.
As we entered we saw a beautiful hall, it was like a living room. There was a cool bear carpet and there were two Bengal tigers which were hunted by King Mahendra and King Birendra. The palace was so cool and the dining table was also very classy. Narayanhiti is located in the capital city of Kathmandu. The palace was center for state occasions and royal hospitality. The palace is complex and it is located in the east side of the Kaiser Mahal next to Thamel and is incorporated in an impressive and vast array of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. The current Narayanhiti Durbar was built by King Mahendra in 1963 A.D.
The owner of Narayanhiti Palace is the government of Nepal. The structure of the palace consists of brick and mortar. The size of the palace is 38 acres or 753 Ropanis. The architect of the palace is Benjamin Polk. Narayanhiti has 53 rooms called Sadan, which are named after 75 districts of Nepal. Interior of the palace is based on late Victorian style. The palace stands on the floor space of 3794m(40838.28 sq.ft). The royal palace is now a public museum. The crown jewels are very precious for Nepal. And it has a very expensive crown and things for Nepal.
Ten-year people's war and nineteen-day people's movement materialized The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. After that, Narayanhiti Royal Palace was turned into Narayanhiti Palace Museum.
Narayanhiti palace is named by combining both Narayan and Hiti. ‘Narayan' means Lord Vishnu and ‘Hiti’ means the water fountain which is next to the Vishe temple. I searched for this information a day before we went to the Narayanhiti Palace Museum. I was very excited to go there. I was thinking about it. And then I felt sleepy and I slept.
Today we started our journey at 10:30 from school and we were there at 11:10. I was so excited to get in. When I saw the door I was so excited to get in.
The present structure of the palace was designed by a foreign architect. The construction began in 1963 and was complete in 1969. When I got in, I saw a big hall, Gaurishankar Gate. The main entrance to the palace is called Gaurishankar Gate. After entering through this gate, I reached the Kaski Hall. Kaski Hall was used for receiving the visiting Heads of the states. And after that, I went to Myagdi. Myagdi was the room served as Tearoom for the Prime Minister, Chief of Justice and the ambassadors. Parbat was the next place I went to. This was the room where visiting Heads of the states and other dignitaries used to sign visitors. Mugu was the next room where king Tribhuvan used to collect something. It was really old and I didn't get what was that. Lamjung was at the left side of Mugu, it was the Banquet Hall. Gelmi was the Private office of Kings. Dhading was the room where the king would take rest. I wish I could make something like this on my own. Dhankuta was the bedroom of king and queen. I was so lucky that I got a chance to enter that room. There was a big hall. It is known as Tribhuvan Sadh, where the bullets were fired. The garden area had rare varieties of plants and a mass of beautiful flowers and rounded house.
I liked all those things in the palace. I told my family all the things that I saw in the Palace.
