खेलकुदले मानिसलाई स्वस्थ रहन सहयोग गर्छ। खेल व्यक्तिको जीवनमा महत्त्पूर्ण हुन्छ । खेल भनेको शारीरिक र मानसिक विकास पनि हो । खेलले मानिसलाई तन्दुरुस्त पनि बनाउँछ। मानवजीवनमा खेलकुदको ज्यादै ठूलो महत्त्व रहेको छ । खेलबाट हाम्राे शरीर र मन दुवै स्वस्थ रहन्छन् । अझ शारीरिक तन्दुरुस्तीका साथै निरोगी पनि बन्न सहयोग गर्छ। नियमित रूपमा खेलकुदमा सहभागी हुने व्यक्ति ज्यादै फुर्तिलो हुन्छ । त्यसैले समय मिलाएर खेलकुदमा सहभागी हुनु अति जरुरी छ। खेलमा एकाग्रता, अनुशासन र स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा हुनुपर्दछ। खेलले नै एक अर्कामा सहोयोगीको भावना बढ्न सक्दछ । अनि एकअर्कामा आत्मीयता पनि बढ्न जान्छ । तर अहिले कुनै कुनै खेलमा स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा नभई अस्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा पनि भइरहेको पाइन्छ। जसरी भए पनि खेल जित्नै पर्ने भन्ने नचाहिदो होडबाजी र दुर्भावनाको विकासले गर्दा खेलमा नराम्रो अस्वस्थको सिर्जना भएको हो। खेल हुनुभन्दा अघि नै हारजित निश्चित गर्नु, छलकपट हुनु, खेलाडीहरुलाई धम्की दिनु र तिनलाई खरिद गर्न खोज्नु आदिजस्ता खराब प्रवृत्तिका कारण सिङ्गो खेलजगत नै विवादमा फस्न पुगेको हुन्छ ।
खेलकुदबाट मानिसलाई धेरै फाइदा हुन्छ । खेलकुदमा अनुशासन अपरिहार्य हुन्छ र यसले मानिसलाई अनुशासित जीवन बिताउन मद्दत गर्छ । यसबाट मानिसमा समूहमा मिलेर कम गर्ने बानीको विकास हुन्छ । खेलबाट शारीरिक व्यायाम हुने भएकाले शरीरमा काम गर्ने शक्तिको पनि विकास हुन्छ। खेलकुदकै कारण व्यक्तिको मानसिक र बौद्धिक विकास हुने कुरा निश्चित नै छ ।
Our childhood would not have been complete without the games we played in our childhood. It was the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle of our moral development. In my perspective, childhood games are those outdoor games in which children laugh and play without being confined to specific rules as rules were made on the spot. The games such as hide and seek, duck, goose, bulldogs, etc. were the games that we used to play no matter what. Skipping launch was the best thing we did to play more.
It is true when people say education shapes children’s life but childhood games provide the finishing touch to their lives. To be honest, it was from the childhood games I learnt the meaning of team, sportsmanship, importance of physical exercises and overall the meaning of friendship. When the clock would strike 3, my heart would pump with excitement and I would rush towards the empty space carefree and full of energy to play such games.
The best thing was, when I was little, I would play with a lot of toys and make games out of them. I would have friends come over and over again. Wea made games that everyone liked to play so we always were doing something. We made our imaginations come to life everytime we would play something.
I made a game that made us interactive just with little toys and we would all have fun. We would sometimes take a break from little toys and just watch TV. We had the best thing a child could have. All of us had imagination to use all the time so we knew what we were going to do.
The toys that we played with felt like plastic most of the time sometimes squishy toys. We could smell people cooking when we were outside. I always had the best time outside. I think everyone had a good time when we went outside and even just stayed inside. We were the best of friends using the best toys and making the best games.
We all made the imagination more by explaining what was around us like the smell and the feel. The grass would be pokey. We all played a lot of different games involving feeling and smelling and seeing. We would see a lot of different types of clouds and make shapes out of them.
Childrens now have changed. They are not playing such games anymore. They are submerged in mobile phones so much that they will forget what outdoor is. The games which helped us to prosper in our life are slowly fading away. It is the duty of us to protect such games.

काठमाडौँलगायत ललितपुर,भक्तपुर,धुलिखेल, दाेलखा लगायतका स्थानमा वर्षा र सहकालका देवता इन्द्रको पूजा-आराधना गरी परम्परागत रूपमा नेवारहरूले मनाउने जात्रा हो। यसलाई नेवारीमा येँया पुन्हि पनि भनिन्छ। इन्द्रजात्रा काठमाडौँमा मनाइने विविध जात्रामध्येको एउटा रमाइलो र महत्त्वपूर्ण जात्रा हो। इन्द्रजात्राको प्रमुख कार्य नै लिङ्गो (ध्वजा) स्थापना हो । १२औँदेखि १८औँ शताब्दीमा निर्मित थुप्रै मठ मन्दिरले सजिएको हनुमानढोका दरबार क्षेत्र यो जात्राको उद्गम स्थल हो । भाद्र शुक्लपक्ष यँलाथ्व द्वादशीका दिन इन्द्रध्वजोत्थानबाट सुरू भई यँलागाः चौथी अर्थात् इन्द्रध्वज पतनसम्म आठ दिन विभिन्न नाच, गान, रथयात्रा गरी यो जात्रा सम्पन्न गरिन्छ। सनातन धर्मावलम्बीहरूका प्रमुख र प्रचलित चाड दशैँ तिहार र फागुभन्दा पनि इन्द्रजात्रालाई संस्कृतिविदहरूले पुरानो चाड मानेका छन्। इन्द्रजात्रा र लिंगो -ध्वजा) ठड्याउने प्रचलनको सम्बन्धमा वाल्मीकि रामायण, महाभारत, हरिवंश पुराण, कालिका पुराण, देवीपुराण, विष्णु धर्मोत्तर पुराण, बृहत्संहिता र भविष्य पुराणमा विस्तृत वर्णन पाइन्छ।
भाद्र शुक्ल द्वादशीका दिन हनुमानढोका अगाडि धार्मिक विधिपूर्वक इन्द्रध्वजासहितको लिङ्गो ठडयाइएपछि प्रारम्भ हुने यो जात्रा विभिन्न प्रकारका नाचगान रथयात्रा र देवी देवताको पूजाआजा गरी आठ दिनसम्म मनाइन्छ । तान्त्रिक विधिद्वारा पूजा गरी काभ्रेपलाञ्चाेक जिल्लाकाे उग्रचण्डी नालास्थित जङ्गलमा छोडिएको बोकाले छोएको रुख काटी एकादशीका दिन विधिपूर्वक इन्द्रध्वजाको लिङ्गो तयार पार्ने गरिन्छ। हनुमानढोका दरवारमा कालभैरवको विशाल मूर्ति अगाडि धार्मिक विधिअनुसार उक्त लिङ्गाे ठड्याएपछि इन्द्रजात्राको चहलपहल सुरू हुन्छ। यसरी ठडयाइएको लिङ्गोलाई 'इन्द्रध्वजोत्थान' पनि भनिन्छ। नेपाल भाषामा 'योसीं' भनिने उक्त लिङ्गोमा मङ्गल सूचकका विभिन्न चिह्न अङ्कित पताका झुन्ड्याएको हुन्छ। उक्त लिङ्गो ठड्याएपछि फेँदमा हात्ती चढेको सुनको जलप लगाइएको इन्द्रको प्रतिमा राखेर पूजा गरिन्छ र लिङ्गो ठड्याउँदा नेपाली सेनाको ब्यान्ड, गुरुजुको पल्टन र पञ्चेबाजा समूहले मङ्गल धुन बजाउँछन । इन्द्रजात्रामा इन्द्रध्वजा उत्थान गर्ने परम्परा राजा प्रतापसिंह साहले चलाएको यतिहासमा उल्लेख छ। यस अवसरमा हनुमानढोका दरवारक्षेत्रमा रहेको श्वेतभैरवकाे विशाल सरभमुख सर्वसाधारणलाई दर्शन र पूजाका लागि खुला गरिन्छ।

यहाँ दलाल चाहिए कर्मचारी छन्,
झुटको ठुलो पहाड बनाउने पत्रकार छन्,

घर अगाडिको सडक धुलो र धुवाले लिपिएको छ,
देशका युवाहरूको बिमानस्थलमा ताँती छ,

We people hesitate to ask for the things we want to and the things we want to do, don’t we? Why do we hesitate to tell the things which we love to do in front of others, just in fear that they will judge us? We people always see the negative things which bring us stress rather than the positive things which bring us good vibes. If you like to do something then do it because if you don’t do it and live for others' sake you will regret it. Do the things you love and live your life.
The common problem seen in not only teenagers but adults too, is also hesitation to say about the things they love. There are many people who are regretting their choices and decisions. Like example, if there is a person who likes doing art like paintings, drawing and many more and wants to become an artist but they are pressured from their family to become a doctor or an engineer forcing them to undertake a subject which they detest and will not excel at. It most definitely won’t be easy for them to cover up science and put interest in it than arts in which he had a lot of interest and talents. If they make a decision to become an artist then, it would be very good for them because they are following their heart and are willing to do anything to become an artist rather than a doctor or engineer. In this example, you can see the huge difference in the things you love to do and you don’t love to do.
We all need to own up to our choices. We need to work and do the things we love rather than forcing ourselves to do the things we don’t love. Don’t make your decisions based on “what will people say”, do what is right for YOU and if not, fight for IT. Do the things you love and live your life after all you only live once.

Before the world's fastest commercial supersonic airliner was invented, the market was filled with subsonic airliners. Subsonic meaning that the planes would fly on the edge of the sound barrier (speed of sound) precisely 0.8 machs.
Our story takes place in 1958. An age of aviation where the american airspace was dominated by big dogs like McDouglas and Boeing. Boeing’s own subsonic plane the 707 and McDouglas’s DC-8 were pushing limits of speed while delivering reasonable range and efficiency. When American Airlines reached out to manufacturers to build a faster plane the leaders in the market declined. This was when one of the underdogs of the market Convair stepped up and agreed to build a faster plane for American Airlines. Convair decided on building 25 jetliners for American airlines with the speed of 1022km/H and even backed it up with a speed guarantee. Meaning that they would have to pay millions of dollars in penalty if the planes failed to deliver the promised speed.
Convair had a number of successes with propeller driven airliners and military aircrafts. But with the introduction of jetliners, the market as mentioned before was taken by newer airline manufacturers. Convair had their own jetliner named the Convair 880. Having no shot at the market of bigger and long range aircrafts, Convair had to compete in the market of small but fast airliners. This being the reason why they overtook such a difficult challenge. So to deliver their promise Convair worked on a new design based on their Convair 880 jetliner called the 990. Everything from the engine to the wings were changed to achieve the goal they had set. They added more fuselage to increase their range and on paper it looked as though convair had achieved their goal. Only on paper for now. When the first 990 took to the skies for testing, Convair found out that their plane couldn’t meet the speed requirement due to various aerodynamic problems. Turbulence near the engines, drag on the wing and other issues had kept Convair from reaching 1022km/H.
By 1961 American Airlines were in desperate need of the jets so they changed their order into 15 normal jets and 5 990s. They gave Convair more time to sort out their issues while Convair reduced their speed guarantee from 1022km/H to 958km/H. Eventually Convair worked out their issues and were able to deliver a plane reaching the new speed guarantee. But by the time their 990 took to the skies their plane was deemed very impractical. It basically decreased the plane's range and efficiency for a few extra kms of speed. Having no demands for such a plane in the market Convair stopped the production of the plane. They lost over half a billion dollars in total due to the development costs for the plane.
समाज भनेको परिवार परिवार मिलेर बनेकाे ठुलो समूह हो । समाजमा अनेक घटना तथा क्रियाकलापहरू हुन्छन् । यही समाजमा मानिसले एक अर्कालाई सु:ख दु:खमा साथ पनि दिन्छन् । मानिसका क्रियाकलाप समाजसँग सम्बन्धित हुन्छन् । समाजमा अपाच्य तथा समाज विराेधी क्रियाकलापले समाजमा समस्या निम्त्याउँछ । मानिस सामाजिक प्राणी भएकाले समाजसँगै बाँधिएकाे हुन्छ ।
कतिपय अवस्थामा आफूलाई गर्न मन लागेका कुरा पनि समाजकै डरले गर्न सकिँदैन । । यो कुरा सायदै गलत हो । हामी आफ्नो लागि जिउने हो कि समाजको लागि ? समाजले के सोच्छ भनेर केही नगर्ने होइन ;आफूलाई जे मन पर्छ त्यो गर्ने पनि होइन । आफ्नाे र समाजकाे हित हुने काम दुवैका लागि फाइजनक हुन्छ । कतिबेला त समाज व्यक्तिकाे विकासकाे बाधक पनि हुन सक्छ । यस्ताे अवस्था भनेकाे समाज व्यक्तिकाे लागि पिँजडा जस्तै हुनु हाे । पिँजडाभित्र जे गर्न सकिन्छ त्यही मात्र गर्न पाइने ।
२१ साैँ शताब्दीमा आइपुग्दा पनि हाम्राे समाजले पुरुष र महिलालाई हेर्ने दृष्टिकाेणमा फरक छ । कोही केटी केटासँग बोलिरहेको र हिँडिरहेको देख्यो भने समाजले हेर्ने दृष्टिकोण नै फरक हुन्छ । त्यो किन त ? समाजले केटालाईभन्दा केटीलाई फरक दृष्टिले किन हेर्छ ? कोही केटी कुनै काम विशेषले घर ढिला आई भने पनि समाजले अनेकन कुरा काट्न थाल्छ । याे प्रवृत्ति सहरी परिवेशमाभन्दा ग्रामीण परिवेशमा अझ बढी छ ।
म साेच्छु हामी समाजकाे लागि बाँच्ने कि आफ्नाे लागि ? समाजमा भएका सबै कुरा राम्रा नै छन् भन्ने पनि छैन । आफ्नो असल विचार र असल कार्यकाे लागि आफ्नो काममा समाजले के भन्छ भनेर पछाडि पर्नु पनि हुँदैन । कतिपय अवस्थामा समाजलाई नै परिवर्तन पनि गर्न सक्नुपर्छ । मानिस भगवान् पनि हाेइन । राम्रा र नराम्रा काम पनि मानिसबाट नै हुन्छन् । अनजानवश गरिएका नराम्रा कामलाई सुधार्ने माैका पनि दिनुपर्छ ।

गौरी काव्य पढेपछि मेरा आँखा रसाए । कविले विभिन्न विलाप गर्दै बाच्छासँग गाईलाई अलग गर्दा कस्तो पीडा हुन्छ भनेका छन् । मैले बाचुञ्जेल केही अफ्ठ्यारो छ कि भनेर पनि तिमीलाई सोधिन भन्दै विलाप गरेका छन् । गौरी काव्य पढ्दै जाँदा नेपाली साहित्यमा लेखिएका सबैभन्दा सुन्दर र लयबद्ध काव्य यो जस्ता अरू कुनै छन् जस्तो लाग्दैन । यस काव्यमा पीडा र दु:खहरू पोखिएका छन्। यस काव्यका सबै श्लोक लयबद्ध र सुन्दर छन् । यो काव्यको पहिलो सर्गमा "के लेख्नु मैले पर्यो" मा कविले आफ्नो आँशुमा चिप्लिएको कलमले लेखेका छन् । अचानक आफ्नी पत्नीको निधन भएपछि आफ्नो होस गुमे जस्तो भएर आफूले आफैँलाई सम्हाल्न नसकेको, संसारै अँधेरो भएको र दिउँसो रात परेर तारा देखे जस्तो भएको कुरा काव्यमा लेखेका छन्।
गौरीले यो भौतिक संसार छोडेपछि कुन ठाउँमा छिन् ? कस्तो ठाउँ छ ? उनले त्यहाँ पनि शान्ति र सन्तोष पाएकी छन् कि छैनन् ? कवि यी कुराहरूले चिन्तित छन् । उनले आफ्नी पत्नीलाई कुनै लीलाले कहिलेकाहीँ भुइँमा ओर्लेर आफूसँग भेट्न आउन अनुरोध गरेका छन् । यस काव्यमा रहेका हरेक श्लोकले धेरै गहिरो कुरा सिकाएका छन् । यो एक हृदय छुने कविता हो । यहाँ भावना र पीडा भरिएको छ। मलाई यो काव्य निकै मन प-यो।
A family is a group in which individuals of different genders and ages either related by blood, marriage, adoption live in a friendly or cordially and in an organized way. Family members get love, affection, security, and support through a family. It is believed that the concept of the family started in the human developmental stage of the stone age. S/he grows up and lives in a family. So s/he needs help and compassion for members of the family. Families are of two types. They are a nuclear family and a joint family. The nuclear family consists mostly of only 3 to 4 family members like father, mother, and child. Whereas in a joint family there are many family members living together in the same house as a grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, uncle, aunt, brother, sister and the child, etc. A small sized joint family is considered to be a suitable family. We all hold a common aim of making our own family happy and prosperous. Whether it is a Nuclear family or a joint family, a family is needed by all. The importance of family is below:

A family circle of strength and love with every birth and union it grows, every crisis face together makes the circle stronger. Family is extremely necessary and important for every individual. Human life cannot be imagined without a family.
