Wild rabbits often live in a large group. They live in burrows with tunnels linked under the ground, called warrens. There are usually lots of young rabbits in a warren to keep safe and warm. Each doe can give birth to upto seven litters with four or five young rabbits in each litter. Therefore, it is important to keep the warren safe to keep the rabbits away from danger.
