Hi I am Eva and today I will be writing about meeting my cousins for the first time ever. Meeting them was not a plan. One of my thulobuwa from America expired when he came to visit Nepal. So after that happened his sons, and some of his relatives came to Nepal for his funeral. So this is the time I met them.
I thought I was the only daughter in this whole family and I had only 9 cousins including my sibling Evan. But I was so wrong. I have 13 cousins, a brother and a big sister.
I was at my mamaghar. My father came there to take me back to my home where I met one of my cousin brothers and a cousin sister for the first time ever. My sister's name is Sandra whereas my brother's name is Biraj. They both are from London. We had a lot of fun together. I still can't believe I have a cousin sister. I am so happy. My brother was very fun too. Then the next day they went to their mamaghar. The same day in the afternoon after my school they came to Sifal . My cousin's brother was also there. He was also very fun. I enjoyed spending time with them. The following day my two cousins Rishab , Ritesh came from America and Roshi and Bibe came from Canada. My father did not take me to Pashupatinath to attend the funeral process as I was too small to attend.
After the funeral process we went to Bhandarashowr Mandir together because in our tradition the wife and the sons of the person who died has to stay at the mandir wearing white clothes for 13 days and they can't eat any salt, we are not allowed to touch them. They conducted lots of rituals for thirteen days. On the 12th day we could touch them. My cousins Rishab and Ritesh were very sad as they had lost their loving father so we played some games to make them feel better.
Sandra didi and I were in a team and we played cards and that was the time I talked of my other cousins. They were the sons of my big father. They were wearing white dresses from head to toe. Their mom, my big mother, was teasing me by pulling my hair. It was fun spending more time with them. Not joking, these will be one of the days that I will remember my whole life. They let me win the games. I know they let me win because I was small but I don’t mind it. That night I had a sleepover with sister Sandra. We had so much fun. I wished that night would never end, which is not possible.
The next day was the final and the 13th day. We went to Bhandarashowr Mandir and there was some puja. On the way we met lots of street dogs which made us scared..
After putting on the tika and having Prasad we gossiped a lot. This day too I will never forget. The dog came inside the hall and I climbed on the chair. Sandra didi look very scared. I bet if the dog had licked her she would jump and scream. I cannot even explain in words how much fun I had. Then when we went back home it was time they would go to their mamaghar. This was my second last time I would meet them before they go back to their countries. When all of them went to their mamaghar it was so sad. I am counting the days when they will come again. I miss them a lot. I like all of them equally. So this is my story about meeting my cousins for the first time which I will never ever forget.
एउटा घरमा बुबा, आमा, छाेरी र छाेरा थिए । उनीहरूका बुबा आमा सरकारी कार्यालयमा काम गर्दथे । आमा कार्यालयमा काम गर्ने र घरकाे पनि सबै काम एक्लै गर्दथिन् । बिहान सबैरै उठेर उनी घर सफादेखि पुजापाठ, चिया नास्ता र खाना तयार गरी छाेराछाेरीलाई विद्यालय पठाउँथिन् र आफू पनि श्रीमानसँगै कार्यालय जान्थिन् । श्रीमान बिहानै उठ्ने गर्दथे तर बिहानकाे व्यायाम र पत्रपत्रिका हेर्दैमा उनकाे कार्यालय समय हुन्थ्याे । श्रीमतिले सबै काम समयमा नै गरिरहेकी हुन्थिन् र केही काममा भने छाेरीले पनि सघाउँथिन् । यसरी समयमा नै सबै काम भइरहेकाे हुँदा त्यहाँ कुनै समस्या भाेग्नु परेकाे थिएन । बुवा आमा पनि कार्यालय जाने र छाेरा छाेरी पनि विद्यालय समयमा नै जाने आउने गर्दथे ।
दिन यसरी नै बित्दै थियाे । एक दिन आमा धेरै बिमारी भइन् । उनी आछ्यान नै परिन् । उठेर काम त के उनी पानी सारेर पिउनसम्म पनि नसक्ने भइन् । उनी आछ्यान परेपछि त्यहाँ साह्रै नै गाह्राे भयाे । छाेरीले केही काम सकी नसकी गर्न थालिन् तर उनलाई भाइ र बुबाले भने सघाउन आएनन् । जसले गर्दा छाेरीकाे पढाइ कमजाेर हुन थाल्याे । छाेरीले मात्र सबै काम गर्न नसक्दा बुबा पनि समयमा कार्यालय जान सकेनन् । छाेराछाेरी पनि समयमा विद्यालय जानका लागि तयार हुन नै समस्या भयाे । त्याे घरमा न त समयमा खाना पाक्दथ्याे, न त कपडा नै सफा हुन्थे । घर उस्तै फाेहाेर भयाे, छाेरा छाेरीले गृहकार्य समेत नगरी विद्यालय जान थालेपछि उनीहरूले पनि विद्यालयमा गाली खान थाले ।
समय बित्तै गयाे आमा बिमारी भएकाे पनि झण्डै १५ दिन भइसकेकाे थियाे । बुबा पनि समयमा कार्यालय पुग्नुहुन्नथ्याे । छाेरा छाेरीकाे पनि विद्यालयकाे गाडी दिनहुँ छुट्ने गर्दथ्याे । यी सबै कुरा आमाले हेरिरहेकी थिइन् तर उनलाई सबै कुरा गर्न उनकाे राेगले दिइरहेकाे थिएन । दिनहुँ घरमा समस्या भएपछि बुबा पनि छाेराछाेरीसँग रिसाउन थाले । श्रीमतीसँग नि रिसाउँन थाले । घरमा दिनहुँजस्ताे कलह हुन थाल्याे । छिमेकमा यस्ताे देखेर छिमेकीहरू पनि छक्क परे । कहिल्यै ठुलाे स्वरसम्म नगर्ने मान्छेहरूकाे घरमा कुटपिट हुँन थालेपछि नजिकैका छिमेकीहरू आए र साेधे कि यँहा के भइरहेकाे छ ? धरै दिनदेखि यस घरकी आमा पनि बाहिर निस्केकाे देखिएकाे छैन । छिमेकीकाे कुरा सुनेपछि छाेरीले रूँदै भनिन्, आमा त बिमारी भएकाे दुइ हप्ता भइसक्याे । आमा बिमारी भएदेखि हामीले समयमा खान पनि पाएका छैनाै, विद्यालय नि छुटिरहेकाे छ । म एक्लैले घरकाे काम गरीरहेकी छु तर सकिरहेकी छैन । यस्ताे कुरा सुनेपछि छिमेकीले बुबालाई बाेलाए र सम्झाउँदै भने,” हेर याे सबै तिमीहरू सबैकाे कारणले गर्दा भएकाे हाे । याे समस्या आमा बिमारी भएर भन्दा पनि तिमीहरू सबै जना मिलेर घरकाे काम नगरेकाले भएकाे हाे । पहिलेदेखि नै घरकाे काममा आमालाई सहयाेग गरेकाे भए, छाेरा छाेरी दुवै आफूले सकेकाे आफ्नाे काम आफै गर्न सिकेकाे भए, बुबाले पनि घरायसी काममा आमालाई सहयाेग गरेका भए अहिले आमा नि यसरी बिमारी पर्ने थिइनन् र बिमारी भएकाे बेलामा पनि सबैले आफ्नाे आफ्नाे काम गर्न सकिन्थ्याे । त्यसाे गर्दा न त समस्या हुन्थ्याे न त गुनासाे नै । हेर, हामी सबैले आफ्नाे जीवनमा सकेकाे काम गर्ने बानी बसाउँनुपर्छ । घरकाे काममा सबैले सहयाेग गर्याे भने एक जनालाई मात्र गाह्राे हुन्न र यस्ताे समस्या परेकेा बेलामा सबैलाई सजिलाे हुन्छ तर हामी घरकाे काम महिलाले वा भनाैँ आमाहरूले मात्र गर्ने हाे भन्छाैैँ र केही गर्दैनाै । जुन दिन घरकी महिला यसरी बिमारी हुन्छिन् वा घरबाट टाढा हुन्छिन् अनि सबैकाे जीवन अफ्ठ्याराेमा पर्छ ।”
छिमेकीका यस्ता कुरा सुनेर बुबाकाे आँखा खुल्याे र छाेरा छाेरी र श्रीमतिसँग माफी मागे । छिमेकीलाई पनि त्यस्ताे ज्ञान दिएकाेमा धन्यवाद दिए । बिमारी भएकी श्रीमतीकाे नजिकमा गएर आफूले जीवनमा ठूलाे गल्ती गरेकाे र पछुताे लागेकाे कुरा भन्दै अबदेखि हरेक काममा उनलाई सघाउने र छाेराछाेरी दुबैलाई आफ्नाे काम आफैँ गर्न सिकाउने वाचा गरे । त्याे देखेर श्रीमतीका आखाँ आँसुले भरिए । आमाले मनमनै छिमेकीलाई धन्यवाद दिँदै बिस्तारामा काेल्टे फर्किइन् र आफू बिमारी भएर थलिँदा सबैकाे आँखा खुलाईदिएकाेमा छिमेकीप्रति धन्य भइन् ।

It is also said that the Zodiac signs help in figuring out the personalities of people. Each month has its own zodiac signs. The study of zodiac signs is called astrology. Astrology teaches us how to determine the zodiac signs, predict the future, and understand people's personalities, among other things.
As there are 12 months in a year, there are also 12 Zodiac signs. They are Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. Capricorn is said to be the sign of those born between December 21 and January 19. January 20-February 17 is Aquarius, February 18-March 19 is Pisces, March 20-April 19 is Aries, April 20-May 20 is Taurus, May 21-June 20 is Gemini, June 21-July 21 is Cancer, July 22-August 22 is Leo, August 23-September 22 is Virgo, September 23-October 22 is Libra, October 23-November 21 is Scorpio, and November 22-January 19 is Sagittarius.
Each zodiac sign has its own speciality, which we all should respect. No one shall be treated unfairly because of their zodiac sign.
Many zodiac signs are harmed and disrespected due to some rumours which should be avoided. It is said that these Zodiac signs do not do many things, or that these are fake things. But some still believe it. What do you think about the Zodiac signs?

People who recognize from the lgbtq+ community is celebrated in the pride month. The pride month starts June 1 and ends on June 30 or known as celebrated on the month June. lgbtq+ is the term used to describe a person’s sexuality. Like so, The ‘L ‘in lgbtq+ stands for lesbian. It means a woman who has romantic feelings for another woman. or the ‘G’ is for Gay, which means A guy who has romantic feelings for another guy. There is also bisexual, which means a person attracted to both genders.
And there's many more, there is also aromantic or asexual people. Aromantic means someone with no romantic attraction to others. Asexual means someone with no intimate attraction. You can also do both , which is called Aroace. There is transgender too. It means if their gender identity does not correspond with their gender assigned a birth. ‘Q’ in LGBTQ+ is queer. This definition can be used as a gender identity on its own or an umbrella term. And there’s many more, like pansexual, intersex, non-binary, genderfliud, two-spirit, etc.
The Pride month is celebrated to recognize the impact LGBTQ+ people have had in the world. Also to let them know they are seen. This represents civil rights about the LGBTQ+ community.
There are even flags for every sexuality. Most people think one gender is supposed to be attracted to the opposite gender. But it’s not true. It can be different.
“शिव” हिन्दु धर्मका एक महत्त्वपूर्ण देवता हुन् । शिव ब्रह्मा र विष्णुसँग हिन्दु धर्मको पवित्र त्रिमुर्तिको सदस्य मानिन्छन्। उनी समयसँग सम्बन्धित छन्। उनी विशेष गरी विनाशकर्ता र सृष्टिकर्ता हुन् ।
हिन्दु धर्ममा ब्रह्माण्ड चक्रमा(प्रत्येक २,१६०,०००,००० वर्ष) पुनः उत्पन्न हुन्छ भन्ने विश्वास गरिन्छ । शिवले प्रत्येक चक्रको अन्त्यमा ब्रह्माण्डलाई विनाश गर्नुहुन्छ । शिव एक महान् तपस्वी हुन् । उनी संसारको सबै सुख आनन्द छोडेर तपस्यामा लिन हुन्छन् । उनको अध्याँरो रूप पनि छ । शिव हिन्दु धर्मका सबैभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण देवता हुन । योगीहरू र सारा सृष्टिकाे संरक्षक, र वेदहरू, पवित्र ग्रन्थहरूको संरक्षक हुन्।
शिवकी पत्नी पार्वती हुन् । उनी पहिले दक्षकी छोरी सती थिइन् । दक्षले शिव र सतीको विवाहलाई स्वीकार गरेनन् र उनी सधैँ शिवलाई घृणा गरिरहन्थे । आफ्ना पतिलाई तथानाम गाली गर्दा सतीदेवीलाई असह्य हुन्थ्याे । एकपटक दक्षले गरेकाे यज्ञमा सतीकाे अगाडि आफ्नै बाबुले महादेवलाई धरै निन्दा गरे । याे सहन नसकी सतीले यज्ञकुण्डमा हाम फालेर प्राणत्याग गरिन् । याे सहन नसकी महादेवले अन्य लडाकुकाे सृष्टि गरे । अरू देवताहरूले शिवलाई अत्यन्त हिंसा गरे । भने र उनले दक्षको शिर काटी बाेकाकाे शिरसँग जाेडिदिए । सती आफ्नो पुर्नजन्ममा पार्वतीको रुपमा शिवसँग विवाह गरिन् ।
शिवले आफ्नो टाउकोमा गङ्गा नदी राखेका छन् । उनको टाउकोमा आधा चन्द्रमा पनि छ । शिवले आफ्नो घाँटीमा सर्प राखेका छन्। त्यो सर्पले निडर र शक्तिको निसानी गर्छ । उनको सबैभन्दा शक्ति भएको उनको तेस्रो आँखा हो। त्यो आँखाले नकारात्मक ऊर्जालाई पहिचान गर्छ । यो आँखा ज्ञानको पनि प्रतीक हाे ।
We are all aware of how bad our society is. Discrimination exists in every community in one form or another. My country of Nepal is extremely discriminatory. Rural residents are uneducated but even the literate communities practice discrimination. I believe Nepalese people are frequently attempting to abolish harmful activities. Is it truly possible that they will continue to engage in these bad habits for a long time? I simply believe that, at some point, we will put an end to these practices.
We will halt it since the next generation has already begun, but racism still exists. Even in the developed world, such as the United States of America. Racism is defined as the practice of criticizing people based on their skin color. No one is better than the other. No one has the authority to judge us based on our appearance. It is completely incorrect, especially in terms of our skin color, and it has the potential to change lives. Even though the world has progressed significantly. Racism can be found almost anywhere. Racism, I believe, will be abolished later because it is still practiced in even the most developed countries.
Girls and boys are also discriminated against. We can't do that because it's bad practice. We can't discriminate against people based on their gender. People also discriminate against girls and boys. We cannot do that as it is totally wrong, sexism exists everywhere, and this shows how our country is so discriminative. I think that we must try to abolish sexism, but I don’t think that we are going to try. We must understand there’s no way round to make our country develop without getting rid of our sexist mentality.
The last one I am writing about is caste discrimination. We all know how many castes there in our country are that apparently have created a big problem called caste discrimination. People believe that if you belong to a so-called higher caste community, the so-called lower caste cannot touch them or be around them, this is a disgusting practice in our society. We are not the ones who choose where we are born and all of us are equal. Also, casteism is the outcome of our discriminative mindset. I think this discriminative culture will soon end and all of us will be living equally.

Every citizen has the right to live his/her life according to their wishes without any discrimination. Gender equality basically means equality for both men and women in every aspect of life: politically, economically, in health, education, etc. Gender equality is one of the serious issues in our current modern society. It refers to equality of responsibilities, rights, and opportunities for females and males. According to the world, women, as well as girls, still fall behind men and boys in every aspect. It is essential to maintain gender equality for global development as well. Till now, women are still incapable of contributing effectively, and in fact, they do not recognize their complete potential, for example, not taking part in sports, elections, etc. Although our spiritual beliefs consider a female as a goddess, we fail to identify her as a human first. Offering gender equality in the areas of health services, education, and jobs will ultimately benefit the country economically. Perception is changing slowly but steadily. People are now becoming more aware of their rights and what they can do in a free society. It has been found that when women and men hold the same position and participate equally, society progresses and creates a nation. When a community achieves gender equality, everyone enjoys the same privileges and gets similar opportunities in education, health, occupation, and political aspects. Even in the family, when both male and female members are treated in the same way, it is the best place to grow and learn. A nation needs to treat every gender equally to progress. A society gets better development in all respects when both genders are given similar opportunities. The belief that women only belong in the kitchen has changed. Nowadays, girls are equally competing with boys in school. Women are now seeking economic independence before they get married. It gives them the confidence to stand against oppression and make better decisions for themselves. Now, positive growth can be seen in the area of gender equality. But still, there are some parts of the world in which girls and women continue to suffer from discrimination. A year ago, the performance of India in the Olympics of 2021 is the current example, where India has won seven medals. Out of those seven medals, six came in individual events, and out of those six medals, female athletes won three. It shows that even after facing such hardship, their performance is on par with male athletes. I hope the entire world recognizes the efforts of men and women equally soon in our modern society.
