Discipline is the most important thing in everyone’s life. If there was no discipline, nobody could live happily. Discipline is everything through which we do in the right way and the right time. We all have different discipline in our daily life. People who do not have discipline can get so many problems like not finishing the work on time. We have to follow it all the time in school, home, playground or other places. People who have good discipline never get sad. Without discipline, nobody can be successful in their daily life and also in the future. Undisciplined people always get a low evaluation from others. So, every person should follow discipline every day.
On 24th June, Monday, the students of Grade VIII and IX were taken to canine division for the practical observation. We left the school at 9:40. It was a great pleasure to be there. DSP Ramchandra Satyal was there to guide us.
Dog, a dutiful, obedient guard is forever a human’s best company. We got to see eight different breeds of dogs there. There were- German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Labrador, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, Dutch Shepherd, Blood Hound and Double Coated Shepherd. They said that the Police Dog Service started since 2026 B.S. The dogs with their specific abilities are trained in specific fields.
Those dogs of the Canine Division are believed to be a member of government and a responsible officer. The dogs are used for Public Services, Control and Investigation, Duty Deploy, etc. The dogs are not threatened and taken very good care of by the officers.“When it's too hard to look back and you are too afraid to look ahead, look beside you I will be there.” A heart touching line that was written there.
Overall, it was fun to visit Canine Division. Being one of the dog lovers, I loved to be there. Dogs make me happy.
Diversity is briefly known as a variety of people living in a place. Diversity is all about gender, economic status, religion, culture, etc. Nepal is home to a wide variety of ethnic groups, all speaking their own language and practicing their own rituals. The social, economic, cultural, administrative and political diversities are their way of living are also associated with Nepal’s diversity. So we should respect diversity as it plays an important role in economic status, political sector, social sector, etc.
It includes many cultures, languages, religions, etc. For e.g: In a community, many people live in peace despite having different religions, castes, cultures, and languages. It is also diversity. We should respect everyone, everything in this world. We should not discriminate people and always respect others.
In conclusion, we should always respect people, birds, animals, and all living beings that are present in our life. We should follow the slogan Respect Diversity.

On 1st July, 2019, we went to Police Canine. There were so many breeds of dogs, 84 to be specific. It was the central unit in Nepal. There are many other branches i.e. Dharan, Biratnagar, Hetauda, Pokhara, etc. We learned many things there. Mainly, this institute helps us in crime investigation, finds the illegal import and export of drugs, bombs and other crimes. German Shepherd performed about how they found drugs and the bombs. After the performance by the German Shepherd, the Labrador showed us how they tackled the obstacles. The dog first went to the slide by running, then jumping to the tunnel and lastly to the hoop.
After seeing the performances, we all asked various questions to the police and then returned to the school.
On Friday, our school organized a big program “ Back To School Night”. This program was for the parents. Parents had to come to school, sit in class and attend classes as we do. The program started at 4:55 PM but many parents arrived earlier than the exact time so they were requested to sit for a while. We, the volunteers were holding pamphlets where names of respective classes were written. I was holding the pamphlet of Grade 7. First, the parents had assembly then I took them to their classes. Mr. Nirmal Paudel was already there to take the first class that was Nepali. Likely, the parents had English, then Science and finally Sanskrit Chanakya Niti. I was very happy to see parents learning and concentrating. After they had all the four subjects, I took them downstairs. They drank tea. They were talking to each other. The program went well.

We should respect diversity. Everyone is discriminated according to their gender, race, religion, etc. However, everyone's the same, all religions are the same. We should not discriminate anyone’s norms, values, customs, and traditions, etc. We should not discriminate young ones saying that they can't do anything. All the castes are the same and everyone is equal. There are 125 castes and ethnic groups. If we start to discriminate, all the ethnic groups will get broken down and our country would not be known for being united in diversity. So we should respect everyone.
The stone age is the oldest age. The people used stone tools to hunt animals. They developed stone tools. They wore leaves. They also used to live in caves. They started to cook food by hitting two same sized rocks. They started rear animals, so when they would not get food, they could eat the reared animals. They also started to do agriculture. But, now it is the technology age. It is the modern age, it is the age of using technology. We are developing every single object every day. We were using TV, mobile, laptop, computer, smartphone, etc. We are also discovering many planets.
On 4th June 2019, the school organized social life skill. Mr. Kuldeep Gupta divided us into three groups. In my group, there were four members including me. We had to go to Grade one to teach them about dental hygiene. We taught them about good and bad eating habits. They were very nice to us. They listened to whatever we said very carefully. They answered the questions we asked them at the end. We got this opportunity due to Mr. Gupta. So, I would like to thank him for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
One day our teacher gave us the information that we were going to have an event called,”Back To School Night” program for our parents and some volunteers were selected. My friends told me that only the house captains and CRs were selected. I was really sad because I also wanted to volunteer in the program and have a new experience by guiding people. But I was shocked when I got the list. I was also selected for volunteering. I was very happy and could not express my happiness. We volunteers were called for a meeting about how to guide parents and we were handed over the schedule. I clearly understood my work.
I was really excited. We also got a diary to write our report from the meeting. Finally the day came, “Back To School Night”. We had our regular classes and when our classes ended we went to the canteen to eat snacks and after eating we had a meeting with Kuldeep Sir. He gave us our placard where there were the names of our classes which we were assigned. I was assigned as a volunteer in Grade One Dhaulagiri B. I was feeling very proud that I was selected. Then, we went stood in line as it was time for parents to come in front of the stage. The parents came and stood in line and they had assembly like how we students have. After the assembly was over the parents were guided to their classes by their respective volunteers. The program went smoothly like it was supposed to. At last I brought the parents on the ground and the photo session started.
To sum up, It was really an amazing program. I got a new experience in my life and got to know how to guide people. I was very happy that I got selected.
