मलाई मन पर्ने खेल फुटबल हो । फुटबल सबैभन्दा प्रसिद्ध खेल हो । यस खेलमा ११ जनाको दुई वटा समूह हुन्छ । जुन समूहले अर्को समूहभन्दा धेरै गोल हान्छ त्यो समूहले नै त्यो खेल जित्छ । यस खेलमा खेलाडीहरूका फरक फरक पोजिसनहरू हुन्छन् । जस्तैः मिडफिल्डर, स्ट्राईकर, डिफेन्डर, गोलकिपर, अट्याकर, राईट विन्ग, लेफ्ट विन्ग आदि । यस खेल युरोप, दक्षिण अमेरिका र अफ्रिकामा छ तर यसको प्रभाव उत्तर अमेरिका र एसियामा बढ्डै गएकाे छ । यो खेल २०० देशहरूबाट २५० मिलियन जना मान्छेहरू खेल्छन् । यो खेल चीनबाट सुरु भएको थियो । यस खेलमा वर्ल्ड कप, च्याम्पियन्स लिग, प्रिमियर लिग, आदि जस्ता अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय प्रतियोगिता हुन्छन् । सबैभन्दा पहिलो वर्ल्ड कप १९३० उरुग्वेमा भएको थियो । त्यस वर्ल्ड कप उरुग्वेले नै जित्यो । वर्ल्ड कप आठ वटा देशहरूले मात्र जितेका छन् । ब्राजिलले ५ वटा, इटाली र जर्मनीले ४ वटा, अर्जेन्टिनाले ३ वटा, फ्रान्स र उरुग्वेले २ वटा र इङ्ल्यान्ड र स्पेनले १ एउटा वर्ल्ड कप जितेका छन् । मेस्सी, रोनाल्डो, नेमार जुनियर, आदि सबैभन्दा प्रसिद्ध खेलाडी हुन् ।
My name is Drishtanta Raj Sapkota. I am ten years old. I live in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu.. I have four members in my family; my parents, my elder brother and me. My father’s name is Dinesh Raj Sapkota, my mother’s name is Hira Sapkota and my brother’s name is Dikshanta Sapkota.
I study in Sifal School in grade 4. I study many subjects in school but I love reading English. I also play many games at school with my friends. I like drawing during my free time. I also like watching movies.
The drama teaching school, Lalabala, organised an international festival where different countries showcased their acts. It was not a competition; it was a festival. Our school participated alongside countries like France, Poland, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Slovakia. The festival, organised by Lalabala's chairman, Tanka Chaulagain, took place at Swasti Sri Gurukul IB World School, an impressive institution with a futsal ground, basketball court, and an indoor heated swimming pool. The main building stood six floors high.
Our school had prepared an act for the Drama Night a year ago, and we decided to perform the same act at the festival. The day before our performance, we had a rehearsal at Swasti Sri Gurukul. My mother and grandmother were coming to see me act, and, coincidentally, it was my birthday on the day of the festival.
On the festival day, our teacher, Rajan sir, gathered us at the elementary school at 7 a.m. There, we changed into our costumes and practised our act with sound. We headed to Swasti Sri Gurukul at 9 a.m. The journey was quite long, and our performance was scheduled for 11 a.m.
After our act, many people approached me for photos. We went downstairs and played futsal for a while before going to a restaurant for lunch. After eating, we returned to watch other shows. First, we watched Slovakia's drama titled 'Sadness for John Lennon.' Their act portrayed a bullet believed to be the strongest thing in the world, but John Lennon's songs were depicted as even stronger. The drama concluded with John Lennon's famous song, "Imagine."
Next was Nepal's drama titled 'Saili Barai,' depicting the story of a 15-year-old Dalit boy who died at the hands of the police. It was the most intense act I had ever seen.
After the act, we attended the medal and certificate distribution ceremony, where small statues of Buddha were also given. Once the distribution concluded, we returned to the elementary school. My friends called their parents, and Rajan sir dropped me home, where I celebrated my birthday party!
हरेक वर्ष आउने एउटा ठुलो चाडपर्व दसैँ हो । दसैँकाे मलाई मन पर्ने दिन चाहिँ नवमीको दिन हो । किनकि त्यो दिनमा मेरो पूजा हुन्छ । यो दिनमा कुमारी अर्थात् किशोरी कन्याको पूजा गरिन्छ। कुमारी भनेकाे दुर्गा माताको स्वरुप हुन्। मलाई यो दिनमा कुमारी मानेर मेरी आमा र मेरा तीन जना हजुरआमाहरूले पूजा गर्नुहुन्छ। त्यत्ति मात्र होइन, मलाई पूजा गरेपछि उहाँहरूले नयाँ लुगा, दक्षिणा र अरु सामग्री उपहारमा दिनुहुन्छ। दिनभरि मैले मिठो मिठो खानेकुरा पाउँछु। यो दिनमा मलाई सबैले धेरै मान गर्नुहुन्छ। मैले यो दिन गाली पनि खादिनँ । सबैले धेरै माया गर्नुहुन्छ । तर बिहान चाँडै उठ्नु परेर मलाई अल्छी लाग्छ। ठाउँ ठाउँमा जानु परेर मलाई थकाइ पनि लाग्छ। तर जे भएपनि आफूलाई देवीलाई जस्तै गरी जल, फूल, अक्षता, अबिर, केसरी, जौ, तिल सहित नैवेद्य वस्त्र चढाएर गरिने पूजाको अनुभव एकदमै रमाइलो र मेरा लागि अविरस्मणीय हुन्छ।
हरेक वर्ष मेरो विद्यालयले डियरवाक सिफल नाइट कार्यक्रमकाे आयोजना गर्छ । सिफल नाइट कार्यक्रमकाे लागि केही दिन अगाडिदेखि नै प्राक्टिस सुरु हुन्छ । नाटक, नृत्य, , योग, तेक्वान्दो सङ्गीत जस्ता थुप्रै कुरामा विद्यार्थीहरूले आफ्नाे प्रस्तुति दिन्छन् । म चाहिँ धेरै जसो नाटकमा छनाेट हुन्छु । मेराे नाटकमा अभिनय गर्ने कला एकदमै राम्राे छ भनेर सबैले भन्नुहुन्छ । सिफल नाइटमा धेरै रमाइलो हुन्छ । सिफल नाइटभन्दा अघिल्लाे दिन चाहिँ रिहल्सल पनि हुने गर्छ । रिहल्सलमा पुरै दिन पढाइ हुँदैन । दिनभरि प्राक्टिस हुन्छ । सिफल नाइटको दिन हामी आआफ्नो पोसाक लगाएर मेकअप गरेर तयार भई कक्षामा गएर बस्छौँ । हामीले त्यो दिन खाजाका रूपमा स्यानविज र केही फलफूल पनि पाउँछौँ । हामीले आफ्नो पालोअनुसार पालो आएपछि मञ्चमा गएर आफ्नाे प्रस्तुति दिने गर्दछौँ । हाम्रा अभिभावकहरू पनि सिफल नाइटमा हाम्राे प्रस्तुति हेर्न आउनुहुन्छ । विद्यालयले डियरवाक सिफल नाइट कार्यक्रम वर्षमा दुईपटक आयाेजना गर्दछ ।
We experience different weather throughout the year. Someday it's windy, some day sunny, rainy and sometimes, we experience different weather in a single day too.
People like checking weather on the internet to make sure they meet their needs depending upon what weather they are likely to experience that day. Weather affects lives in many different ways. From what we wear, what we eat, what we grow in our garden. There are different devices that help the experts detect the upcoming weather. It is very rare that the detection goes wrong. There are weather satellites that monitor Earth from space.
Generally, people in particular regions experience similar weather from year to year based on the seasons. This regular pattern of weather over extended periods of time is called the region's climate.
विवाह एक सामाजिक एवं सांस्कृतिक परम्परा हो । हरेक समुदायमा छाेराछाेरीकाे उमेर बढ्दै गएपछि विवाह गरिदिनु अनिवार्य जस्तै हो । विवाह एउटा सामाजिक कार्य हाे । जुन एकअर्काका परिवार बसेर गरिने महत्त्वपूर्ण निर्णय हो । यो निर्णय लिँदा पारिवारिक उपस्थिति एकदमै अनिवार्य हुन्छ । केटा पक्ष र केटी पक्ष बसेर एक अर्काको विश्वासमा गरिने परम्परागत शैली नै विवाह हो । विवाह एउटा अनौठो चलन हो जसमा एक अर्कालाई एकछिन बुझेर निर्णय गरिने एउटा संस्कार वा चलन हो । विवाहमा केटा पक्ष जन्ती लिएर केटीको घर जान्छन् । विवाह भएपछि केटी केटाको घरमा गएर आजीवन बस्नु पर्ने हुन्छ । बाहुन क्षेत्रीको विवाह निकै रमाइलो तथा भड्किलो पनि हुन्छ । जसमा आफन्तलाई भोज गर्नुका साथै केटी पक्षलाई लुगा फाटादेखि गरगहनासम्म सबैमा पैसा खर्च गर्नुपर्ने हुन्छ । दुई जनाको(केटा र केटी) सहमतिमा विवाहको टुङ्गाे लाग्दछ । बाहुन क्षेत्रीमा विभिन्न किसिमबाट विवाह गरिन्छ । मागी विवाह, भागी विवाह आदि । मागी विवाहमा दुई पक्ष बिच कुराकानी, केटा र केटी दुवैकाे आनीबानी बुझेर सहमतिमा गरिन्छ । यो दिन विवाह हो, यस दिन जन्ती आउने भनेर धेरै मानिसको आशीर्वाद लिएर गरिन्छ भने भागी विवाह केटा र केटीको आपसी सहमतिमा आफ्नै इच्छामा गरिन्छ ।
I have an aquarium. I have two fish living in my aquarium. I give them food everyday. I always wanted to have a pet. My parents brought these golden fish as my pets. I feed them everyday. We should not overfeed them because that can be risky to their lives. We should also be careful and maintain the temperature of water in the aquarium.
I feel happy seeing them swimming in the water. I spend a lot of time watching my pets swim. I wonder how they feel living in water. I wish they could talk to me.
The day before Fulpati, my dad excitedly said that we would be visiting Taudaha Lake the next day. Upon hearing this, I could not control my happiness and jumped up and down with joy. That night, I went to bed early, dreaming of visiting the lake the next day.
The next morning, after breakfast, my mom, as usual, prepared a healthy lunch for all of us. After lunch, we got ready for our outing. My dad called a Pathao taxi, and we hopped into the car while my mom captured beautiful videos of nature along the way. It was truly the happiest experience.
After a few hours, we started feeling hungry, and fortunately, there was a cafe near the lake entrance. We had delicious treats like kulfi, ice cream, pani puri, chatpate, a strawberry lassi, and three banana lassi. After satisfying our hunger, we fed the fish and explored the surroundings, taking pictures of the lake.
My sister was so happy as she ran around the lake. My dad worried about her safety and asked for my help, and being the fastest runner in the family, I swiftly brought her back. My mom praised my efforts, making the day even more enjoyable.
I also saw a rainbow over the lake; it looked wonderful. We continued feeding the fish, took a short break, and then took more pictures to capture the memories. As the day was passing quickly, we decided it was time to head back home and called a Pathao taxi once again.
Unfortunately, the smell of diesel in the taxi made my dad, my little sister, and me feel dizzy, and we felt like vomiting. My sister could not hold back and vomited.
After an hour, we reached home and rested. After a while, I went to a nearby shop to buy Fanta.
My father informed us that he had to meet someone, so after enjoying our Fanta, he left. Shortly afterward, my mom told my sister and me that we were going to buy vegetables in the nearby chowk. We agreed and went to the market, where my mom also surprised us with Kinderjoys.
Returning home, we found that my dad had already returned, and we all enjoyed a delicious dinner together. That day turned out to be the best day ever, filled with family, fun, and unforgettable moments.
दसैँ नेपालीहरूको महान चाड हो । नेपालका पूर्वमा मेचीदेखि पश्चिम महाकालीसम्म हिन्दूहरूले याे चाड खुसीका साथ मनाउँछन् । दसैँ असोज कात्तिक महिनामा पर्छ । दसैँमा विद्यालय र कार्यालयहरू पनि बिदा हुन्छ । दसैँमा जताततै हरियाली र रमाइलो हुन्छ । पढाइ र कामको सिलसिलामा टाढा-टाढा पुगेका मानिसहरू पनि दसैँमा घर आउँछन् । दसैँमा शक्तिकी देवी दुर्गा भवानीको पूजा गरिन्छ । दसैँको पहिलो दिन घटस्थापना हो । पहिलो दिन आआफ्नो घरकाे पूजाकोठामा जमरा राखेर दसैँको सुरुवात गरिन्छ । हरेक दिन बिहान दुर्गाभवानी र जमराको पूजा गरिन्छ । दसैँको पहिलो दिनदेखि नवौँ दिनसम्मलाई नौरथा पनि भनिन्छ । उक्त नौ दिन विभिन्न देवीको मन्दिरहरूमा भक्तजनहरूको भीड लाग्ने गर्दछ । दसैँको सातौँ दिनलाई सप्तमी भनिन्छ । यस दिन घरघरमा फूलपाती भित्र्याएर मनाइन्छ । दसैँको अन्तिम दिन विजयादशमी हो यस दिनमा आफूभन्दा ठूलाको हातबाट टिका र जमरा लगाएर आशीर्वाद ग्रहण गरिन्छ । विजयादशमीदेखि पूर्णिमासम्म मान्यजनको हातबाट टिका जमरा लगाउन इष्टमित्रको घरमा पनि जाने परम्परा छ । जसमा ठूलाबडाले टीका जमरा लगाएर नयाँ नयाँ नोट दक्षिणाको रुपमा दिने चलन छ । असत्यमाथि सत्यको विजय भएको खुसीमा यो चाड मनाउने गरिन्छ । यो चाडमा नयाँ नयाँ लुगा लगाउने र मिठो मिठो खानेकुरा खाने गरिन्छ । मलाई दसैँ चाड मनपर्छ ।
The five-day festival of lights is known as Tihar. We worship Laxmi, the goddess of wealth, in Tihar. On the first day, Kaag Tihar is the day of the crow. The second day, Kukur Tihar, is for worshipping the dogs as the agents of Yama. On the third day are Gai Tihar and Laxmi Puja. On this day, cows are offered prayers and food in the morning, and Goddess Laxmi is offered elaborate prayers and puja in the evening. Goddess Laxmi is welcomed into people’s homes by making a path of footprints leading into the house. All lights are kept on, and the doors and windows are kept open to let in the goddess. Rows of lamps are placed along windows and doors, with the strong hope that goddess Laxmi enters. The fourth day is for the draft animal, the oxen, when the Newari community also performs Mha Puja dedicated to oneself. The fifth day is Bhai Tika. It is when sisters put tika on their brothers’ foreheads, give blessings, and give gifts. Houses all over the country are lit up with extra lights. We can see the great view of Kathmandu city. People also make rangoli and decorate the rangoli very nicely in their house. People also sing, dance, and play deusi bhailo while playing deusi bhailo. We also earn some money and food. People and kids also play with tons of firecrackers.
हाम्रा चाडहरूमध्ये तिहार दोस्रो महत्त्वपूर्ण चाड हो । यो चाड दसैँपछि आउँछ । यो चाड प्रत्येक वर्ष कार्तिक कृष्ण त्रयाेदशीदेखि कार्तिक शुक्ल द्वितीया सम्म पाँच दिन मनाइन्छ। तिहारको दिन सबैको घर झिलिमिली बत्ती र फूलमालाहरूले सजिएको हुन्छ । यो चाडलाई यमपञ्चक र दीपावलीको रुपमा पनि चिनिन्छ । नेपाल अधिराज्यभरका हिन्दुहरूले यो चाड धुमधामसँग मनाउँछन् । तिहारमा पहिलो दिन कागतिहार, दोस्रो दिन कुकुरतिहार, तेस्रो दिन लक्ष्मीपूजा वा गाईतिहार, चौथो दिन गोरुपूजा र पाँचौँ दिन भाइटीका हुन्छ । पहिलो दिन कागतिहार हो । यो दिन हामीहरू आफूले खाना खानुभन्दा अगाडि कागलाई खुवाउँछौँ । दोस्रो दिन कुकुर तिहार हो । यो दिन कुकुरलाई टीकामाला लगाइ पूजा गरेर मिठो मिठो खानेकुरा खान दिन्छौँ । तेस्रो दिन लक्ष्मीपूजा हो । यो दिन सरसफाइ गरेर बत्ती र फूलमालाले घर सजाएर लक्ष्मी भगवानको पूजा गर्छाैँ । यो दिन
केटीहरू घरघर गई भैली खेल्ने चलन छ । चौथो दिन गोरुपूजा हो । यो दिन गोरुपूजा गर्छाैँ । नेवारी समाजमा यो दिन म्हपूजा अथवा आफैँलाई पूजा गर्ने चलन छ । यो दिन केटाहरू घरघर गई देउसी खेल्ने छ । तिहारकाे पाँचौँ दिन भाइटीका हो । यो दिन दाजुभाइहरू आफ्नो दिदीबहिनीहरूको हातबाट निधारमा रङ्गीचङ्गी टीका र मखमली फूलको माला लगाएर शिरमा ढाका टोपी लगाउँछन् र दिदीबहिनीहरूलाई पैसा र उपहार दिन्छन् । मलाई तिहार मन पर्छ ।
