Effect of music in studying

Music is one of the most amazing ways to relax and enjoy. We tend to listen to music everyday from early morning to late night. For me especially it makes my day a little more exciting. Even if you are having a bad week, bad day, music becomes an amazing fix . We all love listening to music. We may not like some type of music and most of the music you listen to also depends on what mood you are in. But is this music actually good to listen to while studying?

Article first published in july of 1989 on the topic of effect of music on anxiety where about 33 people were taken and tested on whether music reduces anxiety or not, and to induce a standard anxiety test the patient had to complete the state portion of the state trait anxiety inventory. Blood pressure, heartbeat rates, respiration of each patient was measured carefully. The experiment was then performed and the result then indicated that the patient did in fact show a lowered anxiety score after listening to music.
So from the article what i am trying to get to is that we don't yet fully know how music changes our state of mind but from the experiment if it is found out that music does lower anxiety then i am pretty sure that when your anxiety level is lower you will have a better understanding of what you are reading and what you are writing.
But we also have to consider the distraction from music. As a personal experience I started listening to music while studying since I had heard that from recent studies it showed listening to music helped to understand better. But while doing that I found myself getting lost in the music rather than the actual studies. This in fact can be a serious problem if you are someone who gets easily distracted by music. 
Have you ever tried music meditation? It's a meditation with slow , peaceful and very light music and it is said that this music helps you concentrate. Which I have found true while doing so myself a meditation called 'soul of healing' by Deepak chopra . But the purpose of the music was that you don't lose focus on what you are doing  here focusing on breathing , and if you were to ever get distracted by your own thoughts the music would be a way to get your distracted mind back to a focused state. What I am trying to bring out is that the type of music that helps you focus, study is different from the type of music you listen to in your leisure time. It mostly has to do with your brain waves and how they react to different music.
In a nutshell it depends on the person who listens, what type of music he or she listens and what happens to their brains during listening to a certain music. Nostalgia, sometimes loneliness, happiness, these feelings may be induced while listening to music. In my opinion listening to music may be good but something that's not distracting and should be listened to in a very small volume so that your mind can truly concentrate. As it is still fully unknown why music helps calm us down or create happiness or why it reacts with the brain in such a manner and is still a hot topic of this generation.

Sabin Rai is a singer and lyricist and also known as Bryan Adams of Nepal because of his voice.He has two albums Dhanyavaad and Hidchhu . He was born on 20th February ,1992. He is from Dharan, Nepal. His music genre is Rock.Sabin Rai is known for his  interest  in ancient songs by performing on stage and singing in different styles.His dedication towards music is of next level. He has got the best voice ever. Before he had the band name Sabin Rai and the Elektrix. Now he has his own band Sabin Rai and the Pharaoh. Sabin Rai is the evergreen singer of Nepal .The lyrics and the words in his music touches people's hearts.
The band name “Sabin rai and the Pharaoh” means Sabin Rai: his name and the pharaoh means a ruler in ancient Egypt. His first single song “ komal tyo timro” was a huge success. He is 47 years old. Whenever people get to  know about his age no one believe because of the way he performs in the concert, literally like he is so full of energy everytime. Whenever he is in concert he seems like he is a singer of age 25 looking at his excitement.
Some of his songs are “Dhanyavaad, Samarpan, paisa, timi nai hau,  jau ke basu, gurasko fed muni etc. Among the top hit music of Sabin Rai is “Maya jalaimai and Timi nai hau” which crossed million views and is enjoyed by all the listeners around the country and he is even known all around the world due to his voice.We can find him performing in various stages, clubs and concerts of his own. He has contributed a lot to the Nepali music industry and is loved by all. He has been rocking with his rock music and the band  also has been gaining fame due to their hard work. He has been performing various concerts internationally as well. Loved and known by all Sabin Rai is purely a rockstar.

सामान्य रुघाखोकीबाट गम्भीर रोग लाग्ने भाइरसलाई कोरोना भाइरस भनिन्छ । यो सङ्क्रामक भाइरस चीनको वुहानमा पत्ता लागेको थियो, जुन धेरै छोटो अवधिमा विश्वभरमा फैलिएको छ । सङ्क्रमण कहाँबाट फैलिएको हो भन्ने यकिन स्रोत खुल्न सकेको छैन तर विभिन्न समुद्री खानेकुरा खाँदा कोरोनाको उत्पत्ति भएको हो भन्ने बताइएको छ । कोरोना ब्याक्टेरियाबाट नभई भाइरसको कारणले हुन्छ र याे बालबालिकादेखि वृद्धवृद्धासम्म सबै उमेरका मानिसलाई सर्न सक्छ त्यसैले भाइरसबाट आफूलाई बचाउन सबैले यसका लक्षण र सावधानीका उपायहरू जान्नै पर्छ ।

समय समयमा साबुन र पानीले हात सफा गर्ने र सार्वजनिक स्थानहरूमा जाँदा ह्यान्ड सेनिटाइजर प्रयोग गर्ने बानी बसाल्नुपर्छ । घरमै बस्ने, अस्वस्थ भए उचित र पौष्टिक खाना खाने र आफ्नो पालो हुँदा खोप लगाउन जाने गर्नाले यसकाे गम्भीर असरबाट बच्न सकिन्छ । यदि तपाईं धेरै अस्वस्थ महसुस गर्नुहुन्छ भने चिकित्सकको सल्लाह लिनुहोस् तर सबै सावधानी अपनाएर स्वस्थ रहन र कोरोना भाइरसबाट टाढा रहन सक्दो प्रयास गर्नुहोस् ।

भाइरस एकदमै तीव्र गतिमा फैलिरहेको छ र वैज्ञानिकले नयाँ नयाँ भेरियन्ट पहिचान गरिरहेका छन् । माथिका सबै सावधानीहरू पालना गर्नु र आफैँलाई खतरनाक भाइरसबाट बचाउनु नै उत्तम उपाय हो । हामीले गम्भीर स्वास्थ्य समस्या निम्त्याउन सक्ने हानिकारक प्रभाव र लक्षणहरूबारे मानिसहरूमा चेतना जगाउनुपर्छ त्यसैले सरकारलाई सहयोग गर्नु हाम्रो कर्तव्य र दायित्व हो ताकि हामी सकेसम्म चाँडो भाइरसबाट मुक्त हुन सकाैँ ।

The Royal Massacre

Most of us know about the royal massacre that took place on 1st June, 2001.There are a lot of theories about who designed this huge royal family massacre. Some people say that Prince Dipendra shot his father King Birendra, mother Queen Aishwarya and other seven members of the royal family before shooting himself in the head. Some say prince paras killed the royal family for political reasons. Nobody knows if the people are actually telling the truth.  A great crisis occured  in the country as well as the political system after that. The people’s war was underway and it threatened to topple the government of Nepal.

After this massacre, Late King Birendra’s son Dipendra was appointed as the new king for the short amount of time.He was the king who ruled over our country for the shortest period of time.King dipendra was the king of Nepal for only three days from 1 to 4 june. He was in a terrible condition. He was hanging in the situation of life and death. He was in a coma for four days. After he died, his uncle Gyanendra became the king and took an active role in defending the monarchy. So, basically Nepal had three kings in just four days. Due to these reasons,there was a lot of chaos and it caused  political instability. Everyone was so obsessed with power. They wanted to be the ruler and didn’t think about the betterment of the country. The Maoists demanded for the dissolution of the monarchy which was finally approved in December of 2007. This incident caused a lot of chaos and the political condition of the country was not good.

A lot of investigation had been carried out but the massacre has always remained a mystery. Noone knows about this horrible  incident that took place in the Narayanhiti Palace of Nepal. People still respect the royal family and wish for monarchy.

The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest, also known as Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja, written by Shinkoshoto and illustrated by Huuka Kazabana.It is a japanese animated series by J.C.Staff studios.
It is about Mathias Hildesheimr (aka Matty) the Reincarnation of Gaia, a mage that lived thousand years ago. In the world of magic, the powers and future of a mage are predetermined at birth through so called "Marks" , the four symbols that categorize a human's aptitude for magic. The fact that his mark was considered very bad for combat and only useful to increase the magic, an incredibly skilled sage decided to reincarnate thousands years in the future.

Reborn as Mathias Hildesheimr a six year old boy and the third son of a duke's family he attains the mark of close combat he always desired. Unfortunately, it is also discovered that mankind's knowledge of magic and swordsmanship has drastically weakened in this era. Only poor quality magic equipment can be found, while even the most basic spells have been forgotten. To add insult to injury, his current mark, once hailed as the most powerful, is now viewed as the worst.

When Matty becomes 12 years old, his unequalled swordsmanship lands him in the Second Royal Academy. However, the former sage uncovers signs of demons working in the shadows, and with humanity weaker than ever, it is up to Matty to stop the demon's plans.
Overall it is an amazing anime. It is still Airing and till now it has 3 episodes. It started to air on Jan 08, 2022 and is estimated to finish on Mar 26, 2022. From this 3 episodes it is scored 6.58 on myanimelist.net

In today's modern era many of us do not embrace the necessity of adequate sleep. The proverbs and myths that say sleeping is a waste of time are completely a fallacy. A good night's sleep is as important as exercising and eating healthy. Sleep is a vital, often neglected, component of every person's overall health and well-being. Our day-to-day activity is linked with our good sleep. Good sleep helps us to stay more productive, conscious and healthy. A person who gets around 7 hours of sleep is considered to have a better quality of life than the ones who tend to have irregular sleep patterns. The person who gets an adequate amount of sleep is also considered healthy mentally and physically.

Unfortunately, humans are the only mammals who willingly delay sleep that leads to many things such as having anxiety, depression and lack of a quality life that we all want. If we don't get enough sleep we tend to feel groggy at work or school. Feeling groggy means no concentration and no productivity which ultimately leads our life to be wasted. South Korea and Japan are one of the most developed countries across Asia but these countries have the highest number of suicide rates. "Karoshi death", the death due to lack of sleep, is the most common death in Japan. Sleep deprivation and insomnia are the most leading problems seen today across the globe. There may be different reasons for this. Teenagers may indulge themself on social media, adults on working late till midnight and many more. Sleep is as important to the human body as food and water which we are neglecting. We all are scared of facing the consequences/punishments after we make a mistake. Then why aren’t we scared of facing punishment that’s going to harm us not only for days, months but throughout the life that is not getting adequate sleep? It’s appalling to see how hard it has become to sleep today and effortless to be the victim of mental illness, insomnia.

Irregular sleep patterns are the reason for our decline in productivity. Cutting down on sleep and working late doesn't make us any productive. We are not just cutting down on sleep but we are also cutting down on our good mental and physical health, good life on a long-run basis. Better sleep results in a better mood which means having a quality day. Delaying our sleep isn't rewarding but having a healthier sleep routine is. Being productive, happy, having positive energy, and being focused are linked with a good night's sleep. If we don't sleep how will we dream well?

Living under continuous pressure of studies/career may be very frustrating in today's competitive world, that is why many of us are cutting down our sleep. We are decimating our life in a way by doing so. Cutting down sleep doesn't have anything to do with our future, instead getting sleep surely will help. Sleep is not only about closing your eyes, it's about relaxation of your mind and heart. Sleep is also a weapon that helps us fight anxiety, pain, chaos. Who doesn't want a good rest? A rest after facing hectic reality, working on the same desk each day, studying those bulky books and making notes. Sleep helps us to escape the harsh reality we may be facing, not always but maybe for a while. Getting good sleep is the best way one can relax. You need not to move your body as they do in yogas, you need not to lift weights as they do during workouts, all you need to do is lie down. This is how simple it is to relax. So, if you go to bed early and get adequate sleep you'll be thankful to yourself throughout.

Vaccine Mandates and Tyranny

On  11 March, 2020, WHO declared COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic. Since then nations around the world have been working to combat the spread of the virus. Various measures have been put in place to combat the spread showing their own degrees of success. But the implementation of vaccine mandates can be observed to be an increasingly favoured measure for governments of different countries. The vaccine mandates are ultimately promoting tyranny on the side of the government.

 Many of us would agree that making vaccination mandatory is going to be the best way to end COVID-19 pandemic. But many people also believe that mandating vaccination infringes on their personal freedom. If governments can make it compulsory to wear a seatbelt while driving then why not mandate vaccination. Both acts will and have shown to save millions of lives. Is your personal freedom more important than the welfare of your fellow citizens and humans? My answer would be absolutely not. But I would also like to point out the decreasing trust in individual conscience and increasing trust in a government’s conscience.

  Even though seatbelts and vaccinations are both mandated by the government, the promiximites with individual liberty are very different. Having to wear seatbelts wouldn’t cause people to think about individual freedom because it is not related to something important to an individual. But vaccinations are completely different in a sense that it is one’s body that is being injected. The bigger problem here is that all the mandating is being done by the government. The government today might not be tyrannical but it is not true that it never can be one. This can be thought of as keeping a lion as a pet. Even though it is trained to be harmless towards humans, you cannot be naive about its natural instincts. Governments turn tyrannical when given more power over their citizens. The people in governments, people’s representatives or politicians deal with power which has many times shown to bring out the worst in humans. The rules of their game don't allow for the success of an unselfish and sincere person. Almost every decision can be analyzed to be motivated by personal gains, rather than the interests of the people who elected them. We are seeing the deterioration of trust on an individual's conscience. Society is moving towards more trust and power in the government. But history doesn’t seem to be generous to people who have helped build a monolithic government and a similar type of society.

 The earlier responses to the COVID-19 pandemic show us how brazen governments around the world follow authoritarian methods. China being authoritarian was able to put its citizens under a strict lockdown in order to curb the spread of COVID-19. And the same method was followed by governments all around the world. We must remember that all totalitarian governments throughout the history of our civilization have used crises like the current one to gain more power and destroy individual liberty.

हिमालको काखमा अवस्थित छ हाम्रो देश नेपाल । हिमाली क्षेत्र सधैँ हिउँले ढाकिएको हुन्छ । याे क्षेत्रको दक्षिणी भागमा कम चिसो छ । याे क्षेत्रको हावापानी चिसो, सुख्खा र हावायुक्त छ । सोलुखुम्बु नेपालको उत्तरपश्चिम कुनामा अवस्थित प्रदेश नम्बर १ को हिमाली जिल्ला हो । यो प्रदेश नम्बर १ का ३ हिमाली जिल्लामध्ये एक हो । यहाँ सेर्पा, भोटे, थकालीहरूको बसोबास छ । तिनीहरूले बक्खु, पाङ्देन भनिने बाक्लो ऊनी लुगा र दाेचा भनिने घुँडासम्मकाे बाक्लो जुत्ता लगाउँछन् । याे क्षेत्रका मानिसहरूले ‘ढिँडाे’ (मकै वा कोदोबाट बनेको हलुवाजस्तो खानेकुरा), रोटी, आलु र मासु खान्छन् । यहाँका जनता मकै, कोदो, आलु, फलफूल र तरकारी खेती गर्छन् । पशुपालन मुख्य उनीहरूका पेसाहरूमध्ये एक हो । तिनीहरूले गाई, भेडा, पहाडी बाख्रा (च्याङग्रा), याक आदि पाल्छन्, जसले तिनीहरूलाई दुध, चिज, मखन, मासु आदि दिन्छन् । उनीहरूसँग एक विशेष प्रकारको समुद्री पनि छ, जुन चियापात, नुन र घ्युबाट बनाइन्छ । यहाँका मानिसहरू कडा परिश्रम गर्छन् ।

यहाँका मानिसहरू एकदमै बलिया र स्वस्थ छन् । यहाँ कतिपय ठाउँमा स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र र स्वास्थ्य चौकी पनि स्थापना भएका छन् । हिमालवासीको मुख्य पेसा पशुपालन हो । अर्काे मुख्य पेसा भनेको यस क्षेत्रको अर्थतन्त्रलाई बलियाे बनाउने पर्यटन हो । यहाँका मानिसहरू माघ महिनामा पर्ने ल्होसार पर्व मनाउने गर्छन् । उनीहरू चाडपर्वमा एकअर्काको घर जान्छन् । हिमालयमा बसोबास गर्ने अधिकांश मानिस बौद्ध धर्मावलम्बी छन् । यहाँ धेरै सुन्दर पहाडहरू छन्, जसका कारण बर्सेनी धेरै पर्यटकहरू यहाँ भ्रमणका लागि आउँछन् । यस ठाउँमा बसोबास गर्ने मानिसहरू धेरै मेहनती छन् र आनन्ददायी वातावरणमा बस्छन् । संसारको सबैभन्दा अग्लो हिमाल सगरमाथा नेपालको यस क्षेत्रमा पर्दछ । यस क्षेत्रका अधिकांश घरहरू एउटै तलाका छन् । याे क्षेत्रको उचाइ ४८७७ मिटरदेखि ८८४८ मिटरको बिचमा छ । यस क्षेत्रका घरहरूमा केही ढुङ्गाका छाना छन् भने केहीमा खरका छाना छन् । सगरमाथा क्षेत्र नेपालका सबैभन्दा प्रसिद्ध र सुन्दर पदयात्रा गन्तव्यहरूमध्ये एक हो । याे स्थानीय रूपमा खुम्बु क्षेत्र भनेर चिनिन्छ । यो देशको उत्तरपूर्वी भागमा अवस्थित छ र सगरमाथा राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज र मकालु वरुण राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्जद्वारा सुसज्जित छ ।

यो क्षेत्रमा धेरैजसो सेर्पाहरू र तिब्बतका मानिसहरू बसोबास गर्छन् । सगरमाथा आरोहणका लागि हिँडेका पर्वतारोहीहरू यही ठाउँबाट जान्छन् । यसै कारणले यसलाई ‘सगरमाथाको प्रवेशद्वार’ पनि भनिन्छ । पदयात्रा र दृश्यावलोकनका लागि आउने विदेशी पर्यटक पनि नाम्चे बजारमा आउने गरेका छन् ।
