On July 28th, 2023, the DeerExpress Club hosted a Storytelling Session for the Batch of 2026. Led by host Phenalin Pant, the session adhered to a code of conduct for respectful engagement. Five participants presented unique comedy-themed stories inspired by personal experiences or external sources, each allotted 7 minutes. Additionally, randomly selected audience members were given 2 minutes to speak on a topic of their choice. Samrat Nakarmi won the competition with a captivating childhood memories-themed story, while Pranjal Raut secured the runner-up position for his story on "The Great Emu War." The club congratulated all participants and expressed gratitude to the audience and the DWIT Media Club for their presence, coverage, and support.
