Germs are living beings. It is all around us. They are so small that we cannot see them at all. We can only see them with the help of a microscope. Germs can multiply. Germs are found in different shapes and sizes. There are 4 types of germs. They are Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi and Protozoa. Germs can also live in hard surfaces like wood, glass, etc for up to 9 days. Germs can spread by handshake, blood, cough and sneeze. There are also some germs which are good for our health. They are found in yoghurt. Number of germs is increasing due to pollution. We can avoid germs by washing our hands with soap and water after touching something. We must wear a mask while meeting with sick people.
