Me and my mom went for my swimming lesson instead of celebrating Teej. I had mixed feelings at that time. Once we reached the destination, I was excited but a little too scared. My mom bought me swimming goggles, then I wore my swimsuit and went inside the pool, and to be honest, it wasn’t cold. The coach taught me the easy steps first as I was a beginner. Since I was scared, I didn’t let my body loose and tightened my body while I was learning to float. The coach told me to loosen it,  so I did and successfully started to float. When I got perfect on floating, the coach told me to glide till the end of the swimming pool till I got perfect on landing and gliding in the swimming pool. So after an hour, I finally swam on my own. I didn’t go deep and swam in the 3-foot area. I was told to paddle with my feet. I had to practice, and it felt like I was just resting while I was paddling. I also had to make a beat. After I was perfect at it, we headed to the bigger swimming pool, and we started to swim at the depth, which was 6 feet tall, but while I was swimming, I lost control and I started to “sink,” and I ended up drowning, but my coach saved me. A few minutes later, my biggest fear came, and I had to do a backstroke. It was terrifying, and I drowned 12 times. But my coach saved me every time. He told me to stop, and we continued with the easy stroke. I swam for 2-3 hours. We had to end as it was getting colder and darker. After the swimming lesson, I ate some delicious food and headed towards home. I wonder what I will learn next time!!
