One of the most celebrated days around the world is Teacher's Day. Different countries celebrate Teacher's Day on different dates and in their own unique ways. In Nepal, we celebrate Teacher's Day on Asar Shukla Purnima each year, and we call it "Guru Purnima."

Teachers play a very important role in our lives. They are as important as our parents and guardians. Teachers guide us in the right direction and always encourage us to do our best in whatever we want to achieve. They teach us with a lot of patience and care, treat us like their own children, and provide us with the best knowledge for our future. Teachers are very selfless and are like our best angels in disguise. That's why, in Nepal and all over the world, teachers are respected and treated like gods.

There are many ways to celebrate Teacher's Day around the world. We celebrate it by making postcards for our teachers, decorating our classrooms, giving special gifts, preparing speeches, and organising performances to honour our respected teachers.
