Our environment means things around us. In our environment there are animals, insects, humans and many more. There are bodies of water all around us. There are rivers, lakes, ponds, oceans, and seas. We need to make our environment clean and healthy so we can function well physically and mentally. In Nepal there is a lot of air pollution going on. It is caused by factories where bad smoke comes out of chimneys. Air pollution causes health problems, and loss of eyesight. When we go outside if we see a person smoking we should always cover our mouth or nose. People also throw waste here and there, which makes our environment dirty and not safe. There can be a lot of rodents, flies and mosquitoes that can transmit diseases. Our water sources should also be kept clean. There are people who still throw trash in rivers which causes harm to fish, frogs, tadpoles and other water animals which also leads to death. Furthermore there are instances of dumping sewage in the water which changes the water colour and also gives out a foul smell. This is not healthy for the environment. In summary, we should create a healthy environment for plants, animals, insects and humans safe and healthy. After all, we only have one planet to live on and we must protect it.
