Children’s Day In Nepal

In Nepal, Children’s Day (Baldivas) is celebrated on Bhadra 29 according to the Nepali calendar after signing the child rights agreement with the UN. Earlier during the Shah rule, Nepal used to celebrate Children’s Day on Bhadra 4. 

Children’s Day is celebrated to honor children and promote their welfare. Children’s Day is a day for children to engage in fun and frolic. The schools celebrate this day by organizing games, cultural programs, and various fun activities.
