The name of the book is ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. It is written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake. This book is about a boy named Charlie and Mr Willy Wonka, owner of the chocolate factory who decided to allow five children to visit his factory and see all the secrets and magic in making his famous chocolates.

The story begins at Mr Bucket’s house where he lived with his parents, Mrs Bucket’s parents, his wife and his son. They were very poor and Charlie, who was a lover of chocolate, could get to taste a bit of chocolate only once a year on his birthday. The thing that tortured Charlie more than not having to have chocolates frequently was the presence of the enormous chocolate factory of Mr Willy Wonka near his house. Mr Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory was a secret place where no one knew how and who made the chocolate. One day it was announced that the Wonka factory will be open to lucky five children who will find the Golden Tickets in Wonka chocolate bars. Charlie became the lucky one to find the fifth Golden Ticket.

Charlie and his grandpa Joe visit the Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory along with the other four winners with their parents. During the factory visit they find out about Oompa-Loompas who are the helpers of Mr Willy Wonka in making chocolates. While visiting the factory one by one all four children get lost in the factory because of their greedy behaviour, overconfidence and addiction. Only Charlie stands till the end of the visit and wins the surprise prize which is the whole factory.
