Gautham Buddha was born in Lumbini. He was a religious teacher. Buddha Jayanti is the biggest day for Buddhist. It falls around the month of Baishakh or Jestha. On this day, it is believed that three major events took place in Buddha’s life. They are his birth, his enlightenment day and his death. This day is also known as the Thrice Blessed Festival.
