Barcelona Football Club was founded on 29 November 1899. The short form of Barcelona is Barcia. Barcelona has won 74 trophies namely; La Liga 26, Copa del rey 30, Supercopa de españa 13, Copa Eva Duarte 3,and Copa de La Liga 2.
In international football clubs, Barcelona has won 20 European and 5 UEFA Champions League title and also holds 4 winning records in UEFA Cup, 5 UEFA Super Cup, 3 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, 3 Fifa Club World Cup ( 2009,2011, and 2015)
Barcelona was ranked first in the International Federation of Football history. Barcelona Club was ranked first in 1997, 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2015. And currently occupies the third position on the UEFA club ranking. Barcelona is one of the most widely supported teams in the world and the club has one of the largest social media following in the world among other sports teams.
Barcelona's all-time highest goal scorer in all competitions (including friendly games) is Lionel Messi with 668 goals, surpassing Pulino Als record (369 goals) held for 87 years as well as being the highest goal scorer in the official competitions with 633 goals. He is also the record goalscorer for Barcelona in European games (117 goals) and international club competitions (122 goals) and the record league scorer with 444 goals in La Liga.
