Introduction

However physicist Roger Penrose proposes an alternative called Conformal Cyclic Cosmology (CCC) which challenges this idea of a genesis. Unlike the Big Bang theory CCC envisions a process of birth, death and rebirth that perpetually occurs in our universe.
