In a quiet room where sorrow unfolds,
Lie to a friend with a heart of silver and gold
Listening, caring about every burden people share,
But inside, emotions are heavy to bear,
They wear a smile like a comforting glove,
Helping others find strength and love,
But in silence, when the day is done,
They carry a tragedy, hidden from everyone,
In the therapy room, where the shadows loom,
The therapist friend carries an emotional tomb,
Silent screams in the heart’s confusing maze,
Their own sorrows are hidden under their comforting gaze,
As they light the path for others to mend
Their own wounds deepen; a tragedy blends
In echoes of silence, they quietly cope
A healer’s heart tangled in hope,
A canvas painted with others' despair
Yet their own palette holds colours unfair
Their eyes have a reflective pool of untold pain
A therapist’s struggle is hard to maintain
They listen to everyone,
Yet no one listens to them,
