I am awaiting the sunrise
I watch the dawn with longing eyes.
Yet when it comes, deceit unfolds
Deceptive warmth, a fleeting veil
Frozen, I stand in the falling rain
A motionless soul in nature's parade
Your voice, a distant echo near
As I tumble again, drowning in fear
Devotion escapes, a fleeting ghost,
In the echoes of sadness, where darkness follows.
A whispered "I know" in the tear-stained night,
We walk into the darkness, chasing the fading light.
Together, we walked, into the night's embrace,
Must I bid you farewell, my heart's trace?
In the echoes of sadness, are you for me?
Or am I to remain under this moonlit sky?
