A temple is a  place where people worship god. Pashupatinath, Kumbeshwar, Swayambhu etc. are some temples. There are lots of temples in Nepal. Kathmandu is known as a city of temples.

Swayambhunath temple and Pashupatinath temple are two of my favourite temples. Both temples are listed as world heritage sites.

I recently went to Pashupatinath temple to observe the evening rituals. There were hundreds of people. I saw so many musical instruments and Aarati, a kind of big oil lamp. They also sang prayers. I joined in too and it was fun.

There are different kinds of temples for different religions. For example, Christians go to church, Buddhists go to the monastery, and Muslims go to Mosques.
