Traffic lights have three colours: red, yellow and green. Each colour has a special meaning. When the light is red, it means to stop. The vehicles stop in the red light. When the light turns yellow, it means to wait or go slow. When the light turns green, it means to go. Traffic lights are not only for vehicles, they also help us to cross the road safely.
