One of my favorite story books is ‘The Wonderful Tale of Pinocchio’.
Once upon a time, there was a wooden puppet named Pinnochio. The puppet wasn’t ordinary. A kind man named Geppeto had made him. A fairy heard his wish and used her magical powers to turn Pinnochio into a real boy. Though he had a wooden appearance, he could move, walk and talk. But, Pinnochio had a problem. He would tell lies and every time he told a lie, his nose would grow longer. Pinnochio had to learn that telling the truth was important. Pinnochio had many adventures. He met a talking cricket, a kind fairy, a sly fox and many kinds of animals.
One day, his father Geppeto was in trouble. He was swallowed by an enormous whale. Pinnochio saved his father and promised that he would become a good boy from then on.
The fairy blessed Pinnochio and he was turned into a real boy.
