I have read many stories in my school books and reading books. I like the story of the thirsty crow a lot! I heard it from my mother.
It was a hot sunny day. A crow was looking for water because it was very thirsty. He keeps flying here and there in search of water but he doesn’t find it anywhere. Tired and sad, he tries to rest on a branch of a tree. He then sees a bucket of water. He reaches the bucket and finds that the water was very less. The crow doesn’t reach the bottom of the bucket. He then starts putting some pebbles in the bucket. Then, the water rises up. The crow drinks water and flies away happily.
