“Do not cut me”, said the tree
“I give you a rain for free
In my shade, you can take rest
You can eat my fruits which are the best.”
“Do not cut me”, said the tree
“I give shelter to the animals and birds for free
You all take my fresh smell
Oh Please! Let me live my life well.”
“Do not cut me”, said the tree
“I protect the environment for free
Be it flood or landslide, you do not have to fear
I vow to make the seasons clear.”
“Do not cut me”, said the tree
“I give you oxygen for free
You can use my leaves and wood
Please save our brotherhood!”
