We grew at the same place
With the same fears and happiness
We studied at the same school
Played games together
You said, we were best friends
But you lied to me
You said, you’ll always be close to me
But you weren’t
I trusted you my whole life
I shared all of my secrets
But I was an unknown player in your game
The game of sadness
The game of leaving each other
The last word I said to you was “SEE YOU”
But that word never came true
You lived in your own world
Forgetting me
Though I still had a leftover place for you in my life
