Pashupatinath Temple

Pashupatinath Temple is the oldest famous Hindu temple that is located in Kathmandu beside the Bagmati River. This temple was created in the 5th Century. The area of Pashupatinath is 0.64 Hectare including all temples. This temple is one of the seven UNESCO Cultural Heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley list in 1979. Nowadays this temple is closed due to Coronavirus but millions of visitors come to visit this temple annually. Shivaratri, Bala Chaturdashi, and Teej are the most celebrated festivals at Pashupatinath temple.a
