I dated in jest, oh Shree,
My apologies sent on bended knee.
I'm sorry for my prank so silly,
Hoping you'll forgive, willy-nilly.
No intention to cause any pain,
Just a playful act in vain.
Regret fills my heart today,
Please accept my apology, I pray.
With a sheepish grin, I confess,
My actions caused this little mess.
I value our relationship, so true,
Let's move past this, me and you.
In jest, I erred, my friend,
Hoping misunderstandings will mend.
I promise to think before I jest,
I'm sorry, Shree, with all my best.
For laughter's sake, I crossed the line,
Forgive me for not being benign.
Our bond means more than a joke,
I'm sorry for making your heart choke.
Let's put this behind, move ahead,
With laughter, friendship, no shred
Of lingering doubt or regret,
I'm sorry, Shree, please don't forget.
