My school organised an Open Mic on 9 June, 2023. Open Mic is a program where we can show our dance, play some musical instruments, recite Sanskrit slok or sing songs. It was my first open mic. I recited a Sanskrit slok with my group. I practised a lot to make my performance better. My family  also came to enjoy the open mic. It was so fun. I enjoyed a dance performance by a brother of grade one. My friends Simrik, Kashvi and Haezel also performed on the song “boom boom”. We were offered milk tea but I didn’t have it because I don’t like milk tea.

As there were many students who participated in the program, I had to wait for my turn. I performed with my friends Aradhya, Apurba, Aamnaya, Manavi, Ashwith and Atullya. I was very nervous while I was reciting Sanskrit slok. After my performance, I was very hungry. So, I drank litchi juice and ate Oreo biscuits. After the program, I played with my friends. Then I clicked some photos with Yug, Medhanshi, Aashutosh, and Ajanya. The program ended at 6:55 pm. We returned home at 7:00 pm. I hope our school will organise an open mic again.
