Barcelona Football Club was founded on November 29th, 1899. The short form of Barcelona is Barca. Barcelona has won 74 trophies in La Liga, Copa Del Rey 30, Supercopa de Espana 13, Copa Eva Duarte 3, and Copa de La Liga 2 trophies as well as being the record holder for the latter four competitions.
In international football club, Barcelona has won 20 European and worldwide 5 UEFA Champions League titles and 4 records in UEFA Cup Winners, 5 UEFA Super Cup, 3 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, 3 Fifa world cup. Barcelona was ranked first in the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. Barcelona Club was ranked for 1997, 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2015 and currently occupies the third position on the UEFA club ranking. Barcelona is one of the most widely supported teams in the world and the club has one of the largest social media following in the world among sports teams. Barcelona's all-time highest goalscorer in all competitions (including friendlies) is Lionel Messi with 668 goals, surpassing Paulino Alcántara's record (369 goals) held for 87 years as well as being the highest goalscorer in official competitions with 633 goals. He is also the record goalscorer for Barcelona in European (117 goals) and international club competitions (122 goals) and the record league scorer with 444 goals in La Liga.
