In a village full of religious orthodoxies, and superstitious beliefs lives a young girl. She feels it challenging to survive with the beliefs of her own in contrast to those orthodoxies. She is an ambitious and curious girl. Owing to her nature, her parents decided to enroll her to a school where she was happy and ready for a new beginning of life. But she didn’t know that she was the only girl in the village to study at a school. As a young girl she was anxious and excited to start a new step of life. She started to imagine a situation in her head the earlier night of going to school. The very next day, she woke up early and got ready to leave for school.

The first step of entering school became her first step of a traumatizing scar.

She went to her respective classroom and sat quietly on the mat. One by one, boys only entered the classroom. Shocking and mocking faces of boys were clearly seen by her. “Look at her, she thinks that she is a daring person after enrolling in this school, we will surely make her regret this decision,” said a boy laughingly with an ego.

The confidence seen at her face turned to fear. "Did I make the wrong decision? Am I not allowed to be an educated girl in this village?” While she was deep into her thoughts, a fat bellied teacher entered and started to teach. While he was teaching, he raised a question. Nobody knew about it except the girl. She raised her hand and said, “I know the answer”, but the teacher made it look like she didn’t know anything. For him she did not have any dignity as a girl, nor even her existence. Likewise, one by one classes passed, and it was the lunch break. She was the only girl in the class. So, she had to enter the boys’ washroom. As she entered the boy who was mocking her, saw her, came near her, and started to look at her with eyes of full disgrace and evil wish.

Spine-chilling shivers arose in her body as he started to bully her, at that moment she felt to disappear into thin air. She slung his hand and ran to the classroom. The Disgusting feeling of inferiority made her angry and lost her appetite. A curious girl in the classroom became a quiet girl until the classes were over.

She ran home as fast as she could go. She entered her home and locked herself in her room. She didn't respond to the questions of her parents and vowed not to go to the school again. She left her dream shattered into pieces and left a big scar of mistreat done to her in the school which could not be erased throughout her life.
