Even though some people may think that living eternally would be a blessing, I believe that it is a curse. There are more disadvantages compared to advantages of living alone. What if, you are the only one who acquires the formula, you would have to live forever and watch all your loved ones die. Would that be happy for you? Also I would much rather die peacefully after living a happy and prosperous life than living eternally. I may be delusional but what if it is the end of the world? You will be there to experience it. After the end of the world nothing will remain, what will you do at that point.You just get older everyday and slowly you won't be able to move and live freely, you will just be stuck in your bed for the entire day doing nothing. So,I dont think thats the idea of cool you are trying to live with.You will also have to pay for all your life’s necessities like transportation, food and health. After most of your family passes away. Who will take care of you? You can't even work properly so how can you afford to pay for those necessities? There will be some people in this world with non-curable diseases such as cancer and heart diseases. Those people won't be able to work and pay for their medical bills. They will probably have to live in the fear of pain that they will have to endure if they trigger their disease. You will just become old and lonely with each passing day. If you would live forever, there would be overpopulation and that definitely isn't a good thing to have for society. Life is a process. Once you live you die. That is the rule of nature. You can't just simply come up with a formula to immortality and be like, “Hey folks, we are living forever now!”.Nature is way more powerful than we will ever be and we should not try to defeat it either because we already know we will lose one day even if it is a slow process. This world is supposed to have a limit so don't try to break it. Just because Immortality sounds so cool and so fun does not mean it actually is as it has more disadvantages than advantages no matter what you say. It is the truth so don't try to deny it. Considering these disadvantages, I strongly believe that living forever is much more of a curse compared to a blessing. So, you don't want to live a miserable life that will never end and you will just grow older and older. Do you?
