I open my eyes and try to see
Only to realise cloud around me
Insearch of light in the shade
It might just go away or fade
Was this all just an illusion?
Turns out it was a delusion
Searching for the ray of light
Looking for the side that is bright
Trying to get away from the shadow
Roaming around me like a mosquito
I find a piece of shattered glass
Lying around the floor like grass
Sight of hope and success
I slowly come out of that mess
Maybe I finally made it out
Maybe I figured out the path
