"Are books better than movies? In my opinion, books are always better than movies. Books are the source of knowledge, whereas movies only provide entertainment. Books allow you to imagine the setting and events happening in the story, stimulating the reader's imagination. For example, if I describe a person as short, moustached, and funny, different people may have different imaginations. However, if I mention the name Charlie Chaplin, everyone will imagine his face. Books enable each individual to have their own unique imagination.
Typically, a film lasts two to three hours and may miss important details, while a book can have hundreds or even thousands of pages, providing more detailed descriptions than a movie. When watching movies, you can only understand what's happening within the scenes. However, when reading a book, your brain has to imagine and create most of the details itself, which strengthens and sharpens it. Reading books allows the reader to form a connection with the characters and the story.
Books also have a positive impact on children's lives. They improve their reading, writing, creativity, productivity, and listening skills, among others. Reading books is truly important in our lives. Overall, it can be concluded that books are better than movies as they provide historical information, knowledge, and entertainment.
